| 1 | Effect of proteins,polysaccharides,and particle sizes on sludge dewaterability显示文摘Four batch experiments of hydrolysis and acidification were carried out to investigate the distributions of proteins(PN) and polysaccharides(PS) in the sludge,the PN/PS ratio,the particle sizes,and their relationship with sludge dewaterability(as determined by capillary suction time,CST) . The sludge flocs were stratified through centrifugation-and ultrasound-based method into four fractions:(1) slime,(2) loosely bound extracellular polymeric substances(LB-EPS) ,(3) tightly bound EPS(TB-EPS) ,and(4) pellet. The results showed that PN was mainly partitioned in the pellet(80.7%) and TB-EPS(9.6%) fractions,while PS distributed evenly in the four fractions. During hydrolysis and acidification,PN was transferred from the pellet and TB-EPS fractions to the slime fraction,but PS had no significant transfer trends. The mean particle sizes of the sludge flocs decreased with hydrolysis and acidification. The pH had a more significant influence on the dewaterability of sludge flocs than temperature. Sludge dewaterability during hydrolysis and acidification processes greatly deteriorated from 9.7 s at raw sludge to 340-450 s under alkaline conditions. However,it was just slightly increased under acidic conditions. | 2 | Analysis of pesticide residues in commercially available chenpi using a modified QuEChERS method and GC-MS/MS determination显示文摘To ensure the safety of the commercially available chenpi,a convenient and fast analytical method was developed for the determination of 133 pesticide residues in chenpi using gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(GC-MS/MS).In this study,different extraction solvents,redissolution solvents and adsorbents were tested according to the recovery and purification effect to obtain a modified QuEChERS method.The samples were extracted with acetonitrile.During the clean-up step,octadecyl-modified silica(C18)and graphitized carbon black(GCB)were selected,and aminopropyl(NH2)was used instead of primary secondary amine(PSA)because of its weaker ion exchange capacity which had little effect on the recovery of ditalimfos.Samples were quantified by matrix-matched calibration with internal standards.All pesticides showed good linearity in the respective range,both with values of r2>0.99.The average recoveries of the pesticides spiked samples ranged from 70.0% to 112.2% with the RSDs of 0.2%–14.4%.The modified QuEChERS method was validated and applied to twenty real samples.Five pesticides were found in eight batches,but no pesticide exceeded the maximum residue limits(MRL,MRL reference to European commission). | Shuang Li Peipei Yu Ceng Zhou Ling Tong Dongxiang Li Zhiguo Yu Yunli Zhao | 2020 | Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2020,10,1: | 34 |

| 9 | Uniform single atomic Cu_(1)-C_(4)sites anchored in graphdiyne for hydroxylation of benzene to phenol显示文摘For single-atom catalysts(SACs),the catalyst supports are not only anchors for single atoms,but also modulators for geometric and electronic structures,which determine their catalytic performance.Selecting an appropriate support to prepare SACs with uniform coordination environments is critical for achieving optimal performance and clarifying the relationship between the structure and the property of SACs.Approaching such a goal is still a significant challenge.Taking advantage of the strong d-πinteraction between Cu atoms and diacetylenic in a graphdiyne(GDY)support,we present an efficient and simple strategy for fabricating Cu single atoms anchored on GDY(Cu_(1)/GDY)with uniform Cu_(1)-C_(4)single sites under mild conditions.The Cu atomic structure was confirmed by combining synchrotron radiation X-ray absorption spectroscopy,X-ray photoele ctron spectroscopy and density functional theory(DFT)calculations.The as-prepared Cu1/GDY exhibits much higher activity than state-of-the-art SACs in direct benzene oxidation to phenol with H_(2)O_(2)reaction,with turnover frequency values of 251 h^(-1)at room temperature and 1889 h^(-1)at 60℃,respectively.Furthermore,even with a high benzene conversion of86%,high phenol sele ctivity(96%)is maintaine d,which can be ascribed to the hydrophobic and oleophyllic surface nature of Cu1/GDY for benzene adsorption and phenol desorption.Both experiments and DFT calculations indicate that Cu_(1)-C_(4)single sites are more effective at activating H_(2)O_(2)to form Cu=O bonds,which are important active intermediates for benzene oxidation to phenol. | Jia Yu Changyan Cao Hongqiang Jin Weiming Chen Qikai Shen Peipei Li Lirong Zheng Feng He Weiguo Song Yuliang Li | 2022 | National Science Review2022,9,9: | 3 |

| 12 | Impact assessment of modified clay on embryo-larval stages of turbot Scophthalmus maximus L.显示文摘Using modified clay is one of the most promising methods for the mitigation of harmful algal blooms(HABs).However,the environmental impact of modified clay has become a subject of global concern.In this study,turbot(Scophthalmus maximus L.)embryos were used as a model to assess the effect of modified clay on this sensitive stage of fish development.Results show that the 24 and 48h LC 50(median lethal concentrations)of the modified clay were 1.70 and 1.65 g/L,and the safe concentration was 0.47 g/L,which is much higher than the concentration used to treat HAB.The modified clay did not affect significantly the hatchability of turbot embryos but when the concentration exceeded 0.50 g/L,the deformity rate of newly hatched larvae increased significantly.The total length,specific growth rate(SGR)and yolk sac absorption rate of larvae reached their peaks at 0.50 g/L and then gradually decreased as the concentration of modified clay increased.Therefore,a moderate amount of modified clay does not harm the survival and hatching of turbot embryos,or the growth and development of newly hatched larvae. | ZHANG Yue SONG Xiuxian YU Zhiming ZHANG Peipei CAO Xihua YUAN Yongquan | 2019 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3: | 2 |
| 13 | Single-cell RNA-sequencing reveals the dynamic process and novel markers in porcine spermatogenesis显示文摘Background:Spermatogenesis is the process by which male gametes are formed from spermatogonial stem cells and it is essential for the reliable transmission of genetic information between generations.To date,the dynamic transcriptional changes of defined populations of male germ cells in pigs have not been reported.Results:To characterize the atlas of porcine spermatogenesis,we profiled the transcriptomes of~16,966 testicular cells from a 150-day-old pig testis through single-cell RNA-sequencing(scRNA-seq).The scRNA-seq analysis identified spermatogonia,spermatocytes,spermatids and three somatic cell types in porcine testes.The functional enrichment analysis demonstrated that these cell types played diverse roles in porcine spermatogenesis.The accuracy of the defined porcine germ cell types was further validated by comparing the data from scRNA-seq with those from bulk RNA-seq.Since we delineated four distinct spermatogonial subsets,we further identified CD99 and PODXL2 as novel cell surface markers for undifferentiated and differentiating spermatogonia,respectively.Conclusions:The present study has for the first time analyzed the transcriptome of male germ cells and somatic cells in porcine testes through scRNA-seq.Four subsets of spermatogonia were identified and two novel cell surface markers were discovered,which would be helpful for studies on spermatogonial differentiation in pigs.The datasets offer valuable information on porcine spermatogenesis,and pave the way for identification of key molecular markers involved in development of male germ cells. | Lingkai Zhang Fuyuan Li Peipei Lei Ming Guo Ruifang Liu Ling Wang Taiyong Yu Yinghua Lv Tao Zhang Wenxian Zeng Hongzhao Lu Yi Zheng | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,2: | 2 |
| 14 | Chromosome-level Genomes Reveal the Genetic Basis of Descending Dysploidy and Sex Determination in Morus Plants显示文摘Multiple plant lineages have independently evolved sex chromosomes and variable karyotypes to maintain their sessile lifestyles through constant biological innovation.Morus notabilis,a dioecious mulberry species,has the fewest chromosomes among Morus spp.,but the genetic basis of sex determination and karyotype evolution in this species has not been identified.In this study,three high-quality genome assemblies were generated for Morus spp.[including dioecious M.notabilis(male and female)and Morus yunnanensis(female)]with genome sizes of 301–329 Mb and were grouped into six pseudochromosomes.Using a combination of genomic approaches,we found that the putative ancestral karyotype of Morus species was close to 14 protochromosomes,and that several chromosome fusion events resulted in descending dysploidy(2n=2x=12).We also characterized a~6.2-Mb sex-determining region on chromosome 3.Four potential male-specific genes,a partially duplicated DNA helicase gene(named MSDH)and three Ty3_Gypsy long terminal repeat retrotransposons(named MSTG1/2/3),were identified in the Y-linked area and considered to be strong candidate genes for sex determination or differentiation.Population genomic analysis showed that Guangdong accessions in China were genetically similar to Japanese accessions of mulberry.In addition,genomic areas containing selective sweeps that distinguish domesticated mulberry from wild populations in terms of flowering and disease resistance were identified.Our study provides an important genetic resource for sex identification research and molecular breeding in mulberry. | Zhongqiang Xia Xuelei Dai Wei Fan Changying Liu Meirong Zhang Peipei Bian Yuping Zhou Liang Li Baozhong Zhu Shuman Liu Zhengang Li Xiling Wang Maode Yu Zhonghuai Xiang Yu Jiang Aichun Zhao | 2022 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2022,20,6: | 1 |
