1Review of the characteristics and graded utilisation of coal gasification slag显示文摘The characteristics of the energy structure of rich coal,less oil and less gas,coupling with a high external dependence on oil and natural gas and the emphasis on the efficient and clean utilisation of coal,have brought opportunities for coal chemical industry.However,with the large-scale popularisation of coal gasification technology,the production and resulting storage of coal gasification slag continue to increase,which not only result in serious environmental pollution and a waste of terrestrial resources,but also seriously affect the sustainable development of coal chemical enterprises.Hence,the treatment of coal gasification slag is extremely important.In this paper,the production,composition,morphology,particle size structure and water holding characteristics of coal gasification slag are introduced,and the methods of carbon ash separation of gasification slag,both domestically and abroad,are summarised.In addition,the paper also summarises the research progress on gasification slag in building materials,ecological restoration,residual carbon utilisation and other high-value utilisation,and ultimately puts forward the idea of the comprehensive utilisation of gasification slag.For large-scale consumption to solve the environmental problems of enterprises and achieve high-value utilisation to increase the economic benefits of enterprises,it is urgent to zealously design a reasonable and comprehensive utilisation technologies with simple operational processes,strong adaptability and economic benefits.Xiaodong Liu Zhengwei Jin Yunhuan Jing Panpan Fan Zhili Qi Weiren Bao Jiancheng Wang Xiaohui Yan Peng Lv Lianping Dong 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,7:21

4Triboelectric nanogenerators with a constant inherent capacitance design显示文摘Triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs)utilize the phenomena of contact electrification and electrostatic induction to harvest mechanical energy from the environment.A good match between the motion frequency and the circuit characteristic frequency is critical for the effective power generation of a TENG.However,most TENGs have a time-dependent inherent capacitance(TICTENG),which hinders an optimal design for efficient energy conversion.Here,we propose a novel structure of a TENG with a constant inherent capacitance(CIC-TENG)and a mathematical model is established to provide analytical expressions of key output parameters of the device,which gives numerical simulation results that are in good agreement with the experimentally obtained results.Figures of merit and an optimization strategy are also given as guidelines for the optimization of material selection,geometry design,etc.Furthermore,a disk-formed CIC-TENG(DCIC-TENG)with polarity-switched triboelectric pairs is constructed to harvest unidirectional mechanical energy continuously,achieving an output power density of 55 mW/m^(2).The effects of the motion frequency,the number of electrodes and triboelectric pairs on the charge transfer efficiency of the DCICTENG are assessed and a preferred design strategy is given.Finally,the CIC-TENG demonstrates approximately two-fold advantages in power transfer efficiency over the TIC-TENG,and a DCIC-TENG-based self-powered anemometer was fabricated to measure wind speed in real time.Lanyue Gan Fan Xia Panpan Zhang Xijun Jiang Yuxuan Liu Simiao Niu Youfan Hu 2023Nano Research2023,16,3:0

8Scutellarin prevents acute alcohol-induced liver injury via inhibiting oxidative stress by regulating the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway and inhibiting inflammation by regulating the AKT,p38 MAPK/NF-κB pathways显示文摘Alcoholic liver disease(ALD)is the most frequent liver disease worldwide,resulting in severe harm to personal health and posing a serious burden to public health.Based on the reported antioxidant and anti-inflammatory capacities of scutellarin(SCU),this study investigated its protective role in male BALB/c mice with acute alcoholic liver injury after oral administration(10,25,and 50 mg/kg).The results indicated that SCU could lessen serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)levels and improve the histopathological changes in acute alcoholic liver;it reduced alcohol-induced malondialdehyde(MDA)content and increased glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),catalase(CAT),and superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity.Furthermore,SCU decreased tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),and IL-1βmessenger RNA(mRNA)expression levels,weakened inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)activity,and inhibited nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain(NOD)-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3)inflammasome activation.Mechanistically,SCU suppressed cytochrome P450 family 2 subfamily E member 1(CYP2E1)upregulation triggered by alcohol,increased the expression of oxidative stress-related nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2)and heme oxygenase-1(HO-1)pathways,and suppressed the inflammation-related degradation of inhibitor of nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)-α(IκBα)as well as activation of NF-κB by mediating the protein kinase B(AKT)and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)pathways.These findings demonstrate that SCU protects against acute alcoholic liver injury via inhibiting oxidative stress by regulating the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway and suppressing inflammation by regulating the AKT,p38 MAPK/NF-κB pathways.Xiao ZHANG Zhicheng DONG Hui FAN Qiankun YANG Guili YU Enzhuang PAN Nana HE Xueqing LI Panpan ZHAO Mian FU Jingquan DONG 2023Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2023,24,7:0
9Super-enhancer receives signals from the extracellular matrix to induce PD-L1-mediated immune evasion via integrin/ BRAF/TAK1/ERK/ETV4 signaling显示文摘Objective:PD-L1 and PD-L2 expression levels determine immune evasion and the therapeutic efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade.The factors that drive inducible PD-L1 expression have been extensively studied,but mechanisms that result in constitutive PD-L1 expression in cancer cells are largely unknown.Methods:DNA elements were deleted in cells by CRISPR/Cas9-mediated knockout.Protein function was inhibited by chemical inhibitors.Protein levels were examined by Western blot,mRNA levels were examined by real-time RT-PCR,and surface protein expression was determined by cellular immunofluorescence and flow cytometry.Immune evasion was examined by in vitro T cell-mediated killing.Results:We determined the core regions(chr9:5,496,378–5,499,663)of a previously identified PD-L1L2-super-enhancer(SE).Through systematic analysis,we found that the E26 transformation-specific(ETS)variant transcription factor(ETV4)bound to this core DNA region but not to DNA surrounding PD-L1L2SE.Genetic knockout of ETV4 dramatically reduced the expressions of both PD-L1 and PD-L2.ETV4 transcription was dependent on ERK activation,and BRAF/TAK1-induced ERK activation was dependent on extracellular signaling fromαvβ3 integrin,which profoundly affected ETV4 transcription and PD-L1/L2 expression.Genetic silencing or pharmacological inhibition of components of the PD-L1L2-SE-associated pathway rendered cancer cells susceptible to T cell-mediated killing.Conclusions:We identified a pathway originating from the extracellular matrix that signaled via integrin/BRAF/TAK1/ERK/ETV4 to PD-L1L2-SE to induce PD-L1-mediated immune evasion.These results provided new insights into PD-L1L2-SE activation and pathways associated with immune checkpoint regulation in cancer.Panpan Ma Xinxin Jin Zhiwei Fan Zhou Wang Suhui Yue Changyue Wu Shiyin Chen Yuanyuan Wu Miaomiao Chen Donghua Gu Siliang Zhang Renfang Mao Yihui Fan 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,5:0
10J-shaped association between dietary zinc intake and new-onset hypertension:a nationwide cohort study in China显示文摘We aimed to investigate the relationship of dietary zinc intake with new-onset hypertension among Chinese adults.A total of 12,177 participants who were free of hypertension at baseline from the China Health and Nutrition Survey were included.Dietary intake was assessed by three consecutive 24-h dietary recalls combined with a household food inventory.Participants with systolic blood pressure≥140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure≥90 mmHg or diagnosed by a physician or under antihypertensive treatment during the follow-up were defined as having new-onset hypertension.During a median follow-up duration of 6.1 years,4269 participants developed new-onset hypertension.Overall,the association between dietary zinc intake and new-onset hypertension followed a J-shape(P for non-linearity<0.001).The risk of new-onset hypertension significantly decreased with the increment of dietary zinc intake(per mg/day:hazard ratio(HR)0.93;95%confidence interval(CI)0.88–0.98)in participants with zinc intake<10.9 mg/day,and increased with the increment of zinc intake(per mg/day:HR 1.14;95%CI 1.11–1.16)in participants with zinc intake≥10.9 mg/day.In conclusion,there was a J-shaped association between dietary zinc intake and new-onset hypertension in general Chinese adults,with an inflection point at about 10.9 mg/day.Panpan He Huan Li Mengyi Liu Zhuxian Zhang Yuanyuan Zhang Chun Zhou Ziliang Ye Qimeng Wu Min Liang Jianping Jiang Guobao Wang Jing Nie Fan Fan Hou Chengzhang Liu Xianhui Qin 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,1:0

13NLRP3 inflammasome signal pathway involves in Vibrio harveyi-induced inflammatory response in murine peritoneal macrophages in vitro显示文摘Vibrio harveyi,an important zoonotic pathogen,can infect wounds and cause inflammatory response.Understanding the inflammatory response pathways could facilitate the exploration of molecular mechanisms for treating V.harveyi infection.NLR family pyrin domain-containing 3(NLRP3)inflammasome is involved in the interaction between hosts&pathogenic microorganisms&could be sensed by various pathogen-associated molecular patterns(PAMPs)or damage-associated molecular patterns(DAMPs).Nonetheless,the function of NLRP3 inflammasome in V.harveyi infection remains unclear.In the present study,we established a V.harveyi infection model using murine peritoneal macrophages(PMs).Various techniques,including western blot analysis,enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),RT-qPCR,immunofluorescence,&inhibition assays,were used to explore the molecular mechanism of V.harveyi-induced inflammation.The results showed that many inflammatory cytokines participated in V.harveyi infection,with interleukin(IL)-1βbeing the most abundant.Pan-caspase inhibitor pretreatment significantly decreased the secretion of IL-1βin murine PMs.Moreover,the identification of V.harveyi involved a large number of NLR molecules,especially the NLRP3 receptor,&further studies revealed that NLPR3 inflammasome was activated by V.harveyi infection,as evidenced by puncta-like NLRP3 surrounding cell nuclear,ASC specks in the nucleus&cytoplasm,&ASC oligomerization.Inhibition of NLRP3 inflammasome impaired the release of mature IL-1βin V.harveyi-infected murine PMs.Furthermore,blocking the secretion of mature IL-1βcould markedly decrease the release of other proinflammatory cytokines,including IL-6,IL-12,&tumor necrosis factor-α.Overall,these data indicated that NLRP3 inflammasome was activated in response to V.harveyi infection and enhanced inflammatory response by promoting IL-1βsecretion in murine PMs.Guili Yu Jinxin Wang Wei Zhang Qiankun Yang Gang Liu Lei Wang Babatunde Kazeem Bello Xiao Zhang Tianmeng Zhang Hui Fan Panpan Zhao Wei Liang Jingquan Dong 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,12:0
