| 3 | Structure Analysis and Classification of Precipitation Cells by Fractal Geometry显示文摘This paper analyzes the possibility to discriminate between convective precipitation and stratiform precipitation.This study aims to improve the measurement of rainfall from teledetection data obtained both on the ground and in space.For this,two parameters,fractal dimension and fractal lacunarity,are considered.To calculate the fractal dimension,we use the approach of box-counting and show that the fractal dimension differs between convectives cells and stratiforms ones.And then the fractal lacunarity parameter is calculated by using the sliding boxes algorithm.The study for all the regions shows that precipitation cells can be described by different lacunarities whatever the scale of analysis.We deduce that the two parameters,fractal dimension and fractal lacunarity,can be used to classify precipitations in convective regime and stratiform regime. | Nafissa Azzaz Boualem Haddad | 2014 | Journal of Electronic Science and Technology2014，12，2： | 0 |
| 4 | Cutaneous Leishmaniasis: Endemic Regions and Epidemiological Characteristics of Cases Declared at University Hospital Center of Tlemcen, Algeria, 2012-2016显示文摘Cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) is a widespread parasitic disease and a public health problem worldwide. It is an endemic and notifiable disease in Algeria. Our objective was to know the epidemiological characteristics and to determine the endemic regions of the CL in the town of Tlemcen. A descriptive study was conducted with a prospective collection over five years, from 2012 to 2016, based on the systematic declaration of CL cases received from the various departments of the University Hospital center (UHC) of Tlemcen. Data entry and analysis was done by Epi-info 6 software. Thirty-four cases of cutaneous leishmaniasis, 27 of which are autochthonous were reported at the UHC of Tlemcen during 5 years with a female predominance;sex ratio (h/f): 0.79. The most affected age group was 40-50 years old. Six cases occurred in children under 16 years, 80% of the reports were received by the dermatology department. The highest peak was recorded in 2013;autumnal predominance was noted in 30% of cases. All patients lived or had been in endemic areas. | 5 | Bending and Free Vibration Analysis of Porous-Functionally-Graded(PFG)Beams Resting on Elastic Foundations显示文摘The bending and free vibration of porous functionally graded(PFG)beams resting on elastic foundations are analyzed.The material features of the PFG beam are assumed to vary continuously through the thickness according to the volume fraction of components.The foundation medium is also considered to be linear,homogeneous,and isotropic,and modeled using the Winkler-Pasternak law.The hyperbolic shear deformation theory is applied for the kinematic relations,and the equations of motion are obtained using the Hamilton’s principle.An analytical solution is presented accordingly,assuming that the PFG beam is simply supported.Comparisons with the open literature are implemented to verify the validity of such a formulation.The effects of the elastic foundations,porosity volume percentage and span-to-depth ratio are finally discussed in detail. | Lazreg Hadji Fabrice Bernard Nafissa Zouatnia | 2023 | Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing2023，19，4： | 0 |
