| 17 | Capacitive Coupled Wide-Notch Stepped Impedance Narrow-Band Bandpass Filter for WiMax Application显示文摘The development of wireless communication standards necessitates optimal filter design for the selection of appropriate bands of frequencies.In this work,a compact in size pair of parallel coupled symmetric stepped impedancebased resonator is designed with supporting to the WiMAX communication standards.The coupled resonator is tuned to allow the frequency band between 3.4 GHz and 3.8 GHz,which is centered at 3.6 GHz.A parasitic effect of capacitively coupled feed structure is used for exciting the two symmetrical stepped impedance resonators.The bandwidth and selectivity of the filter are enhanced with the change of characteristic impedances and controlling the coupling gap between resonators.This design offers single narrow sharp passband selectivity as well as multiple stopband harmonic suppression arising as a result of multiple transmission zeros.The designed filter operates with a fractional bandwidth(FBW)of 11.47%.The proposed single narrowband bandpass filter provides better suppression in either side of the tuned frequency(3.6 GHz)without degrading the passband performance.Also,this novel filter offers an insertion loss of about−0.08 dB and a return loss of greater than−30 dB in passband.This approach is useful for eliminating unwanted spurious harmonics responses that enter the desired response.The suggested bandpass filter has been simulated using Advanced Design System(ADS)tool,and the measurement has been made using a network analyzer,and the results are reported. | A.Kayalvizhi G.Sankara Malliga | 2022 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2022,43,11: | 0 |

| 19 | Human Action Recognition Using Difference of Gaussian and Difference of Wavelet显示文摘Human Action Recognition(HAR)attempts to recognize the human action from images and videos.The major challenge in HAR is the design of an action descriptor that makes the HAR system robust for different environments.A novel action descriptor is proposed in this study,based on two independent spatial and spectral filters.The proposed descriptor uses a Difference of Gaussian(DoG)filter to extract scale-invariant features and a Difference of Wavelet(DoW)filter to extract spectral information.To create a composite feature vector for a particular test action picture,the Discriminant of Guassian(DoG)and Difference of Wavelet(DoW)features are combined.Linear Discriminant Analysis(LDA),a widely used dimensionality reduction technique,is also used to eliminate duplicate data.Finally,a closest neighbor method is used to classify the dataset.Weizmann and UCF 11 datasets were used to run extensive simulations of the suggested strategy,and the accuracy assessed after the simulations were run on Weizmann datasets for five-fold cross validation is shown to perform well.The average accuracy of DoG+DoW is observed as 83.6635%while the average accuracy of Discrinanat of Guassian(DoG)and Difference of Wavelet(DoW)is observed as 80.2312%and 77.4215%,respectively.The average accuracy measured after the simulation of proposed methods over UCF 11 action dataset for five-fold cross validation DoG+DoW is observed as 62.5231%while the average accuracy of Difference of Guassian(DoG)and Difference of Wavelet(DoW)is observed as 60.3214%and 58.1247%,respectively.From the above accuracy observations,the accuracy of Weizmann is high compared to the accuracy of UCF 11,hence verifying the effectiveness in the improvisation of recognition accuracy. | Gopampallikar Vinoda Reddy Kongara Deepika Lakshmanan Malliga Duraivelu Hemanand Chinnadurai Senthilkumar Subburayalu Gopalakrishnan Yousef Farhaoui | 2023 | Big Data Mining and Analytics2023,6,3: | 0 |
