3GiT-based structural geologic feature analysis of the southern segment of Longmenshan fault zone for earthquake evidence显示文摘The Longmenshan fault is a thrust fault which runs along the base of the Longmen Mountains in Sichuan province,southwestern China.The southern segment of the fault had two distinct responses to the Ms 8 Wenchuan and Ms 7 Lushan earthquakes.This study determines characteristics of the structural geology of the Longmenshan fault to evaluate how it influenced the two aforementioned earthquakes.This research was done within a Geoinformation Technologies(Gi T) environment based on multi-source remote sensing and crustal movement data extracted from the Global Positioning System(GPS).The spatial distribution of the southern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone was comprehensively analyzed to study both earthquakes.The study revealed that the Wenchuanand Lushan earthquakes occurred on two relatively independent faults.In addition,there was a nearly constant-velocity crustal movement zone between the two epicenters that probably had a compressive stress with slow motion.Furthermore,the central fault and a mountain back fault gradually merged from north to south.The Lushan earthquake was not an aftershock of the Wenchuan earthquake.The research showed that fault zones within 30–50 km of State Highway 318 are intensive and complex.In addition,crustal movement velocity decreased rapidly,with a strong multi-directional shear zone.Thus,activity in that zone was likely stronger than in the northern part over the medium to long term.YE Cheng-ming CUI Peng Saied PIRASTEH Jonathan LI MENG Qingkai BI Xiao-jia ZHANG Jian-qiang 2016Journal of Mountain Science2016,13,5:1
4Mechanical properties,components and decay resistance of Populus davidiana bioincised by Coriolus versicolor显示文摘The experiment was conducted to improve the decay resistance of wood by increasing the wood preservatives uptake and penetration depth by bioincising with Coriolus versicolor.The mechanical properties of bioincised Populus davidiana sapwood were measured.The changes of wood components(lignin,cellulose and hemicellulose)were analyzed by FTIR.The staining treatment using potassium permanganate was to measure the preservatives uptake and penetration depth in wood specimens.The decay resistance of bioincised specimens impregnated with IPBC and CA was assessed against C.versicolor and Gloeophyllum trabeum using bioincised P.davidiana sapwood and untreated controls.The results showed that the mechanical properties of the bioincised specimens were changed with the incubation time and mass loss.The mechanical strength was decreased after 17 days compared to that of the specimens bioincised<13 days.The bioincised specimens demonstrated the deeper penetration depth than the un-bioincised specimens.It was significant correlation(P<0.01)between penetration depth and incubation time.The average value of the penetration depth of the bioincised specimens was deeper than the control groups by 158.7%.By FTIR analysis,the biodegradation ability of C.versicolor to decay cellulose and hemicellulose was weaker than that of lignin.The bioincising treatment significantly increased the wood uptake of IPBC and CA,and reached the maximum uptake value at 17 and 13 days,respectively.Summarily,the bioincising pretreatment can obviously improve the wood decay resistance against C.versicolor and G.trabeum following by introducing the IPBC and CA.Lulu Chang Binbin Rong Guoqi Xu Qingkai Meng Lihai Wang 2020Journal of Forestry Research2020,31,5:0
5Covalent organic hollow nanospheres constructed by using AIEactive units for nitrophenol explosives detection显示文摘The development of conjugated nanomaterials with high sensitivity and super-amplified quenching effect for the detection of nitrophenol explosives is still a great challenge. Herein, we developed conjugated hollow nanospheres constructed by using aggregation-induced emission(AIE) active 1,3,5-tris(4-formyl-phenyl)benzene(TFPB). The high emission hollow nanospheres with uniform size and admirable dispersiveness exhibited obvious fluorescence quenching response with the addition of nitrophenol explosives owing to the photoinduced electron transfer(PET) from the hollow nanospheres to nitrophenol explosives. The Stern-Volmer constants of hollow spheres for 2,4,6-trinitrophenol(TNP), 4-nitrophenol(NP) and 2,4-dinitrophenol(DNP) can reach 9.67×10^5, 3.14×10^5 and 4.8×10^4 M-1, respectively. Furthermore, the handy test paper coated with hollow nanospheres was prepared and showed a good response toward TNP solutions and vapor. 7Morphology controllable conjugated network polymers based on AIE-active building block for TNP detection显示文摘Luminescent conjugated network polymer is one of the most promising chemo-sensors owing to their good chemical/optical stability and multiple functionalization.Herein,three conjugated network polymers were prepared by using aggregation-induced emission active 1,1,2,2-tetrakis(4-formyl-(1,1’-biphenyl))-ethane(TFBE)unit as monomer and hydrazine as linker.Through regulating the synthetical condition,the polyme ric network can form either unifo rm two-dimensional azine-linked nanosheets(ANS),conjugated microporous polymers(A-CMP)or covalent organic frameworks(A-COF).All of these polymers exhibited good stability and high fluorescence quantum efficiency with the quantum yield of6.31%for A-NS,5.26%for A-CMP,and 5.80%for A-COF,as well as fast and selective fluorescence quenching response to 2,4,6-trinitrophenol(TNP).And the best TNP sensing performance with the Stern-Volmer constants(K_(sv))values up to 8×10^(5)L/mol and a detection limit of 0.09μmol/L was obtained for A-NS.The study explores various strategies to construct conjugated polymers with different nanoarchitectures based on the same building block for sensitive detection of explosives.Shan Jiang Lingchen Meng Wenyue Ma Qingkai Qi Wei Zhang Bin Xu Leijing Liu Wenjing Tian 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,3:0
8Effects of Allelochemicals on Root Growth and Pod Yield in Response to Continuous Cropping Obstacle of Peanut显示文摘Continuous cropping(CC)obstacle is a major threat in legume crops production;however,the underlying mechanisms concerning the roles allelochemicals play in CC obstacle are poorly understood.The current 2-year study was conducted to investigate the effects of different kinds and concentrations of allelochemicals,p-hydroxybenzoic acid(H),cinnamic acid(C),phthalic acid(P),and their mixtures(M)on peanut root growth and productivity in response to CC obstacle.Treatment with H,C,P,and M significantly decreased the plant height,dry weight of the leaves and stems,number of branches,and length of the lateral stem compared with control.Exogenous application of H,C,P,and M inhibited the peanut root growth as indicated by the decreased root morphological characters.The allelochemicals also induced the cell membrane oxidation even though the antioxidant enzymes activities were significantly increased in peanut roots.Meanwhile,treatment with H,C,P,and M reduced the contents of total soluble sugar and total soluble protein.Analysis of ATPase activity,nitrate reductase activity,and root system activity revealed that the inhibition effects of allelochemicals on peanut roots might be due to the decrease in activities of ATPase and NR,and the inhibition of root system.Consequently,allelochemicals significantly decreased the pod yield of peanut compared with control.Our results demonstrate that allelochemicals play a dominant role in CC obstacle-induced peanut growth inhibition and yield reduction through damaging the root antioxidant system,unbalancing the osmolytes accumulation,and decreasing the activities of root-related enzymes.Zhaohui Tang Feng Guo Li Cui Qingkai Li Jialei Zhang Jianguo Wang Sha Yang Jingjing Meng Xinguo Li Ping Liu Shubo Wan 2023Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,1:0
9Platinum single atom catalysts for hydrogen isotope separation during hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Electrolysis of water is widely used for hydrogen isotope separation and the development of hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalysts with high selectivity and activity is of key importance.Herein,we propose single atom catalysts(SACs)as promising catalysts for efficient hydrogen isotope separation.Pt SACs and Pt nanoparticles(NPs)have been fabricated on nanoarray-structured nitrogen-doped graphite foil(NGF)substrate by a polyol reduction method.The as prepared Pt1/NGF electrode exhibits high activity and selectivity toward HER with a low overpotential of 0.022 V at 10 mA·cm^(-2) and a high separation factor of 6.83 for hydrogen and deuterium separation,much better than Pt NPs counterpart.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations ascribe the high activity and selectivity to the constructed Pt-N_(2)C_(2) structure.This work develops a new opportunity for the design and application of high-efficiency and stable SACs toward hydrogen isotope separation by electrolysis of water.Jingsong Xu Rui Li Xiayan Yan Qingkai Zhao Rongguang Zeng Jingwen Ba Qifa Pan Xin Xiang Daqiao Meng 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:0
