1Assessment of pH-responsive nanoparticles performance on laboratory column flotation cell applying a real ore feed显示文摘Nanoparticles(NPs)can promote the column flotation process in mining industry.Nanoparticles'effects on column flotation process(copper recovery,grade and flotation rate constant)are assessed in Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex,Iran,through response surface methodology(RSM)optimization technique.The c-Al2O3,a-Fe2O3,SiO2,and TiO2 nanoparticles are selected for these experiments.A flotation rate constant is chosen as a response to assess the effect of nanoparticles on flotation in its kinetic sense.The process p H and nanoparticle dosage are selected as the influential parameters.Results obtained from RSM indicated that the maximum percentage of Cu recovery and grade is obtained at p H of 12 and nanoparticle dosage of 6 kg/t,through a-Fe2O3 and c-Al2O3 nanoparticles,respectively.Applying nanoparticles in particular c-Al2O3 and a-Fe2O3 increases the Cu recovery by 8–10%together with the grade by 3–6%in a significant manner.It is revealed that nanoparticles could effectively be applied in enhancing the flotation performance.Samiramis Nasirimoghaddam Ali Mohebbi Mohsen Karimi M.Reza Yarahmadi 2020International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2020,30,2:19

4A Kernel Function Based Interior-Point Methods for Solving P_*(κ)-Linear Complementarity Problem显示文摘In this paper, motivated by the complexity results of Interior Point Methods (IPMs) forLinear Optimization (LO) based on kernel functions, we present a polynomial time IPM for solvingP_*(κ)-linear complementarity problem, using a new class of kernel functions. The special case of ournew class was considered earlier for LO by Y. Q. Bai et al. in 2004. 12MHD effect of mixed convection boundary-layer flow of Powell-Eyring fluid past nonlinear stretching surface显示文摘Sufficient conditions are found for the existence of similar solutions of the mixed convection flow of a Powell-Eyring fluid over a nonlinear stretching permeable surface in the presence of magnetic field. To achieve this, one parameter linear group transformation is applied. The governing momentum and energy equations are transformed to nonlinear ordinary differential equations by use of a similarity transformation. These equations are solved by the homotopy analysis method(HAM) to obtain the approximate solutions. The effects of magnetic field, suction, and buoyancy on the Powell-Eyring fluid flow with heat transfer inside the boundary layer are analyzed. The effects of the nonNewtonian fluid(Powell-Eyring model) parameters ε and δ on the skin friction and local heat transfer coefficients for the cases of aiding and opposite flows are investigated and discussed. 14Magnetohydrodynamic Activity During Limiter Biasing on the CT-6B Tokamak显示文摘Magnetohydrodynamic phenomena in the CT-6B Tokamak based on Mirnov oscillations have been investigated by applying the limiter biasing potentials and changing the vacuum chamber gas pressure and plasma displacement.The results show that setting up a radial electric field at the plasma edge could drive electromagnetic instabilities in the tokamak plasma.Magnetic oscillation frequency upon application of a positive bias decreases about 10-15%and then after a delay time,τ_(d)=2.5-3 ms increases about 20-25%with respect to their value without biasing.In the negative bias regime the oscillation frequency increases about 10%in 1 ms after the application of the bias pulse.The poloidal rotation velocity changes during two steps are related to its link with the radial electric field and the time scale of the density gradient.The frequency of oscillations increases with the increasing chamber gas pressure and decreases with the increasing the outward plasma displacement.KHORSHID Pejman 王龙 杨宣宗 冯春华 张鹏云 戚霞枝 ROUHANI Shahriar RAHIMITABAR M.Reza AGHAMIR M.Farzin GHORANNEVISS Mahmud HANTEZADEH M.Reza 2001Chinese Physics Letters2001,18,3:0
