2最新版海冰模式CICE的优势:基于北极海冰时空特征的评估显示文摘【研究目的】海冰模式CICE(Los Alamos sea ice model)作为当前国际上的主流海冰模式之一,已被耦合进了大部分地球系统模式,对该模式模拟能力的评估工作是发展地球系统模式的重要参考依据。【创新点】通过观测数据与不同版本CICE模式对北极海冰数值模拟结果进行对比分析,研究了最新版本CICE6.0模拟能力及优势。【重要结论】CICE6.0模拟结果的年际误差最小,且季节变化与观测值最为吻合。相较而言,CICE4.0严重高估了冬季海冰总面积及低估了夏季海冰总面积,而CICE5.0在冬季的误差明显大于其他版本。此外,我们也关注了三个模式对多年冰和季节冰的模拟效果,从其均方根误差空间分布看出:模拟误差主要出现在中央海区及其周边海域。CICE4.0和CICE5.0在这些区域模拟的多年冰偏少、季节冰偏多,均低估了多年冰的变化趋势,且高估了季节冰的变化趋势;CICE6.0很好地解决了这些问题,其模拟的多年冰和季节冰的趋势最接近观测值,特别在北冰洋中部。总的来说,CICE6.0模拟的北极海冰在各方面都优于其他版本。WANG Huazhao ZHANG Lujun CHU Min HU Siyu 2020Atmospheric and Oceanic Science Letters2020,13,2:2
3Bound states in the continuum in all-dielectric metasurfaces with scaled lattice constants显示文摘Bound states in the continuum(BICs)have emerged as an efficient tool for trapping light at the nanoscale,promising several exciting applications in photonics.Breaking the structural symmetry has been proposed as an effective way of exciting quasiBICs(QBICs)and generating high-Q resonances.Herein,we demonstrate that QBICs can be excited in an all-dielectric metasurface by scaling the lattice of the metasurface,causing translational symmetry breaking.The corresponding BICs arise from band folding from the band edge to the Γ point in the first Brillouin zone.Multipole analysis reveals that the toroidal dipole dominates these QBICs.Furthermore,scaling the lattice along different directions provides additional freedom for tailoring QBICs,enabling polarization-dependent or-independent QBICs.In addition,this allows the realization of two QBICs at different wavelengths using plane-wave illumination with different polarizations on the metasurface.We experimentally demonstrated the existence of these BICs by fabricating silicon metasurfaces with scaled lattices and measuring their transmission spectra.The vanished resonant linewidth identifies BICs in the transmission spectrum,and the QBICs are characterized by highQ Fano resonances with the Q-factor reaching 2000.Our results have potential applications in enhancing light-matter interaction,such as laser,nonlinear harmonic generation,and strong coupling.Mimi Zhou Shaojun You Lei Xu Menghui Fan Jing Huang Wenbin Ma Mingzhe Hu Shengyun Luo Mohsen Rahmani Ya Cheng Lin Li Chaobiao Zhou Lujun Huang Andrey E.Miroshnichenko 2023Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2023,66,12:0
4ExoHCR:a sensitive assay to profile PD-L1 level on tumor exosomes for immunotherapeutic prognosis显示文摘Cancer immunotherapy has made recent breakthrough,including immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)that inhibits immunosuppressive checkpoints such as programmed cell death protein 1(PD-1)and programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1).However,most cancer patients do not durably respond to ICB.To predict ICB responses for patient stratification,conventional immunostaining has been used to analyze the PD-L1 expression level on biopsied tumor tissues but has limitations of invasiveness and tumor heterogeneity.Recently,PD-L1 levels on tumor cell exosomes showed the potential to predict ICB response.Here,we developed a non-invasive,sensitive,and fast assay,termed as exosome-hybridization chain reaction(ExoHCR),to analyze tumor cell exosomal PD-L1 levels.First,using aCD63-conjugated magnetic beads,we isolated exosomes from B16F10 melanoma and CT26 colorectal cancer cells that were immunostimulated to generate PD-Ll-positive exosomes.Exosomes were then incubated with a conjugate of PD-L1 antibody with an HCR trigger DNA(T),in which one aPD-Ll-T conjugate carried multiple copies of T.Next,a pair of metastable fluorophore-labeled hairpin DNA(HI and H2)were added,allowing TonαPD-Ll-T to initiate HCR in situ on bead-conjugated exosome surfaces.By flow cytometric analysis of the resulting beads,relative to aPD-Ll-fluorophore conjugates,ExoHCR amplified the fluorescence signal intensities for exosome detection by 3-7 times in B16F10 cells and CT26 cells.Moreover,we validated the biostability of ExoHCR in culture medium supplemented with 50%FBS.These results suggest the potential of ExoHCR for non-invasive,sensitive,and fast PD-L1 exosomal profiling in patient stratification of cancer immunotherapy.Lujun Hu Wenjie Chen Shurong Zhou Guizhi Zhu 2020Biophysics Reports2020,6,6:0
5Matrilineal Genealogy of Hynobius (Caudata:Hynobiidae) and a Temporal Perspective on Varying Levels of Diversity among Lineages of Salamanders on the Japanese Islands显示文摘Previous work found that different Japanese lineages of salamanders had quite different levels of species and genetic diversity. Lineages vary from having one to several species and the extent of genetic variation among lineages differs substantially. Most speciose,genus Hynobius contains 18 species and several potential cryptic species. We explore genetic diversity in this genus by combining comprehensive sampling and mitochondrial DNA sequences. Based on this and previous analyses of salamanders,relative times of divergence are employed to evaluate the relationship between age and diversity among the four major lineages whose distributions broadly overlap on the islands. For Hynobius,our analyses are congruent with the previously reported high level of cryptic diversity in morphology and allozymes,particularly in species composed of non-sister matrilines. Both species and genetic diversity correlate with the relative ages of the lineages. This correlation indicates that the variation in levels of diversity can be explained,to a considerable extent,by the hypothesis that older insular lineages have accumulated greater diversity.
