Sexual function of premature ejaculation patients assayed with Chinese Index of Premature Ejaculation显示文摘Aim: To assess the psychometric properties of the Chinese Index of Premature Ejaculation (CIPE).Methods: The sexual function of 167 patients with and 114 normal controls without premature ejaculation (PE) were evaluated with CIPE. All subjects were married and had regular sexual activity. The CIPE has 10 questions, focusing on libido, erectile function, ejaculatory latency, sexual satisfaction and difficulty in delaying ejaculation, self-confidence and depression. Each question was responded to on a 5 point Likert-type scale. The individual question score and the total scale score were analyzed between the two groups. Results: There were no significant differences between the age, duration of marriage and educational level (P>0.05) of patients with and without PE and normal controls. The mean latency of patients with PE and normal controls were 1.6±1.2 and 10.2±9.5 minutes, respectively. Significant differences between patients with (26.7±4.6) PE and normal controls (41.9±4.0) were observed on the total score of CIPE (P<0.01). Using binary logistic regression analysis, PE was significantly related to five questions of the original measure. They are the so-called the CIPE-5 and include: ejaculatory latency, sexual satisfaction of patients and sexual partner, difficulty in delaying ejaculation, anxiety and depression. Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve analysis of CIPE-5 questionnaire indicated that the sensitivity and specificity of CIPEwere 97.60% and 94.74%, respectively. Employing the total score of CIPE-5, patients with PE could be divided intothree groups: mild (>15 point) 19.8%, moderate (10~14 point) 62.8% and severe (<9point) 16.7%. Conclusion:The CIPE-5 is a useful method for the evaluation of sexual function of patients with PE and can be used as a clinical endpoint for clinical trials studying the efficacy of pharmacological intervention. | Yi-MingYuan Zhong-ChengXin HuiJiang Yan-JieGuo Wu-JiangLiu LongTian Ji-ChuanZhu | 2004 | Asian Journal of Andrology2004,6,2: | 21
Effect of renewed SS-cream on spinal somatosensory evokedpotential in rabbits显示文摘Aim:The effect of a renewed SS-cream (RSSC) on the treatment of premature ejaculation (PE) was evaluated and compared with the original SS-cream (OSSC).Methods: Sixty male white New Zealand rabbits, weighing 2.5kg-3.0kg,were divided at random into 3 groups:the RSSC,OSSC and placebo groups. The spinal somatosensory evoked potential (SSEP) elicited by electric stimulation of the glans penis with disk electrode was investigated with an electrophysiograph (Poseidomn,Shanghai,China) before and 10,30 and 60 min after drug or placebo application on the glans. The Onset and the N1 latencies and the amplitude of SSEP were recorded and analyzed. Results:There was no significant difference (P>0.05) in the mean Onset and N1 latency of SSEP among the 3 groups before drug application.Compared with the pre-application value, the mean Onset and N 1 latencies in the RSSC and OSSC groups were significantly prolonged at 10,30 and 60 min after treatment (P<0.05),while they were not significantly changed (P>0.05) in the placebo group. The mean Onset latency of RSSC at 10 and 30 min and that of OSSC at 30 min were significantly delayed (P<0.05) compared with the placebo group. The mean N1 latency of RSSC at 30 and 60 min and that of OSSC group at 30 min were also significantly delayed (P<0.05).Conclusion:RSSC delays the latencies of SSEP,suggesting a local desensitizing effect on the sensory receptor of the glans penis dorsal nerve, which provides the potential for PE treatment. The desensitizing effect of RSSC is higher than that of OSSC.( Asian J Androl 2004 Mar;6:15-18) | LongTian Zhong-ChengXin HuaXin JieFu Yi-MingYuan Wu-JiangLiu ChunYang | 2004 | Asian Journal of Andrology2004,6,1: | 2
Spectroscopic identification towards tunable mesoscale aggregates of zinc tetraphenylporphyrin for materials显示文摘We present a study of spectroscopic identification towards the molecular aggregates of zinc tetraphenylporphyrin(ZnTPP) illustrating how the energy states and intermolecular interactions determine the tunable properties of functional materials in condensation processes. Distinguishable fingerprints of ZnTPP nanorods and nanosheets are addressed utilizing X-ray diffraction(XRD), Raman and UV-vis absorption spectroscopies. Although these ZnTPPs are assigned to J-aggregation at different extent, the spectral analysis reveals a significant role of the intermolecular interactions associated with varying mesoscale architectures. Energy decomposition analysis(EDA) revealed that the varied ZnTPP aggregates are stabilized by altered dispersion interactions due to the dominant π…π stacking between the monomers. | Pan An Longtian Kang Zhen Tang Peifeng Su Zhixun Luo | 2018 | Chinese Chemical Letters2018,29,3: | 2
A positioning method for maize seed laser-cutting slice using linear discriminant analysis based on isometric distance measurement显示文摘It is necessary that vision system should aid laser-cutting manipulator to position the specified part of each maize seed for getting the slice breeding genotype analysis with high throughput. Each of trivial maize seeds should be recognized and positioned in a certain posture.Correlation area ratio(CAR)is defined as the metric of pixel attribute.A large template of round mask is adopted for seed morphological detection to measure the CAR values. We get the feature points extracted from the seed image through the isometric mapping operation.Iterative processes of linear discriminant analysis search the morphological data space to learn non-linear transformations to the space where data are linearly separable.Linear discriminant analysis utilizes the data directional distribution to position the major axis and distinguish different parts of maize seed. The labeling partition operation is applied for picking out the scattered pieces to be finely clustered.Without denoising process, the feature region could be recognized with accuracies by the synthetical methods.Extensive experiments on a large amount of seeds demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed methods. | Yingzi Wei Kanfeng Gu Longtian Tan | 2022 | Information Processing in Agriculture2022,9,2: | 1
Performance of a deep excavation and the influence on adjacent piles:A case history in karst region covered by clay and sand显示文摘This paper presents a case study of deep excavation adjacent to an existing bridge in karst region of Guangzhou city,China. The movements of retaining structures, settlements of surrounding ground and pipelines, and the responses of bridge piles were measured and evaluated.A sudden surge of groundwater was recorded at the north pit when excavated halfway.Soil-cement columns using the Metro Jet System(MJS)method was employed along the outer perimeters of the diaphragm wall where water inflow occurred, for the sake of blocking the flow channels. The measured maximum wall deflection dhm in this case ranged from 0.13%H to 0.3%H,with a mean value of 0.2%H(H is the excavation depth),which agreed well with the empirical prediction in mixed ground.During the MJS treatment, the wall and surrounding soils experienced notable lateral deflection and settlement. The bridge piles experienced significant settlement since the excavation commenced, which might be attributed to the inherent deficiency in geological condition and pile length. The soil disturbance induced by the adjacent deep excavation accelerated bridge settlement. The finite element analysis revealed that the excessive settlement of the bridge piles and ground surface resulted from confined-water withdrawal in sand layers. | Yubing Yang Caiyuan Chen Chao Liu Longtian Huang Wei Chen Nengyou Lin Jie Cui Wandong Xie | 2023 | Underground Space2023,,1: | 0
