| 1 | Isolation and characterization of H7N9 viruses from live poultry markets--Implication of the source of current H7N9 infection in humans显示文摘On March 31, 2013, the National Health and Family Planning Commission announced that human infections with a previously undescribed influenza A (H7N9) virus had occurred in Shanghai and Anhui Province, China. To investigate the possible origins of the H7N9 viruses causing these human infections, we collected 970 samples, including drinking water, soil, and cloacal and tracheal swabs of poultry from live poultry markets and poultry farms in Shanghai and Anhui Province. Twenty samples were positive for the H7N9 influenza virus. Notably, all 20 viruses were isolated from samples collected from live poultry markets in Shanghai. Phylogenetic analyses showed that the six internal genes of these novel human H7N9 viruses were derived from avian H9N2 viruses, but the ancestor of their HA and NA genes is uncertain. When we examined the phylogenetic relationship between the H7N9 isolates from live poultry markets and the viruses that caused the human infections, we found that they shared high homology across all eight gene segments. We thus identified the direct avian origin of the H7N9 influenza viruses that caused the human infections. Importantly, we observed that the H7N9 viruses isolated from humans had acquired critical mutations that made them more 'human-like'. | 5 | Downregulation of wild-type p53 protein by HER-2/neu mediated PI3K pathway activation in human breast cancer cells: its effect on cell proliferation and implication for therapy显示文摘Overexpression and activation of HER-2/neu (also known as c-erbB-2), a proto-oncogene, was found in about 30% of human breast cancers, promoting cancer growth and making cancer cells resistant to chemo- and radio-therapy.Wild-type p53 is crucial in regulating cell growth and apoptosis and is found to be mutated or deleted in 60-70% of human cancers. And some cancers with a wild-type p53 do not have normal p53 function, suggesting that it is implicated in a complex process regulated by many factors. In the present study, we showed that the overexpression of HER-2/neu could decrease the amount of wild-type p53 protein via activating PI3K pathway, as well as inducing MDM2 nuclear translocation in MCF7 human breast cancer cells. Blockage of PI3K pathway with its specific inhibitor LY294002 caused G1-S phase arrest, decreased cell growth rate and increased chemo- and radio-therapeutic sensitivity in MCF7 cells expressing wild-type p53. However, it did not increase the sensitivity to adriamycin in MDA-MB-453 breast cancer cells containing mutant p53. | 8 | Tribological Behavior of In Situ TiC/Graphene/Graphite/Ti6Al4V Matrix Composite Through Laser Cladding显示文摘The TiC/graphene/graphite/Ti6 Al4 V composite coating was prepared by laser cladding.The microstructure and tribological behavior of the coating were studied.The in situ reaction between graphene and Ti occurred,and feathery TiC was formed.The feathery TiC was homogeneously distributed betweenα’acicular martensites which was refined with the addition of graphene.Some graphene was transformed into allotrope graphite under the laser irradiation.The TiC hard particles and the self-lubrication of graphene/graphite improved the wear resistance of composite coating.The wear rate and friction coefficient of TiC/graphene/graphite/Ti6 Al4 V composite coating decreased with the increase in sliding speed,a mechanical mixing layer(MML)was formed on the wear surface of the composite coating under the frictional heat,which protected the substrate and reduced the contact.Because of the self-lubricating properties of graphene/graphite,interlayer sliding occurred easily,which also effectively reduced friction.The wear rate of TiC/graphene/graphite/Ti6 Al4 V composite coating increased with the increase in load,but the friction coefficient decreased.The plastic deformation of subsurface layer was more serious under high load,and a stable self-lubricating MML with a protective effect was formed between the wear interfaces,which reduced the friction coefficient.With the increase in load,the wear mechanism changed from abrasive and oxidation wear to delamination,fatigue and oxidation wear. | Zhanyong Zhao Lizheng Zhang Peikang Bai Wenbo Du Shaowei Wang Xiangyan Xu Qingnan Dong Yuxin Li Bing Han | 2021 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021，34，10： | 5 |

| 10 | A 14b 250MSps Pipelined ADC with Digital Self-calibration in 0.18μm CMOS Process显示文摘A 14-bit pipelined Analog-to-digital converter(ADC) with a single-side digital self-calibration in a 0.18μm CMOS process is presented. The single-side foreground digital self-calibration is introduced to reduce the nonlinearity caused by capacitor mismatches. The ADC has a front-end Sample-and-hold(SH) circuit, followed by 13 1.5 bit/stage sub-ADC and 2 bit flash ADC at last. Test results show that, with a 140 MHz input and 200 MHz sampling rate, the SIAND is improved from 59 dB to 66 dB and SFDR is improved from 62 dBc to 82 dBc with the digital calibration. The measured SFDR reaches 77 dBc even at 250 MSps after calibration. | 11 | Transient deformation during the Milashan Tunnel construction in northern Sangri-Cuona Rift,southern Tibet,China observed by Sentinel-1 satellites显示文摘Using 3-year Sentinel-1 C-band synthetic aperture radar(SAR) data, we observed prominent ground subsidence around the construction site of the Milashan Tunnel, which is on top of the northern SangriCuona Rift(SCR) in southern Tibet. The most deformed area extends ~7 km in the north-south direction and ~6 km in the east-west direction, with a peak subsidence rate of over 10 mm/a in the line of sight direction of both the descending and ascending satellites. Aside from the long-term ground subsidence arising directly from underground water outflow and rock excavation, a regional aseismic fault slip episode is also evident. The aseismic slip event began in May 2016 and ended in July 2016. The surface aseismic displacements can be explained by normal faulting with mainly down-dip movement and a modest right-lateral strike-slip component on a nearly north-south trending fault. | 15 | Factors associated with potentially inappropriate prescriptions and barriers to medicines optimisation among older adults in primary care settings:a systematic review显示文摘Objective To identify factors that likely contribute to potentially inappropriate prescriptions(PIPs)among older adults in primary care settings,as well as barriers to medicines optimisation and recommended potential solutions.Design Systematic review.Eligibility criteria Quantitative studies that analysed the factors associated with PIPs among older adults(≥65 years)in primary care settings,and qualitative studies that explored perceived barriers and potential solutions to medicines optimisation for this population.Information sources PubMed,EMBASE,Scopus,CINAHL,PsycINFO,Web of Science,CNKI and Wanfang.Results Of the 13167 studies identified,50 were included(14 qualitative,34 cross-sectional and 2 cohort).Nearly all quantitative studies examined patient-related non-clinical factors(eg,age)and clinical factors(eg,number of medications)and nine studies examined prescriber-related factors(eg,physician age).A greater number of medications were identified as positively associated with PIPs in 25 quantitative studies,and a higher number of comorbidities,physical comorbidities and psychiatric comorbidities were identified as patient-related clinical risk factors for PIPs.However,other factors showed inconsistent associations with the PIPs.Barriers to medicines optimisation emerged within four analytical themes:prescriber related(eg,inadequate knowledge,concerns of adverse consequences,clinical inertia,lack of communication),patient related(eg,limited understanding,patient non-adherence,drug dependency),environment related(eg,lack of integrated care,insufficient investment,time constraints)and technology related(eg,complexity of implementation and inapplicable guidance).Recommended potential solutions were based on each theme of the barriers identified accordingly(eg,prescriber-related factors:incorporating training courses into continuing medical education).Conclusions Older adults with more drugs prescribed and comorbidities may have a greater risk of receiving PIPs in the primary care setting,but it remains unclear whether other factors are related.Barriers to medicines optimisation among primary care older adults comprise multiple factors,and evidence-based and targeted interventions are needed to address these difficulties.PROSPERO registration number CRD42020216258. | Zhijie Xu Xujian Liang Yue Zhu Yiting Lu Yuanqu Ye Lizheng Fang Yi Qian | 2021 | Family Medicine and Community Health2021，9，4： | 1 |
