1Water blocking effect caused by the use of hydraulic methods for permeability enhancement in coal seams and methods for its removal显示文摘To research techniques for removing the water blocking effect caused by hydraulic applications in coal seams,the use of surfactants is proposed,based on the mechanics of the water blocking effect.Centrifugal experiments were used to validate the effects of using surfactants;the results show that after dealing with vacuum saturation with water,the volume of micropores decreases,which results in a larger average pore size,and the volume of transitional pores,mesopores,macropores and total pores increases.Based on the distribution of pore size,the operation mode of ‘‘water infusion after gas extraction,then continuing gas extraction' is recommended to improve the volume of coal mine gas drainage.When the reflectance of vitrinite in coal samples is less than 1,using the surfactants Fast T,1631,APG,BS can mitigate the damage caused by the water blocking effect.But when the reflectance of vitrinite is larger than 1.4,the damage caused by the water blocking effect can be increased.When the surfactant CMC is used in hydraulic applications,the capillary forces of coal samples are almost negative,which means the capillary force is in the same direction as the gas extraction.The direction of capillary forces benefits the gas flow.So,using CMC can play an active role in removing the water blocking effect.Centrifugal experiments confirm that using CMC can effectively remove the water blocking effect,which has a beneficial effect on improving the gas drainage volume.Liu Qian Guo Yusen An Fenghua Lin Luyao Lai Yongming 2016International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,4:8
2Whole genome sequencing of 10K patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack: design, methods and baseline patient characteristics显示文摘Background and purpose Stroke is the second leading cause of death worldwide and the leading cause of mortality and long-term disability in China,but its underlying risk genes and pathways are far from being comprehensively understood.We here describe the design and methods of whole genome sequencing(WGS)for 10914 patients with acute ischaemic stroke or transient ischaemic attack from the Third China National Stroke Registry(CNSR-III).Methods Baseline clinical characteristics of the included patients in this study were reported.DNA was extracted from white blood cells of participants.Libraries are constructed using qualified DNA,and WGS is conducted on BGISEQ-500 platform.The average depth is intended to be greater than 30×for each subject.Afterwards,Sentieon software is applied to process the sequencing data under the Genome Analysis Toolkit best practice guidance to call genotypes of single nucleotide variants(SNVs)and insertion-deletions.For each included subject,21 fingerprint SNVs are genotyped by MassARRAY assays to verify that DNA sample and sequencing data originate from the same individual.The copy number variations and structural variations are also called for each patient.All of the genetic variants are annotated and predicted by bioinformatics software or by reviewing public databases.Results The average age of the included 10914 patients was 62.2±11.3 years,and 31.4%patients were women.Most of the baseline clinical characteristics of the 10914 and the excluded patients were balanced.Conclusions The WGS data together with abundant clinical and imaging data of CNSR-III could provide opportunity to elucidate the molecular mechanisms and discover novel therapeutic targets for stroke.Si Cheng Zhe Xu Yang Liu Jinxi Lin Yong Jiang Yilong Wang Xia Meng Anxin Wang Xinying Huang Zhimin Wang Guohua Chen Songdi Wu Zhengchang Jia Yongming Chen Xuerong Qiu Jun Wu Binbin Song Weizhong Ji Zhongping An Wenjun Xue Lili Zhao Yu Geng Hongyan Li Hao Li Yongjun Wang 2021Stroke & Vascular Neurology2021,6,2:8
3Studies on the Effects of the Immunosuppressant FK-506 on the High-risk Corneal Graft Rejection显示文摘Purpose: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of FK-506 on suppressing high-risk cornea transplantation rejection.Methods: In a randomized controlled clinical trial, 56 eyes of 56 patients with high-risk keratoplasty (including total corneal transplantation TCT, total corneal transplantation with circular lamellar sclera CST, vascularization corneal transplantation and corneal retransplantation) were divided into the experimental group and the control group(each with 28 eyes).The experimental group was treated by FK-506 eyedrops (0.5 mg/ml) and TobraDex eyedrops, compared with the control group that was treated by 1% CsA eyedrops and TobraDex eyedrops. In the average 8.1-month follow-up period, the visual acuity, graft transparent duration and Rejection Index (RI) of grafts were observed. 8Experimental investigation of the effects of shrub filter strips on debris flow trapping and interception显示文摘Ecological engineering plays an increasingly significant role in mountain hazard control,but the effect of species selection and arrangement(e.g.,row spacing and stem spacing)on debris flow suppression is still unclear.To further understand the interception efficiency of shrub arrangement parameters on debris flow and explore the difference with slow hydraulic erosion,sixteen sets of small-scale flume experiments with different stem and row spacings were done to study the effects of shrubs on debris flow severity,flow rate,velocity,and particle size.The results suggest that,for a dilute debris flow,sediment interception effectiveness(27.4%-60.9%)decreases gradually as stem spacing increases.Moreover,as row spacing increases,flow velocity reduction(34.4%-44.9%)and flow reduction(18.5%-47.4%)gradually decrease;and the bulk density reduction(0.5%-5.3%)and sediment interception increase initially and then decrease.In contrast,for a viscous debris flow,the flow reduction,flow velocity reduction,and sedimentation interception decrease gradually as the stem spacing increases.As row spacing increases,the flow velocity reduction,flow reduction,and sediment interception all increase initially and then decrease.A formula for the flow velocity of dilute debris flow after the filter strip was derived based on the energy conservation law and Bernoulli’s equation,confirming that debris flow movement is closely related to the degree of vegetation cover.This research strengthens the current understanding of the effectiveness of vegetation in debris flow disaster prevention and control and can guide practical applications.Songtang He Wenle Chen Daojie Wang Xiaoqing Chen Yuchao Qi Peng Zhao Yong Li Yongming Lin Ali Akbar Jamali 2023International Journal of Sediment Research2023,38,2:1

10Protective effects of combined Astragalus membranaceus and magnesium ions on global brain ischemia显示文摘The traditional Chinese herb Astragalus membranaceus is a well-known treatment for neurological diseases and is considered to exhibit anti-dementia properties.This study investigated the synergistic effects of magnesium ions and Astragalus membranaceus on global brain ischemia in rats.4'-6-diamidino-2-phenylindole staining demonstrated that the number of living neurons was significantly greater in the rat hippocampus after administration of a combination of Astragalus membranaceus and magnesium,compared with a vehicle group,an Astragalus membranaceus alone group,and a magnesium alone group.Western blot assay revealed that cleaved Caspase-3 protein expression was significantly reduced in the rat hippocampus in the combined Astragalus membranaceus and magnesium group compared with the Astragalus membranaceus alone group and the magnesium alone group.The results suggested that the combination of Astragalus membranaceus and magnesium exhibits a stronger neuroprotective effect on global brain ischemia in rats compared with Astragalus membranaceus or magnesium alone.This effect was associated with decreased Caspase-3 expression.Yifeng Miao Bing Li Yuchang Lin Xiaojie Lu Bin Wu Yongming Qiu 2011Neural Regeneration Research2011,6,15:1
11Enhanced dielectric,ferroelectric,and optical properties in rare earth elements doped PMN-PT thin films显示文摘Rare earth(RE=La^(3+),Sm^(3+),Pr^(3+))ion doped Pb(Mgi/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTi03(RE-PMN-PT)ferroelectric thin films with compositions near the morphotropic phase boundary were grown on the Pt/TiO_(2)/S i02/Si(100)substrate using sol-gel/spin coating method.The phase structure,electrical properties,and photoluminescence performance of thin films were investigated systematically.The highly(100)-preferred orientation was obtained in pure perovskite Sm-PMN-0.30PT thin films with an average grain size of 131 nm.After 2.5%Sm^(3+)doping,the PMN-0.30PT thin films exhibited a triple enhancement of dielectric permittivity with a maximum value of 3500 at 1 kHz,a low dielectric loss of 1.3%,and high remanent polarization of 17.5μC/cm^(2)at room temperature.In visible light and near-infrared band,the transmittance rate increased with PT content and showed the highest value of 85%in 2.5%Sm-PMN-0.31PT.In addition,the films presented strong red-orange emission at 599 nm,which was sensitively in temperature range of 248-273 K corresponding to the rhombohedral to monoclinic phase transition temperature.Shun ZHOU Dabin LIN Yongming SU Lin ZHANG Weiguo LIU 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,1:1

15A Li_(3)P nanoparticle dispersion strengthened ultrathin Li metal electrode for high energy density rechargeable batteries显示文摘Achievement of lithium(Li)metal anode with thin thickness(e.g.,≤30µm)is highly desirable for rechargeable high energy density batteries.However,the fabrication and application of such thin Li metal foil electrode remain challenging due to the poor mechanical processibility and inferior electrochemical performance of metallic Li.Here,mechanico-chemical synthesis of robust ultrathin Li/Li_(3)P(LLP)composite foils(~15µm)is demonstrated by employing repeated mechanical rolling/stacking operations using red P and metallic Li as raw materials.The in-situ formed Li+-conductive Li_(3)P nanoparticles in metallic Li matrix and their tight bonding strengthen the mechanical durability and enable the successful fabrication of free-standing ultrathin Li metal composite foil.Besides,it also reduces the electrochemical Li nucleation barrier and homogenizes Li plating/stripping behavior.When matching to high-voltage LiCoO_(2),the full cell with a low negative/positive(N/P)capacity ratio of~1.5 offers a high energy density of~522 W·h·kg^(-1) at 0.5 C based on the mass of cathode and anode.Taking into account its facile manufacturing,potentially low cost,and good electrochemical performance,we believe that such an ultrathin composite Li metal foil design with nanoparticle-dispersion-strengthened mechanism may boost the development of high energy density Li metal batteries.Lin Fu Xiancheng Wang Bao Zhang Zihe Chen Yuanjian Li Yongming Sun 2024Nano Research2024,17,5:0

17Effect of Topical FK506 Used alone or Combined with Keratoplasty on Patients with Recurrent Mooren′s Corneal Ulcer显示文摘Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy of topical 0.1% FK506 used alone or combined with keratoplasty on patients with recurrent Mooren′s ulcer. Methods: This is a retrospective interventional consecutive case series. Nine patients (15 eyes) with recurrent Mooren′s ulcer were treated with topical 0.1% FK506 alone or combined with keratoplasty. Two eyes with ulcers involving less than half the corneal limbus were treated with topical 0.1% FK506. Of the other 13 eyes with ulcers involving more than half the limbus, twelve were treated with excision of the ulcer and adjacent conjunctiva combined with lamellar keratoplasty. One eye with a central impending corneal perforation was treated with penetrating keratoplasty.Topical 0.1% FK506 was given post-operatively to all thirteen eyes after re-epithelia-lisation of the cornea. FK506 levels in the surgically resected cornea and conjunctiva of the operated eyes were measured using enzyme immunoassay procedures. Twelve patients (17 eyes) with recurrent Mooren′s ulcer treated with lamellar keratoplasty combined with topical 0.1% dexamethasone were taken as the control. The main measure of the outcome was the recurrence of Mooren′s ulcer in the patients. Results: Nine patients (15 eyes) with recurrent Mooren′s ulcer were all successfully treated. Vision in 5 eyes improved by two lines or better after treatment. No recurrence was observed during the follow up period of 12 to 22 months. After topical application of 0.1% FK506, concentrations of 30~350 ng/g of FK506 were found in the cornea and conjunctiva. Seven eyes of Mooren′s ulcer in the control group recurred during the follow up period. This paper reviewed general occurrence situation of wheat scab in eastern Jiangsu,and summarized its occurrence characteristics in last decade. The disease prevalence was elaborated from the aspects of fungal source quantity,climatic conditions,cultivation modes,variety resistance and pesticide resistance. 19Pulsed laser deposition of amorphous InGaZnO_(4)as an electron transport layer for perovskite solar cells显示文摘Hybrid perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have been intensively studied in recent years because of their high efficiency and low costs.For PSCs,the electron transport layer(ETL)is a key for its photoelectric conversion efficiency.Here we demonstrate the application of amorphous InGaZnO_(4)thin films as ETL for efficient PSCs by pulsed laser deposition(PLD).The PSC device using such InGaZnO_(4)amorphous film as ETL has achieved an efficiency of 15.1%.The outstanding performance is attributed to the excellent properties of amorphous InGaZnO_(4)oxide thin films,including high electron mobility and high transparency,what is more,the electronic properties of the films can be controlled by changing the partial pressure of oxygen in the deposition chamber and post-deposition annealing process.Our result will be helpful for preparation of large area PSCs and other opto-electric devices at low temperature by physical vapor deposition method.Shanming Ke Bukui Du Zhenggang Rao Chun Huang Peng Lin Yongming Hu Longlong Shu 2019Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2019,9,5:0
