1Simple synthesis of sandwich-like SnSe2/rGO as high initial coulombic efficiency and high stability anode for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Metal selenides owing to their high theoretical capacity and good conductivity are considered as one of the potential candidates for the anode materials of sodium-ion batteries(SIBs).However,their practical applications are greatly restricted by the poor cycling performances and complicated synthesis methods.In this work,a sandwich-like Sn Se2/reduced graphene oxide(r GO)composite with a small amount of r GO(7.3%)is synthesized by a simple one-pot solvothermal technique.The as-synthesized Sn Se2/r GO shows improved initial coulombic efficiency(ICE)of 73.7%,high capacity of 402.0 m Ah g-1 after 150 cycles at 0.1 A g-1 with a retention of 86.2%and outstanding rate performances.The abundant Sn-O-C bonds of synthesized material not only accelerate the charge transfer at the interface but also enhance the mechanical strength to accommodate volume variation and prevent active material loss during cycling.Moreover,the compact structure leads to thin solid electrolyte interface(SEI)so that high initial coulombic efficiency was obtained.Furthermore,full cells are assembled to test its potential application.This work offers a simple method to synthesize Sn Se2/r GO as a candidate anode for SIBs.Tingting Wang Kaiwei Yang Juan Shi Shangrui Zhou Liwei Mi Hongping Li Weihua Chen 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,7:4
2Electrochemical characterization and microstructure of cold sprayed AA5083/Al_(2)O_(3) composite coatings显示文摘This work focused on the role of Al_(2)O_(3) particles in the corrosion behavior of cold sprayed AA5083 aluminum alloy matrix composite(Al-MMC)coatings.The electrochemical characterization of the coatings was investigated in a 3.5 wt.%NaCl solution as a function of time.The results show that fragmentation of Al_(2)O_(3) particles is not clearly observed in the case of AA5083/20 vol.%Al_(2)O_(3) coating,while the broken Al_(2)O_(3) particles can be seen clearly in AA5083/40 vol.%Al_(2)O_(3) and AA5083/60 vol.%Al_(2)O_(3) coatings.The addition of 20 vol.%Al_(2)O_(3) particles yield the coating with the lowest porosity,and different volume fractions of Al_(2)O_(3)in the feedstock have important effects on the electrochemical behavior of composite coatings.The Al-MMC coating reinforced with 20 vol.%Al_(2)O_(3) particles exhibits the highest Ecorrand the lowest icorrcompared with the other conditions.The order of current density is as follows:AA5083/20vol.%Al_(2)O_(3)Xiawei Yang Wenya Li Siqi Yu Yaxin Xu Kaiwei Hu Yaobang Zhao 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,59,24:3
3Biophysical studies of the interaction between a triazole derivative and bovine serum albumin by multi-spectroscopic and molecular modeling methods显示文摘The interaction between 3-thiol-4-(2,4-dichlorobenzylideneamino)-5-methyl-4H-1,2,4-triazole (CBTZ) and bovine serum albumin (BSA) under physiological conditions was investigated by fluorescence,UV-vis absorption and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy as well as molecular modeling methods. The result of fluorescence experiment indicates the static quenching as a result of the formation of the CBTZ-BSA complex. The binding constants (Ka) at different temperatures were calculated according to the modified Stern-Volmer equation. The enthalpy change (-H) and entropy change (-S) were determined based on the van′t Hoff equation. Both negative-H and-S indicated that van der Waals and hydrogen-bonding forces were the dominant intermolecular forces to stabilize the CBTZ-BSA complex. Site marker competitive replacement experiments demonstrated that binding of CBTZ to BSA primarily took place in sub-domain IIA (Sudlow's site I). The binding distance (r = 7.2 nm) between CBTZ and the tryptophan residue of BSA was estimated according to the theory of fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET). The conformational studies by circular dichroism (CD) and three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy showed that the presence of CBTZ induced minor changes of the secondary structure of BSA. 7Thermally drawn multifunctional fibers: Toward the next generation of information technology显示文摘As the fundamental building block of optical fiber communication technology,thermally drawn optical fibers have fueled the development and prosperity of modern information society.However,the conventional step-index configured silica optical fibers have scarcely altered since their invention.In recent years,thermally drawn multifunctional fibers have emerged as a new yet promising route to enable unprecedented development in information technology.By adopting the well-developed preform-to-fiber manufacturing technique,a broad range of functional materials can be seamlessly integrated into a single fiber on a kilometer length scale to deliver sophisticated functions.Functions such as photodetection,imaging,acoustoelectric detection,chemical sensing,tactile sensing,biological probing,energy harvesting and storage,data storage,program operation,and information processing on fiber devices.In addition to the original light-guiding function,these flexible fibers can be woven into fab-rics to achieve large-scale personal health monitoring and interpersonal com-munication.Thermally drawn multifunctional fibers have opened up a new stage for the next generation of information technology.This review article summarizes an overview of the basic concepts,fabrication processes,and developments of multifunctional fibers.It also highlights the significant pro-gress and future development in information applications.Yanan Shen Zhe Wang hixun Wang Jiajia Wang Xiao Yang Xinghua Zheng Haisheng Chen Kaiwei Li Lei Wei Ting Zhang 2022InfoMat2022,4,7:0
8In situ plasmonic&electrochemical fiber-optic sensor for multi-metal-ions detection显示文摘High precision and high throughput detection of heavy metal ions is essential for water quality monitoring and assessment.Herein,we propose a plasmonic&electrochemical dual-mode fiber sensing probe for label-free and real-time detection of multiple ions(Pb^(2+)and Cu^(2+)as examples).This sensor comprises a multimode fiber-single mode fiber reflection probe,the outer surface of which is coated with a gold nanofilm to excite the surface plasmon resonance(SPR)optically and simultaneously serves as an electrochemical working electrode.In traditional electrochemical detection,the enrichment of ions cannot be detected in real-time.However,by utilizing the plasmonic&electrochemical dual-mode detection method,various kinds of metal ions can be deposited onto the gold nanofilm and selectively oxidized during forward potential scanning,and the entire electrochemical process can be monitored by SPR measurement.We experimentally demonstrate that the sensor can simultaneously detect Pb^(2+)and Cu^(2+)in a mixed solution in real-time,providing a linear response over the ion concentration range from 10^(-12)to 10^(-7)M and offering an excellent detection limit(1.69×10^(-14)–5.49×10^(-13)M).The proposed dual-mode fiber sensor has the benefits of remote sensing,compact footprint,and cost-effectiveness and shows excellent potential for water quality risk management in difficult-to-reach environments.Xiaoling PENG Zhiyong YANG Bo PENG Zhi LI Zhicong REN Xicheng WANG Jiahai LI Zhencheng LI Liang CHEN Daotong YOU Kaiwei LI Jianqing LI Tuan GUO 2024Science China(Information Sciences)2024,67,1:0

10Clinical Observation of Self-made Four-step Tendon Regulating Manipulation in the Treatment of 30 Cases of Thumb Stenotic Tenosynovitis显示文摘[Objectives] To observe the effectiveness of four-step tendon manipulation in the treatment of thumb stenotic tenosynovitis, under the guidance of 'tendon first' theory. [Methods] 30 patients with stenotic tenosynovitis of thumb were treated with four-step tendon manipulation and traditional manipulation respectively, 3 times a week, a total of two weeks. The clinical efficacy, changes of visual analogue scale (VAS) and the recurrence rate after 15 d of follow-up treatment were observed before and after treatment. The differences were statistically significant ( P <0.05). [Results] After treatment, the VAS and the recurrence rate after 15 d of treatment in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group ( P <0.05). After treatment, the total effective rate was 73.33% in the control group and 93.33% in the observation group ( P <0.05). [Conclusions] The effect of four-step tendon regulating manipulation in the treatment of thumb stenotic tenosynovitis is ideal. 11Contact pattern,current immune barrier,and pathogen virulence determines the optimal strategy of further vaccination显示文摘Background:The current outbreak of novel coronavirus disease 2019 has caused a seriousdisease burden worldwide.Vaccines are an important factor to sustain the epidemic.Although with a relatively high-vaccination worldwide,the decay of vaccine efficacy andthe arising of new variants lead us to the challenge of maintaining a sufficient immunebarrier to protect the population.Method:A case-contact tracking data in Hunan,China,is used to estimate the contactpattern of cases for scenarios including school,workspace,etc,rather than ordinary susceptible population.Based on the estimated vaccine coverage and efficacy,a multi-groupvaccinated-exposed-presymptomatic-symptomatic-asymptomatic-removed model(VEFIAR)with 8 age groups,with each partitioned into 4 vaccination status groups isdeveloped.The optimal dose-wise vaccinating strategy is optimized based on the currentlyestimated immunity barrier of coverage and efficacy,using the greedy algorithm thatminimizes the cumulative cases,population size of hospitalization and fatality respectivelyin a certain future interval.Parameters of Delta and Omicron variants are used respectivelyin the optimization.Results:The estimated contact matrices of cases showed a concentration on middle ages,and has compatible magnitudes compared to estimations from contact surveys in otherstudies.The VEFIAR model is numerically stable.The optimal controled vaccination strategy requires immediate vaccination on the un-vaccinated high-contact population of age30e39 to reduce the cumulative cases,and is stable with different basic reproductionnumbers(R_(0)).As for minimizing hospitalization and fatality,the optimized strategy requires vaccination on the un-vaccinated of both aged 30e39 of high contact frequencyand the vulnerable older.Conclusion:The objective of reducing transmission requires vaccination in age groups ofthe highest contact frequency,with more priority for un-vaccinated than un-fully or fullyvaccinated.The objective of reducing total hospitalization and fatality requires not only toreduce transmission but also to protect the vulnerable older.The priority changes byvaccination progress.For any region,if the local contact pattern is available,then with thevaccination coverage,efficacy,and disease characteristics of relative risks in heterogeneouspopulations,the optimal dose-wise vaccinating process will be obtained and gives hintsfor decision-making.Xiaohao Guo Ziyan Liu Shiting Yang Zeyu Zhao Yichao Guo Guzainuer Abudurusuli Shanlu Zhao Ge Zeng Shixiong Hu Kaiwei Luo Tianmu Chen 2023Infectious Disease Modelling2023,8,1:0
12A follow up study of cycle threshold values of SARS-CoV-2 in Hunan Province,China显示文摘Since the epidemic of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-COV-2),many governments have used reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)to detect the virus.However,there are fewer measures of CT values information based on RT-PCR results,and the relationship between CT values and factors from consecutive tests is not clear enough.So in this study,we analyzed the connection between CT values and the factors based on cohort data from Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2 in Hunan Province.Previous studies have showed that the mean age of the cases was 33.34 years(±18.72 years),with a female predominance(55.03%,n=71),and the greatest proportion of clinical symptoms were of the common type(60.47%,n=78).There were statistical differences between the N and ORF1ab genes in the CT values for the cases.Based on the analysis of the association between CT values and the factors,the lowest CT values were obtained for the unvaccinated,older and clinically symptomatic group at 3e10 days,the maximum peak of viral load occurred.Therefore,it is recommended to use patient information to focus on older,clinically symptomatic,unvaccinated patients and to intervene promptly upon admission.Guzainuer Abudurusuli Kaiwei Luo Xiaohao Guo Zeyu Zhao Yichao Guo Buasiyamu Abudunaibi Shiting Yang Hongjie Wei Shanlu zhao Zhihui Dai Qianlai Sun Hao Yang Shixiong Hu Tianmu Chen 2023Infectious Disease Modelling2023,8,1:0
