2Crustal velocity structure in the Emeishan large igneous province and evidence of the Permian mantle plume activity显示文摘The Emeishan large igneous province(ELIP) in SW China is interpreted to be associated with an ancient mantle plume. Most of the constraints on the role of mantle plume in the generation of the Emeishan flood basalts were provided by geological and geochemical methods, but the geophysical investigation is very limited. In order to better understand the deep structure and features of ELIP, we have studied the crustal velocity structure using the data acquired from the Lijiang-Panzhihua-Qingzhen wide-angle seismic profile. This profile crosses the three sub-zones of the ELIP(the inner, intermediate, and outer zones), divided based on the differential erosion and uplift of the Maokou limestone. The results provided by the active source seismic experiment demonstrate:(1) The average depth of the crystalline basement along the profile is about 2 km.(2) The middle crust in the Inner Zone is characterized by high-velocity anomalies, with the average velocity of 6.2-6.6 km/s, which is about 0.1– 0.2 km/s higher than the normal one. The velocity of the lower crust in the inner zone is 6.9-7.2 km/s, higher than those observed in the intermediate and outer zones(6.7-7.0 km/s). Relatively low velocity anomalies appear in the upper, middle and lower crusts near the junction of the inner zone and intermediate zone, probably due to the effect of the Xiaojiang fault(XJF).(3) The average velocity of the crust is comparatively low on both sides of XJF, especially on the east side, and the average velocity of the consolidated continental crust is also low there. This may suggest that the XJF extends at least down to 40 km deep, even beyond through the crust.(4) The depth to the Moho discontinuity decrease gradually from 47-53 km in the inner zone, via 42-50 km in the intermediate zone to 38-42 km in the outer zone. In the inner zone, the Moho uplifts locally and the(consolidated) crust is characterized by high-velocity anomalies, which are likely related to intensive magma intrusion and underplating associated with melting of plume head. 4Policy Analysis and Development Evaluation of Digital Trade:An International Comparison显示文摘As an extension of traditional trade,digital trade is a new type of trade in the era of the digital economy.In this paper,we first analyze the digital trade-related strategies of eight leading economies through word clouds and dissect China s digital trade-related policies using the word frequency method by sorting through the digital trade-related policy documents of 26 economies and Chinese provinces.We then evaluate the status quo of digital trade development in 111 countries and Chinese provinces by building a digital trade index system to determine the development environment and market potential.The results show that all countries attach great importance to digital technology,data and government guidance in the development of digital trade.The results also reveal that'development,''service'and'construction'are the three most frequently used words in various Chinese documents.The overall level of China s digital trade is at the global vanguard,but is characterized by uneven regional development.In the era of digital trade,traditional international trade theory is also in urgent need of breakthroughs and innovation.Shuzhong Ma Jiwen Guo Hongsheng Zhang 2019China & World Economy2019,27,3:29

7Drug nanoclusters formed in confined nano-cages of CD-MOF: dramatic enhancement of solubility and bioavailability of azilsartan显示文摘Tremendous efforts have been devoted to the enhancement of drug solubility using nanotechnologies, but few of them are capable to produce drug particles with sizes less than a few nanometers. This challenge has been addressed here by using biocompatible versatile γ-cyclodextrin(γ-CD) metal-organic framework(CD-MOF) large molecular cages in which azilsartan(AZL) was successfully confined producing clusters in the nanometer range. This strategy allowed to improve the bioavailability of AZL in Sprague–Dawley rats by 9.7-fold after loading into CD-MOF. The apparent solubility of AZL/CD-MOF was enhanced by 340-fold when compared to the pure drug. Based on molecular modeling, a dual molecular mechanism of nanoclusterization and complexation of AZL inside the CD-MOF cages was proposed, which was confirmed by small angle X-ray scattering(SAXS) and synchrotron radiation-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(SR-FTIR) techniques. In a typical cage-like unit of CD-MOF, three molecules of AZL were included by the γ-CD pairs, whilst other three AZL molecules formed a nanocluster inside the 1.7 nm sized cavity surrounded by six γ-CDs. 8Original position statistic distribution analysis study of low alloy steel continuous casting billet显示文摘The homogeneity of low alloy steels continuous casting billet obtained under different technological conditions has been investigated by original position statistic distribution analysis technique. On the basis of systematic analysis of ten thousands primary optical signals at the corresponding original positions, the quantitative statistic distribution information of each element was obtained. The biggest degrees of segregation of low alloy steel continuous casting billet were calculated accurately according to the quantitative distribution maps of the contents. It was suggested that the weight ratio in a certain content range was used to judge the homogeneity of the materials, and the two models —— the total weight ratio of contents (the degree of statistic homogeneity, H) within the permissive content range (C0±R) and the median value confidence extension ratio (the degree of statistic segregation, S) at 95% of confidence limit of weight ratio —— were put forward. The two models reflect the composition and state distribution regularity of the metal materials in a large region. 10Study on crustal, lithospheric and asthenospheric thickness beneath the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its adjacent areas显示文摘Based on the results of pure dispersions of Rayleigh wave tomography in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its adjacent areas, taking S wave velocities from previous linear inversion as the initial model, us-ing the simulated annealing algorithm, a nonlinear simultaneous inversion has been carried out for S wave velocity and thickness of different layers, including the crust, the lithosphere and the astheno-sphere. The results indicate: The crustal thickness shows strong correlation with geology structures sketched by the sutures and major faults. The crust is very thick in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, varying from 60 km to 80 km. The lithospheric thickness in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is thinner (130―160 km) than its adjacent areas. And two blocks can be recognized, divided by an NNE strike boundary running between 90°E―92°E inside the plateau. Its asthenosphere is relatively thick, varies from 150 km to 230 km, and the thickest area is located in the western Qiangtang. India has a thinner crust (32―38 km), a thicker lithosphere of 190 km and a rather thin asthenosphere of only 60 km. Sichuan and Tarim basins have the crust thickness less than 50 km. Their lithospheres are thicker than the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and their asthenospheres are thinner. 12Prevalent thickening and local thinning of the mantle transition zone beneath the Baikal rift zone and its dynamic implications显示文摘The Baikal rift is the most seismically active continental rift in the world and is significant for studying the dynamics of continental rifts, although its precise dynamic mechanisms remain controversial. We calculated receiver functions (1748) from Global Seismographic Network seismic stations TLY and ULN and stacked receiver functions in different bins. Here we present discontinuities at depths of 410km and 660km and thickness of the mantle transition zone (MTZ) beneath the study area. The MTZ structure shows an obvious thickening (292km) in the Baikal rift zone except for an area of limited thinning (230km), whereas it is basically normal (250km) beneath the Mongolian area, to the southeast of the Baikal rift. Combining these results with previous findings, we propose that the large-scale thickening beneath the Baikal rift zone is likely to be caused by the Mesozoic collision between the Siberian Platform and the Mongolia-North China Block or magmatic intrusion into the lower crust, which would result in crust and lithosphere thickening. Thus, the lower crust becomes eclogitized and consequently detached into the deep mantle because of negative buoyancy. The detachment not only induces asthenosphere upwelling but also accelerates mantle convection of water detached from the subducted slab, which would increase mantle melting, while both processes promote the development of the rift. 17Synchrotron radiation-based Fourier-transform infrared spectromicroscopy for characterization of the protein/peptide distribution in single microspheres显示文摘The present study establishes a visualization method for the measurement of the distribution and localization of protein/peptide constituents within a single poly-lactide-co-glycolide(PLGA) microsphere using synchrotron radiation–based Fourier-transform infrared spectromicroscopy(SR-FTIR).The representative infrared wavenumbers specific for protein/peptide(Exenatide) and excipient(PLGA) were identified and chemical maps at the single microsphere level were generated by measuring and plotting the intensity of these specific bands.For quantitative analysis of the distribution within microspheres,Matlab software was used to transform the map file into a 3D matrix and the matrix values specific for the drug and excipient were extracted.Comparison of the normalized SR-FTIR maps of PLGA and Exenatide indicated that PLGA was uniformly distributed,while Exenatide was relatively non-uniformly distributed in the microspheres.In conclusion,SR-FTIR is a rapid,nondestructive and sensitive detection technology to provide the distribution of chemical constituents and functional groups in microparticles and microspheres.Manli Wang Xiaolong Lu Xianzhen Yin Yajun Tong Weiwei Peng Li Wu Haiyan Li Yan Yang Jingkai Gu Tiqiao Xiao Min Chen Jiwen Zhang 2015Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2015,5,3:5

Extensive mining ofthe compositional data has provided exciting new insights into marine microbial ecology from a number of perspectives.Both deterministic and stochastic processes contribute to microbial community assembly but their relative importance instructuring subcommunities, that are categorized by traits such as abundance, functional type and activity, differs. Throughcorrelation-based network analysis, significant progress has been made in unraveling microbial co-occurrence patterns anddynamics in response to environmental changes. Prediction of ecosystem functioning, based on microbial data, is receivingincreasing attention, as closely related microbes often share similar ecological traits and microbial diversity often exhibitssignificant correlations to ecosystem functioning. The ecosystem functioning is likely executed not by the whole community,but rather by an active fraction of a community, which can be inferred from the marker gene transcription level of communitymembers. Furthermore, the huge amount of microbial community data has significantly expanded the tree of lifeand illuminated microbial phylogenetic divergence and evolutionary history. 19Diversity of culturable heterotrophic bacteria from the Mariana Trench and their ability to degrade macromolecules显示文摘The Mariana Trench is the deepest location on earth and harbors unique microbial communities as evidenced by 16S rRNA gene amplicon and metagenomic sequencing.Obtaining culturable microorganisms from the Mariana Trench will contribute to a further understanding of hadal biogeochemical processes and act as a unique microbial reservoir with potential applications.Here,825 bacterial strains,identified by 16S rRNA gene sequencing,were isolated from 12 water depths(0-10,400 m)of the Mariana Trench with 2216E and R2A media at 4℃ or 28℃ on four cruises during 2015-2017.These bacteria belong to four phyla,nine classes,27 orders,45 families and 108 genera.Alphaproteobacteria,Gammaproteobacteria,Actinobacteria_c,Bacilli and Flavobacteriia were the most abundant classes,accounting for 37.9%,33.0%,11.8%,8.6%and 8.0%of the total bacterial isolates,respectively.2216E and R2A media were found to have a better selectivity to Bacilli and Flavobacteriia,respectively.Fifty strains were potential novel bacterial species with a 16S rRNA gene similarity<98.65%,and a higher percentage of novel strains were obtained from R2A than 2216E medium.Additionally,301(150 species)out of 354 strains(178 species)selected from each depth could degrade at least one of the ten kinds of macromolecules tested.These results indicate that there is a high diversity of culturable bacteria in the Mariana Trench and they can produce a variety of extracellular enzymes.Our study provides a valuable resource of microorganisms for investigating their biogeochemical roles in the Mariana Trench and for industrial applications.Xiuxiu Zhao Jiwen Liu Shun Zhou Yanfen Zheng Yanhong Wu Kazuhiro Kogure Xiao-Hua Zhang 2020Marine Life Science & Technology2020,2,2:5
20Seismic traveltime inversion of 3D velocity model with triangulated interfaces显示文摘Seismic traveltime tomographic inversion has played an important role in detecting the internal structure of the solid earth. We use a set of blocks to approximate geologically complex media that cannot be well described by layered models or cells. The geological body is described as an aggregate of arbitrarily shaped blocks,which are separated by triangulated interfaces. We can describe the media as homogenous or heterogeneous in each block. We define the velocities at the given rectangle grid points for each block,and the heterogeneous velocities in each block can be calculated by a linear interpolation algorithm. The parameters of the velocity grid positions are independent of the model parameterization,which is advantageous in the joint inversion of the velocities and the node depths of an interface. We implement a segmentally iterative ray tracer to calculate traveltimes in the 3D heterogeneous block models.The damped least squares method is employed in seismic traveltime inversion,which includes the partial derivatives of traveltime with respect to the depths of nodes in the triangulated interfaces and velocities defined in rectangular grids.
