1A surface parametric control and global optimization method for axial flow compressor blades显示文摘An aerodynamic optimization method for axial flow compressor blades available for engineering is developed in this paper. Bezier surface is adopted as parameterization method to control the suction surface of the blades, which brings the following advantages:(A) significantly reducing design variables;(B) easy to ensure the mechanical strength of rotating blades;(C) better physical understanding;(D) easy to achieve smooth surface. The Improved Artificial Bee Colony(IABC) algorithm, which significantly increases the convergence speed and global optimization ability, is adopted to find the optimal result. A new engineering optimization tool is constructed by combining the surface parametric control method, the IABC algorithm, with a verified Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD) simulation method, and it has been successfully applied in the aerodynamic optimization for a single-row transonic rotor(Rotor 37) and a single-stage transonic axialflow compressor(Stage 35). With the constraint that the relative change in the flow rate is less than0.5% and the total pressure ratio does not decrease, within the acceptable time in engineering, the adiabatic efficiency of Rotor 37 at design point increases by 1.02%, while its surge margin 0.84%,and the adiabatic efficiency of Stage 35 0.54%, while its surge margin 1.11% after optimization, to verify the effectiveness and potential in engineering of this new tool for optimization of axial compressor blade.Jinxin CHENG Jiang CHEN Hang XIANG 2019Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2019,32,7:5
2Photocatalytic degradation of bisphenol A using an integrated system of a new gas-liquid-solid circulating fluidized bed reactor and micrometer Gd-doped TiO_2 particles显示文摘A new gas-liquid-solid circulating fluidized bed photocatalytic reactor (GLSCFBPR) with internally placed multi-layered UV lamps was developed. Micrometer Gd-TiO2 particles and commercial nanometer P25-TiO2 were chosen as the photocatalysts, and the hazardous substance bisphenol A (BPA) was chosen as the model pollutant to investigate the performance of this new photocatalytic system. The results showed that the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of the micrometer Gd-TiO2 particles was similar to that of the nanometer P-25 particles at their respective optimum dosage but the former could be easily separated out by gravity. After investigating the effects of process parameters on the photocatalytic BPA degradation, the response surface method (RSM) was further used for process optimization. The interactions among process parameters, i.e., TiO2 concentration, superficial gas velocity and superficial liquid velocity were discovered and a related analysis was carried out to explore the underlying mechanism. A quadratic mathematic model was established and performed satisfactorily when used for prediction. 3Chiral phonon activated spin Seebeck effect in chiral materials显示文摘Efficient generation of spin polarization is very important for spintronics and quantum computation. In chiral materials without magnetic order nor spin-orbit coupling, we find a new spin selectivity effect—chiral phonon activated spin Seebeck(CPASS)effect. Starting with the nonequilibrium distribution of chiral phonons under a temperature gradient, the CPASS coefficients are computed based on the Boltzmann transport theory. With both the phonon-drag and band transport contributions, the spin accumulations generated by the CPASS effect exhibit quadratic dependence on the temperature gradient. The strength of the CPASS effect and the relative magnitude of both contributions are tunable by the chemical potential modulation. 6“场所空间”与“流动空间”双重视角的“大湾区”发展研究——以粤港澳大湾区为例显示文摘This paper makes a systematic analysis on the development characteristics and evolution process of the built-up areas,as well as the sub-structure of the network connectivity and the functional division,of core cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region from the dual perspectives of 'space of places' and 'space of flows.' It does so by using data of satellite remote sensing and industrial census to describe the spatial development trend and to establish an urban connectivity network based on the headquarter-branch data of enterprises.It also reveals the development differences within and outside of the Bay Area in Guangdong Province.The research shows that,firstly,since the new century,the integration of the Bay Area has become more obvious for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region,as it has developed in a highly-concentrated way around the Bay Area of the Pearl River Estuary.Secondly,Guangdong,Shenzhen,Hong Kong,and Macao exhibited a more obvious regional division of labor,and their functions have been increasingly complementary to each other.Thirdly,a regional hub of 'two sectors'–linking outside to the world city network and driving internal development of regional hinterland has been formed.Finally,based on the conclusion of the empirical research,development and planning implications of the Bay Area are discussed.张艺帅 赵民 王启轩 Cheng Yao Liu Jinxin 2020China City Planning Review2020,,2:0
7Design and Wave Propagation Characterization of Starchiral Metamaterials显示文摘Metamaterials with simple artificial topological properties made from industrially produced single-phase materials have extraordinary innovation and challenge.In this paper,we investigated wave propagation characteristics of a hexastarchiral lattice metamaterial with periodic assemblies and used the finite element(FE)method to study the band gap properties.Then,in order to understand the mechanism of band gaps,we discussed the mode shapes of unit cells and found that the bending of the ligament and the overall rotation have a high correlation with the generation of omnidirectional band gaps.The relationships bet ween geometric parameters and band gap properties have also been systematically studied,which demonstrated that the band gaps of the proposed metamaterial could be reasonably predicted through the evolution of geometric parameters.Finally,the transmission characteristics of finite sandwich panel structures composed of periodic unit cells were calculated to verify the correctness of the band gap simulation results,which proved that the proposed artificial metastructure has potential application value in vibration and noise reduction projects.Yajun Xin Han Wang Cong Wang Jinxin Yao Qian Ding Haoqiang Gao Shuliang Cheng Yongtao Sun 2022Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2022,35,2:0
8A Phased Aerodynamic Optimization Method for Compressors Based on Multi-Degrees-of-Freedom Surface Parameterization显示文摘High-fidelity aerodynamic optimization of compressors is afflicted by the'curse of dimensionality',which limits its engineering applications.This paper proposes a new multi-degrees-of-freedom(MDOF)surface parameterization method that combines the characteristics of conventional surface parameterization methods,low-dimensionality and surface smoothness,with the advantages of design flexibility and ease of construction.The proposed method is applied to the high-fidelity aerodynamic optimization of Rotor37.An optimized solution is obtained within 111 h by combining a phased optimization strategy based on the idea of modal optimization.To explore a better way of setting the control variables of the blade body,two methods of varying the control points of the suction and pressure surfaces,independent change and synchronous change,are compared.Synchronous change has better flexibility,and under the condition of satisfying the constraints,it increases the efficiency at the design point by 2.2%and the surge margin by 0.5%.This demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed method in the high-fidelity aerodynamic optimization of compressors.It also provides technical support to solve the'curse of dimensionality'problem.CHENG Jinxin YANG Chengwu ZHAO Shengfeng 2021Journal of Thermal Science2021,30,6:0
9Tuning the Corrosion Resistance,Antibacterial Activity,and Cytocompatibility by Constructing Grooves on the Surface of Ti6Al4V3Cu Alloy显示文摘Ti6Al4V3Cu alloy is a promising biomaterial for combating implant-related infection.However,the antibacterial property of Ti6Al4V3Cu is expected to be enhanced due to the low content of Cu element in titanium.To address this issue,the antibacterial property of Ti6Al4V3Cu was tailored by the grooves with different groove widths(30μm,60μm,and 90μm)that were constructed on the surface of the Ti6Al4V3Cu by selective laser melting.The effect of grooves on corrosion resistance,antibacterial property,and cytocompatibility was investigated.The electrochemical tests showed that the corrosion resistance decreased with increasing groove width.The antibacterial tests indicated that the groove with a width of 30μm and 90μm groups showed better antibacterial activity against S.aureus(>90%)compared with the groove with a width of 60μm.The in vitro study suggested that all samples with different grooves were found to exhibit good cytocompatibility with osteoblast cells.It is considered that creating grooves on Ti6Al4V3Cu by selective laser melting is a promising strategy to enhance the antibacterial activity without sacrificing cytocompatibility.Minghui Zhou Hui Sun Yanming Gan Cheng Ji Yan Chen Yanjin Lu Jinxin Lin Qiang Wang 2023Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2023,36,12:0
10An intuitive parameterization method with inherently high-order differentiability for compressor blade sections based on ellipse hierarchical deformation显示文摘Shape parameterization has a crucial influence on the optimal solution of aerodynamic optimization.This paper proposes a novel parameterization method for compressor blade sections based on the three-level deformation of the ellipse,which simultaneously satisfies the requirements of flexibility,smoothness,intuitiveness,and compactness.In proposed method,the first-level deformation directly controls nine key geometric parameters to construct the blade section profile,and then the second-and third-level deformations are performed respectively to coarsely and finely modify the profile while keeping the key geometric parameters unchanged.These three levels of deformation effectively decompose the design space without destroying the ellipse’s infinite differentiability,allowing designers to work only with intuitive shape-related parameters to design blade sections with inherently high-order continuity.To verify the effectiveness,six existing blade sections are first fitted and then one of them is selected for a three-level optimization.The results show that the geometry and aerodynamic performance of the fitted and the original blade sections are in good agreement,and the loss coefficient of the optimized blade section is reduced by a total of 36.41%,with 27.34%,8.45%,and 0.62%reductions for the first to the third level,respectively.Therefore,the proposed parameterization method facilitates the design of lower-loss and higher-load compressor blade sections.Chuanrui SI Jinxin CHENG Zhengqing ZHU Zhitong CHEN Qinglong HAO 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,8:0
