Seasonal variation of nitrogen and phosphorus in Xiaojiang River-A tributary of the Three Gorges Reservoir显示文摘A yearlong monitoring program in the backwater area of Xiaojiang River(XBA)was launched in order to investigate the eutrophication of backwater areas in tributaries of the Yangtze River in the Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR)in China, starting after the impoundment water level of the TGR reached 156 m.From March 2007 to March 2008,the average concentration of total nitrogen(TN)and total phosphorus(TP)were(1553484)μg·L^(–1)and(6231)μg·L^(–1),respectively.The mean value of chlorophyll was(9.070.91)μg·L^(–1).The trophic level of XBA was meso-eutrophic,while the general nutrient limitation was phosphorus. The results indicated that XBA has a strong ability to purify itself and has non-point source pollution from terrestrial runoff. The variation of TN/TP ratio was caused by a variation in TN rather than in TP when TN/TP<22.N-fixation from cyanobacteria occurred and became an important process in overcoming the nitrogen deficit under a low TN/TP ratio. When TN/TP≥22,the variation of TP affected the TN/TP ratio more significantly than TN.The increase of TP in XBA was caused mainly by particulate phosphorus, which could originate from a non-point source as adsorptive inorganic forms after heavy rainfall and surface runoff. An increase in the river’s flow could also contribute to an unstable environment for the growth of phytoplankton. | Zhe LI Jinsong GUO Man LONG Fang FANG Jinping SHENG Hong ZHOU | 2009 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2009,3,3: | 8
Characterization of organic matter in total suspended particles by thermodesorption and pyrolysis-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry显示文摘The organic matter in tropospheric aerosol plays an important role in atmospheric physical and chemical processes. The bulk of organic matter, representing a significant proportion of the total suspended particulate (TSP) mass, is bound to polymeric material whose structure and properties are largely unknown. Here we used thermodesorption gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (Td- GC/MS) to study organic compounds of low molecular mass and pyrolysis gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (Py-GC/MS) to characterize the chemical structure of macromolecules in TSP samples collected in different seasons from different sites in Guangzhou. n-Alkanes, fatty acids and nitriles were the predominant compounds in the thermodesorption products, whereas aromatics, fatty acids, nitriles and n-alkanes/alkenes were the major compounds in the pyrolysates. The results indicated that aromatics were main units in macromolecules. The fatty acids and nitriles formed from carboxylic ammonium salts were detected in both thermodesorption products and pyrolysates at a certain concentration, indicating the importance of these compounds in TSP formation. The TSP source mainly determined the occurrence of compounds in samples from urban, suburban and forest sites, whereas the TSP source and formation process maybe controlled the seasonal variation in compounds detected. High levels of nitriles in summer samples from suburban and forest sites coincide with the release of ammonium from the land and of fatty acids from vegetation at these sites. | ZHAO Jinping PENG Ping'an SONG Jianzhong MA Shexia SHENG Guoying FU Jiarno | 2009 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2009,21,12: | 4
Biological porous carbon encapsulated polyethylene glycol-based phase change composites for integrated electromagnetic interference shielding and thermal management capabilities显示文摘The development of functional composites with excellent thermal management capabilities and electro-magnetic interference(EMI)shielding has become extremely urgent for keeping up with the continuous improvement of the operating speed and efficiency for electronic equipment. In this study, the biolog-ical wood-derived porous carbon(WPC)was determined as the supporting material to encapsulating polyethylene glycol(PEG),and a series of WPC/PEG/Fe_(3)O_(4) phase change composites(PCCs)with excel-lent shape stability,EMI shielding and thermal management capabilities were prepared via a simple vac-uum impregnation method. The Fe_(3)O_(4) magnetic particles modified PCCs have greatly improved the EMI shielding effectiveness(SE).The EMI SE of WP-4(7.5 wt.% Fe_(3)O_(4) in PEG)can be up to 55.08 dB between 8.2−12.4 GHz,however, the WP-0 without Fe_(3)O_(4) addition is only 40.08 dB.Meanwhile, the absorption ratio of electromagnetic waves(EMW)has also increased from 75.02%(WP-0)to 85.56%(WP-4),which effectively prevents secondary pollution. In addition, after wrapping a thin layer of polydimethylsiloxane resin(PDMS),the obtained WP-4 can maintain a high heat storage capacity(109.52 J/g)and good wa-ter stability. In short, the prepared WPC/PEG/Fe_(3)O_(4) PCCs have great potential application value in the thermal management and electromagnetic shielding requirements for electronic devices. | Shuang Liu Mengjie Sheng Hao Wu Xuetao Shi Xiang Lu Jinping Qu | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,18: | 3
Rhodojaponin Ⅵ indirectly targets Cav2.2 channels via N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive fusion protein to alleviate neuropathic pain显示文摘Neuropathic pain is a chronic disease that severely afflicts the life and emotional status of patients, but currently available treatments are often ineffective.Novel therapeutic targets for the alleviation of neuropathic pain are urgently needed.Rhodojaponin Ⅵ,a grayanotoxin from Rhododendron molle, showed remarkable antinociceptive efficacy in models of neuropathic pain, but its biotargets and mechanisms are unknown.Given the reversible action of rhodojaponin Ⅵ and the narrow range over which its structure can be modified,we perforwmed thermal proteome profiling of the rat dorsal root ganglion to determine the protein target of rhodojaponin Ⅵ.N-Ethylmaleimide-sensitive fusion(NSF) was confirmed as the key target of rhodojaponin Ⅵ through biological and biophysical experiments.Functional validation showed for the first time that NSF facilitated trafficking of the Cav2.2 channel to induce an increase in Ca2+current intensity, whereas rhodojaponin Ⅵ reversed the effects of NSF.In conclusion, rhodojaponin Ⅵ represents a unique class of analgesic natural products targeting Cav2.2 channels via NSF. | Keliang Chen Tao Wang Yong Li Jun Wu Cheng-Xiao Zhao Sheng Liu Fengrun Sun Yehong Fang Jiahuan Hu Jinping Hu Chong-Jing Zhang Haibo Yu Chao Ma Shi-Shan Yu | 2023 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,3: | 2
Bayesian uncertainty analysis of SA turbulence model for supersonic jet interaction simulations显示文摘The Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes(RANS) models are still the workhorse in current engineering applications due to its high efficiency and robustness. However, the closure coefficients of RANS turbulence models are determined by model builders according to some simple fundamental flows, and the suggested values may not be applicable to complex flows, especially supersonic jet interaction flow. In this work, the Bayesian method is employed to recalibrate the closure coefficients of Spalart-Allmaras(SA) turbulence model to improve its performance in supersonic jet interaction problem and quantify the uncertainty of wall pressure and separation length. The embedded model error approach is applied to the Bayesian uncertainty analysis. Firstly, the total Sobol index is calculated by non-intrusive polynomial chaos method to represent the sensitivity of wall pressure and separation length to model parameters. Then, the pressure data and the separation length are respectively served as calibration data to get the posterior uncertainty of model parameters and Quantities of Interests(Qo Is). The results show that the relative error of the wall pressure predicted by the SA turbulence model can be reduced from 14.99% to 2.95% through effective Bayesian parameter estimation. Besides, the calibration effects of four likelihood functions are systematically evaluated. The posterior uncertainties of wall pressure and separation length estimated by different likelihood functions are significantly discrepant, and the Maximum a Posteriori(MAP) values of parameters inferred by all functions show better performance than the nominal values. Finally, the closure coefficients are also estimated at different jet total pressures. The similar posterior distributions of model parameters are obtained in different cases, and the MAP values of parameters calibrated in one case are also applicable to other cases. | Jinping LI Shusheng CHEN Fangjie CAI Sheng WANG Chao YAN | 2022 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,4: | 2
