2Bioresponsive cisplatin crosslinked albumin hydrogel served for efficient cancer combination therapy显示文摘Combination therapy is one of the potential strategies for tackling complicated tumor treatments like drug resistance.In this work,we have generated a therapeutic cisplatin-crosslinked albumin hydrogel(BC-Gel)that allows the local release of L-Buthionine-sulfoximine(BSO),cisplatin,and glucose oxidase(GOx)with distinct release kinetics.The BC-Gel with favorable biostimuli degradability and injectability could release therapeutic agents in a programmed manner within the tumor microenvironment(TME).The preferentially released BSO significantly suppressed the glutathione(GSH)-related cisplatin resistance and sensitized the tumor cells to cisplatin by inhibiting theγ-glutamylcysteine synthetase.Meanwhile,cisplatin achieved a sequential release and long-term treatment following the bioresponsive gel degradation under the combined action of chloride ions(Cl−)and proteinase in the body.In addition,the overproduced H_(2)O_(2)of GOx-catalyzed glucose oxidation accelerated the depletion of existed GSH within cells and further weakened the cisplatin resistance,achieving enhanced tumor treatment together with a strong cell-killing effect.The above sequential drug release strategy based on the dual GSH depletion effect breaks the balance of the GSH-mediated redox TME and enhances the sensitivity of A549 cells to cisplatin forcefully,and provides a promising way for temporal control of drug release as well as efficient cancer combination therapy.An Yan Zherui Zhang Jiamei Gu Xiaoran Ding Yongchen Chen Jingjing Du Shu Wei Hongcheng Sun Jiayun Xu Shuangjiang Yu Junqiu Liu 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:1

5The ABA-induced NAC transcription factor MdNAC1 interacts with a bZIP-type transcription factor to promote anthocyanin synthesis in red-fleshed apples显示文摘Anthocyanins are valuable compounds in red-fleshed apples.The MdMYB10 transcription factor is an important regulator of the anthocyanin synthesis pathway.However,other transcription factors are key components of the complex network controlling anthocyanin synthesis and should be more thoroughly characterized.In this study,we used a yeast-based screening technology to identify MdNAC1 as a transcription factor that positively regulates anthocyanin synthesis.The overexpression of MdNAC1 in apple fruits and calli significantly promoted the accumulation of anthocyanins.In binding experiments,we demonstrated that MdNAC1 combines with the bZIP-type transcription factor MdbZIP23 to activate the transcription of MdMYB10 and MdUFGT.Our analyses also indicated that the expression of MdNAC1 is strongly induced by ABA because of the presence of an ABRE cis-acting element in its promoter.Additionally,the accumulation of anthocyanins in apple calli co-transformed with MdNAC1 and MdbZIP23 increased in the presence of ABA.Therefore,we revealed a novel anthocyanin synthesis mechanism involving the ABA-induced transcription factor MdNAC1 in red-fleshed apples.Wenjun Liu Zhuoxin Mei Lei Yu Tingting Gu Zhiqiang Li Qi Zou Shuhui Zhang Hongcheng Fang Yicheng Wang Zongying Zhang Xuesen Chen Nan Wang 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,5:0
6A novel conceptual design of a biomimetic oral implant and its biomechanical effect on the repairment of a large mandibular defect显示文摘This study aimed to propose a novel biomimetic design strategy of an oral implant and to numerically examine its biomechanical effect according to clinical interests.The designed implant conceptually mimicked the morphology and elastic modulus of the mandibular bone.Basing on a CT-image-based patient-specific reconstruction of the tumor-excised mandible,the biomechanical effects of the implants with three materials(PEEK/n-HA/CF,PEEK/HA and Ti6Al4V),two surgical conditions(removed and retained muscles),and two postoperative stages(early and late)were fully investigated by a static finite element analysis.Moreover,according to clinical interests(e.g.failure and stability of the implant and rivets),maximum von Mises stresses and strains of the implant and rivets,maximum implant-bone gap in the early postoperative stage,and maximum von Mises stress of the mandible were mainly analyzed.The results showed that the implant composed of Ti6Al4V material was suitable for the current design strategy with respect to the other two PEEK-based materials.Although the implants in the muscle-retained surgical condition had relative greater indices compared to the muscle-removed surgical condition,the index difference between the two conditions was slight.The biomechanical indices indicating the failure and loosening risks of implant and rivets were much reduced in the late postoperative stage with respect to the early postoperative stage due to the osteointegration at the implant-bone interface.Generally,the proposed novel design strategy could be useful to guide the design of the oral implant addressing different implant materials and surgical conditions,and further made proper suggestion to clinicians and patients.Yongheng Li Yuanbin Hu Heming Chen Xiangfeng Meng Du Chen Hongcheng Gu Qiang Chen Zhongde Mu Zhiyong Li 2022Medicine in Novel Technology and Devices2022,,3:0
7CC@BCN@PANI core-shell nanoarrays as ultra-high cycle stability cathode for Zn-ion hybrid supercapacitors显示文摘Exploring cathode materials that combine excellent cycling stability and high energy density poses a challenge to aqueous Zn-ion hybrid supercapacitors(ZHSCs).Herein,polyaniline(PANI)coated boron-carbon-nitrogen(BCN)nanoarray on carbon cloth surface is prepared as advanced cathode materials via simple high-temperature calcination and electrochemical deposition methods.Because of the excellent specific capacity and conductivity of PANI,the CC@BCN@PANI core-shell nanoarrays cathode shows an excellent ion storage capability.Moreover,the 3D nanoarray structure can provide enough space for the volume expansion and contraction of PANI in the charging/discharging cycles,which effectively avoids the collapse of the microstructure and greatly improves the electrochemical stability of PANI.Therefore,the CC@BCN@PANI-based ZHSCs exhibit superior electrochemical performances showing a specific capacity of 145.8 mAh/g,a high energy density of 116.78 Wh/kg,an excellent power density of 12 kW/kg,and a capacity retention rate of 86.2%after 8000 charge/discharge cycles at a current density of 2 A/g.In addition,the flexible ZHSCs(FZHSCs)also show a capacity retention rate of 87.7%at the current density of 2 A/g after 450 cycles.Shixian XIONG Hongcheng KE Lei CAO Yu WANG Qian ZHU Liqin ZHONG Lanlan FAN Feng GU 2023Frontiers in Energy2023,17,4:0
