| 2 | Liquid-like adsorbent assembled by CNTs: Serving as renewable CO_(2) capture materials for indoor air显示文摘In this study,a CO_(2) capture material in the form of liquid-like adsorbents(LLAs) is developed to overcome the limitations of conventional types of adsorbents.The increase in indoor activities necessitates the capture of CO_(2) in enclosed indoor spaces.Indoor spaces require safe and stable materials for CO_(2) capture because humans are present in these spaces.Solid adsorbents are mainly used because liquid absorbents are unsuitable owing to noise and scattering problems.In LLA,the liquid absorbent assembled by carbon nanotubes(CNTs) is solidified and prevented from flowing and scattering indoor.LLAs present to maintain 95% of initial capacity after recycling 20 times,and have characteristics that can be regenerated in a low temperature heat source(80 to 120℃) and moisture resistance.This work not only provides indoor useable CO_(2) capture materials,but also offers a new prospect in the field of adsorbents. | Jae Won Lee Minjae Kim Han Sol Jung Ronghuan Xu Seonggon Kim Yong Tae Kang | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021，30，12： | 1 |
| 3 | Acute esophageal obstruction after ingestion of psyllium seed husk powder:A case report显示文摘BACKGROUND Bezoar is a mass of hardened external material found in the gastrointestinal(GI)tract.It may form anywhere in the GI tract,but esophageal bezoar is rare because of the short esophageal transit time.Psyllium seed husk is an indigestible natural derivative that is widely used as an herbal laxative.Herein,we report a case of acute esophageal obstruction caused by a bezoar after ingestion of psyllium seed husk powder.CASE SUMMARY A 76-year-old male with Parkinson’s disease visited the emergency department with swallowing difficulty approximately 10 h after ingesting psyllium seed husk powder.Symptoms began a few hours after ingestion and progressed to severe dysphagia.There were no abnormal findings on simple radiography.However,a computed tomography scan revealed an approximately 2.0 cm×2.5 cm mass located near the gastro-esophageal junction.After grinding,the mass was removed using an endoscopic capture net.Esophageal bezoars may cause life-threatening complications.Patients with Parkinson’s disease may have esophageal motility dysfunction,which may increase esophageal transit time.Since our patient had Parkinson’s disease,this effect may have contributed to the formation of the bezoar.CONCLUSION Attention should be paid to using bulk-laxatives,and an appropriate specified regimen will be needed when marketed as a dietary supplement. | Sujeong Shin Jung Ho Kim You Ho Mun Han Sol Chung | 2022 | World Journal of Clinical Cases2022，10，7： | 0 |
| 4 | Sprinkle formulations——A review of commercially available products显示文摘Currently, sixty-five original sprinkle drug products are available in various dosage forms including tablets, powders, granules, immediate-release capsules, extended-release capsules, delayed-release capsules, and multiparticulate drug delivery systems. By sprinkling on soft food vehicles, these products provide dosing flexibility and convenience of administration, which potentially improve the compliance of patients with dysphagia.Due to these advantages, the growth of sprinkle products picked up since the 1990s, and several regulatory issues regarding this dosage form have been raised and documented.In this article, the types of sprinkle formulations were discussed by dividing them into seven categories, and the commercial products were summarized in terms of the drug substance, pharmaceutical excipients, storage conditions and administration methods.
