| 1 | Comparative Analysis of Leaf Trichomes, Epidermal Wax And Defense Enzymes Activities in Response to Puccinia horiana in Chrysanthemum and Ajania Species显示文摘White rust caused by Puccinia horiana is a destructive disease of chrysanthemum plants.To better understand the resistance mechanisms of composite species to this disease,the leaf cuticular traits,antioxidant and defensive enzymes activities of immune(Chrysanthemum makinoi var.wakasaense)and highly susceptible(Ajania shiwogiku var.kinokuniense)species were compared.Trichome density of two species was markedly different,negatively associated with plant resistance to P.horiana.Total wax load in C.makinoi var.wakasaense was two times more than that in A.shiwogiku var.kinokuniense.The wax composition in immune one was abundant in esters and primary alcohols.Superoxide dismutase(SOD,EC 1.15.1.1),peroxidase(POD,EC 1.11.1.7),polyphenoloxidase(PPO,EC 1.14.18.1 or EC 1.10.3.2)and phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL,EC 4.3.1.5)activitieswere investigated.In C.makinoi var.wakasaense,the activity of SOD and POD increased rapidly after inoculation,whichmight be non-host induced reactive oxygen species(ROS)activated antioxidant enzymes,however SOD and POD remained a low and steady level in the highly susceptible one after inoculation.Quick increase in PPO activities after inoculation was observed in both species,however it remained higher in C.makinoi var.wakasaense at the late period of inoculation.PAL in C.makinoi var.wakasaense was induced after pathogen inoculation,but not in A.shiwogiku var.kinokuniense,suggesting that these two enzymes might contribute to the resistance to P.horiana. | Yinjie Wang Jun Zeng Xiaolong Xia Yang Xu Jing Sun Jing Gu Hainan Sun Haini Lei Fadi Chen Jiafu Jiang Weiming Fang Sumei Chen | 2020 | Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,3: | 8 |
| 2 | Li-ion battery material under high pressure:amorphization and enhanced conductivity of Li_4Ti_5O_(12)显示文摘Lithium titanium oxide(Li_4Ti_5O_(12),LTO),a‘zero-strain’anode material for lithium-ion batteries,exhibits excellent cycling performance.However,its poor conductivity highly limits its applications.Here,the structural stability and conductivity of LTO were studied using in situ high-pressure measurements and first-principles calculations.LTO underwent a pressure-induced amorphization(PIA)at 26.9 GPa.The impedance spectroscopy revealed that the conductivity of LTO improved significantly after amorphization and that the conductivity of decompressed amorphous LTO increased by an order of magnitude compared with its starting phase.Furthermore,our calculations demonstrated that the different compressibility of the Li O_6 and Ti O_6 octahedra in the structure was crucial for the PIA.The amorphous phase promotes Li^+ diffusion and enhances its ionic conductivity by providing defects for ion migration.Our results not only provide an insight into the pressure depended structural properties of a spinel-like material,but also facilitate exploration of the interplay between PIA and conductivity. | Yanwei Huang Yu He Howard Sheng Xia Lu Haini Dong Sudeshna Samanta Hongliang Dong Xifeng Li Duck Young Kim Ho-kwang Mao Yuzi Liu Heping Li Hong Li Lin Wang | 2019 | National Science Review2019,6,2: | 2 |

| 12 | Long-Term Existence of SARS-CoV-2 in COVID-19 Patients:Host Immunity,Viral Virulence,and Transmissibility显示文摘COVID-19 patients can recover with a median SARS-CoV-2 clearance of 20 days post initial symptoms(PIS).However,we observed some COVID-19 patients with existing SARS-CoV-2 for more than 50 days PIS.This study aimed to investigate the cause of viral clearance delay and the infectivity in these patients.Demographic data and clinical characteristics of 22 long-term COVID-19 patients were collected.The median age of the studied cohort was59.83±12.94 years.All patients were clinically cured after long-term SARS-CoV-2 infection ranging from 53 to112 days PIS.Peripheral lymphocytes counts were normal.The ratios of interferon gamma(IFN-c)-secreting cells to total CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)cells were normal as 24.68%±9.60%and 66.41%±14.87%respectively.However,the number of IFNc-secreting NK cells diminished(58.03%±11.78%).All patients presented detectable IgG,which positively correlated with mild neutralizing activity(Mean value neutralisation antibodies titers=157.2,P=0.05).No SARS-CoV-2 virus was isolated in Vero E6 cells inoculated with nasopharyngeal swab samples from all patients 50 days PIS,and the cytopathic effect was lacking.But one sample was positive for SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid test in cell supernatants after two passages.Genome sequencing revealed that only three synonymous variants were identified in spike protein coding regions.In conclusion,decreased IFN-c production by NK cells and low neutralizing antibodies might favor SARS-CoV-2 long-term existence.Further,low viral load and weak viral pathogenicity were observed in COVID-19 patients with long-term SARSCoV-2 infection. | Xingyu Wang Kun Huang Haini Jiang Lijuan Hua Weiwei Yu Dan Ding Ke Wang Xiaopan Li Zhong Zou Meilin Jin Shuyun Xu | 2020 | Virologica Sinica2020,35,6: | 1 |

| 20 | Benefit allocation of electricity-gas-heat-hydrogen integrated energy system based on Shapley value显示文摘The integrated energy system is an important development direction for achieving energy transformation in the context of the low-carbon development era,and an integrated energy system that uses renewable energy can reduce carbon emissions and improve energy utilization efficiency.The electric power network and the natural gas network are important transmission carriers in the en-ergy field,so the coupling relationship between them has been of wide concern.This paper establishes an integrated energy system considering electricity,gas,heat and hydrogen loads;takes each subject in the integrated energy system as the research object;anal-yses the economic returns of each subject under different operation modes;applies the Shapley value method for benefit allocation;and quantifies the contribution value of the subject to the alliance through different influencing factors to revise the benefit allocation value.Compared with the independent mode,the overall benefits of the integrated energy system increase in the cooperative mode and the benefits of all subjects increase.Due to the different characteristics of different subjects in terms of environmental benefits,collaborative innovation and risk sharing,the benefit allocation is reduced for new-energy subjects and increased for power-to-gas sub-jects and combined heat and power generation units after revising the benefit allocation,to improve the matching degree between the contribution level and the benefit allocation under the premise of increased profit for each subject.The cooperative mode effectively enhances the economic benefits of the system as a whole and individually,and provides a useful reference for the allocation of benefits of integrated energy systems.The analysis shows that the revised benefit distribution under the cooperative model increases by 3.86%,4.08%and 3.13%for power-to-gas subjects,combined heat and power generation units,and new-energy units,respectively,compared with the independent function model. | Yujiao Liu Yan Li Yiping Rong Guoliang Li Ruiqi Wang Haini Zhou | 2023 | Clean Energy2023,7,6: | 0 |
