1Geophysical and Production Data History Matching Based on Ensemble Smoother with Multiple Data Assimilation显示文摘The Ensemble Kalman Filter(EnKF),as the most popular sequential data assimilation algorithm for history matching, has the intrinsic problem of high computational cost and the potential inconsistency of state variables updated at each loop of data assimilation and its corresponding reservoir simulated result. This problem forbids the reservoir engineers to make the best use of the 4D seismic data, which provides valuable information about the fluid change inside the reservoir. Moreover, only matching the production data in the past is not enough to accurately forecast the future, and the development plan based on the false forecast is very likely to be suboptimal. To solve this problem,we developed a workflow for geophysical and production data history matching by modifying ensemble smoother with multiple data assimilation(ESMDA).In this work,we derived the mathematical expressions of ESMDA and discussed its scope of applications. The geophysical data we used is P-wave impedance, which is typically included in a basic seismic interpretation, and it directly reflects the saturation change in the reservoir.Full resolution of the seismic data is not necessary,we subsampled the P-wave impedance data to further reduce the computational cost. With our case studies on a benchmark synthetic reservoir model,we also showed the supremacy of matching both geophysical and production data, than the traditional reservoir history matching merely on the production data:the overall percentage error of the observed data is halved, and the variances of the updated forecasts are reduced by two orders of the magnitude.Zelong Wang Xiangui Liu Haifa Tang Zhikai Lv Qunming Liu 2020Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2020,,5:2
2Advanced production decline analysis of tight gas wells with variable fracture conductivity显示文摘Considering the characteristics that the fracture conductivity formed by hydraulic fracturing varies across space and time, a new mathematical model was established for seepage flow in tight gas fractured vertical wells which takes into account the effects of dual variable conductivity and stress sensitivity. The Blasingame advanced production decline curves of the model were obtained using the finite element method with hybrid elements. On this basis, the effects of fracture space and time dual variable conductivity and stress sensitivity on Blasingame curve were analyzed. The study shows that the space variable conductivity mainly reduces decline curve value at the early stage; the time variable conductivity can result in drops of the production and the production integral curves, leading to a S-shaped curve; dual variable conductivity is the superposition of the effects given by the two variable conductivities; both time and space variable conductivities cannot delay the time with which the formation fluid flow reaches the quasi-steady state. The stress sensitivity reduces the curve value gradually rather than sharply, delaying the time the flow reaching the quasi-steady state. Ignoring the effects of variable conductivity and stress sensitivity will not affect the estimation on well controlled dynamic reserves. However, it can result in large errors in the interpretation of fractures and reservoir parameters. Conventional advanced production decline analyses of a tight gas fractured well in the Sulige gas field showed that the new model is more effective and reliable than the conventional model, and thus it can be widely applied in advanced production decline analysis of wells with the same characteristics in other gas fields.SUN Hedong OUYANG Weiping ZHANG Mian TANG Haifa CHEN Changxiao MA Xu FU Zhongxin 2018Petroleum Exploration and Development2018,45,3:0
3Highly efficient hydrogen production from methanol by single nickel atoms anchored on defective boron nitride nanosheet显示文摘Exploiting inexpensive and effective nickel-based catalysts that produce hydrogen from liquid organic hydrogen carriers(LOHCs)is crucial to alleviating the global energy and environmental crisis. In this study,we report a rational strategy that can realize atomically dispersed Ni atoms anchored on vacancy-abundant boron nitride nanosheets(Ni1/h-BNNS)with high specific surface area(up to 622 m^(2)·g^(-1))and abundant hydroxyl groups for high efficient hydrogen production.Methanol dehydrogenation results show an excellent hydrogen production performance catalyzed by this Ni1/h-BNNS,as evidenced by a remarkably high H_(2) yield rate(1684.23 mol·mol_(Ni)^(-1)·h^(-1)),nearly 100%selectivity toward hydrogen and CO,and high anti-coking performance.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that the outstanding catalytic performance of Ni1/h-BNNS primarily originates from the unique coordinated environment of atomically dispersed Ni(Ni-B_(2)O_(2))and the synergistic interaction between Ni single atoms and the h-BNNS support.Specifically, the coordinated O atoms play a decisive role in promoting the activity of Ni,and the neighboring B sites significantly decrease the energy barriers for the adsorption of key intermediates of methanol dehydrogenation. This study offers a novel strategy for developing high-performance and stable single-atom Ni catalysts by precisely controlling single-atom sites on h-BN support for sustainable hydrogen production.Shengshu Yang Fang Zhang Haifa Qiu Ming Yang Fengjuan Qin Hao Tang Wenxing Chen Zhengang Liu 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
