1Primary gastrointestinal lymphoma显示文摘Gastrointestinal tract is the most common extranodal site involved by lymphoma with the majority being non-Hodgkin type.Although lymphoma can involve any part of the gastrointestinal tract,the most frequent sites in order of its occurrence are the stomach followed by small intestine and ileocecal region.Gastrointestinal tract lymphoma is usually secondary to the widespread nodal diseases and primary gastrointestinal tract lymphoma is relatively rare.Gastrointestinal lymphomas are usually not clinically specific and indistinguishable from other benign and malignant conditions.Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is the most common pathological type of gastrointestinal lymphoma in essentially all sites of the gastrointestinal tract,although recently the frequency of other forms has also increased in certain regions of the world.Although some radiological features such as bulky lymph nodes and maintenance of fat plane are more suggestive of lymphoma,they are not specific,thus mandating histopathological analysis for its definitive diagnosis.There has been a tremendous leap in the diagnosis,staging and management of gastrointestinal lymphoma in the last two decades attributed to a better insight into its etiology and molecular aspect as well as the knowledge about its critical signaling pathways.Prasanna Ghimire 2011World Journal of Gastroenterology2011,17,6:53
2同期化放疗在局部晚期鼻咽癌治疗中的作用:一项关于Ⅲ期随机对照试验的荟萃分析显示文摘目的本项荟萃分析的主要目的是通过比较鼻咽癌病人同期化放疗与单纯放疗的总生存、疾病的局部控制率及远处转移率的差异从而确定同期化放疗在局部晚期鼻咽癌中的作用。次要目的是比较鼻咽癌病人同期化放疗和同期化放疗联合辅助化疗与单纯放疗的生存差别。病人和方法按照预先设计荟萃分析的方案,选择已发表的Ⅲ期随机对照临床研究。临床研究的入选标准包括:①所有入组的鼻咽癌病人随机分为单纯放疗组或同期化放疗组;②临床研究中的病人必须是经组织学证实为鼻咽癌(WHO分型Ⅰ~Ⅲ型);③所有入组的病人都必须接受原发病灶至少为64Gy的足够剂量的常规分割放疗。结果本项荟萃分析共包括了7个临床研究中的1630名病人。与单纯放疗相比,同期化放疗组病人的2年、3年和5年总生存风险比值分别为0.54(95%置信区间0.41~0.70)、0.54(95%置信区间0.37~0.78)和0.49(95%置信区间0.28~0.84),而其相应的2年、3年和5年绝对生存获益分别为9%、10%和13%。同期化放疗组与单纯放疗组的局部复发率及远处转移率也是可比的,并且同期化放疗组可见到明显的生存获益,其5年局部复发率及远处转移率的风险比值分别为0.49(95%置信区间0.30~0.78)和0.59(95%置信区间0.46~0.76)。同期化放疗加辅助化疗与单纯放疗对比的生存获益(包括总生存、局部控制率和远处转移率)比单用同期化放疗与单纯放疗对比的生存获益有所改善,但这种改善差异没有统计学意义。结论本研究结果表明同期化放疗是改善鼻咽癌患者总生存最有效的方法。辅助化疗的确切作用尚不是非常明确,还需要进行更多的研究明确其作用。Bijesh Raj Ghimire 林立平 郭颖 张力 2007循证医学2007,7,3:18
3Tillage, crop residue, and nutrient management effects on.soil organic carbon in rice-based cropping systems: A review显示文摘Soil organic carbon(SOC) sequestration is one of the major agricultural strategies to mitigate greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions,enhance food security,and improve agricultural sustainability.This paper synthesizes the much-needed stateof-knowledge on the effects of tillage,crop residue,and nutrient management practices on SOC sequestration and identifies potential research gap,opportunities,and challenges in studying SOC dynamics in rice(Oryza sativa L.)-based cropping systems in South Asia,mainly in Bangladesh,Bhutan,India,Nepal,Pakistan,and Sri Lanka.Improved management practices such as reduced- and no-tillage management,nitrogen(N) fertilizer and farmyard manure(FYM) application,and crop residue addition can improve SOC accumulation.Positive effects of no-tillage,crop residue addition,N addition through manure or compost application,and integration of organic and chemical fertilizers on SOC accumulation in rice-based cropping systems have been documented from South Asia.However,limited data and enormous discrepancies in SOC measurements across the region exist as the greatest challenge in increasing SOC sequestration and improving agricultural sustainability.More research on SOC as influenced by alternative tillage,crop residue,and nutrient management systems,and development of SOC monitoring system for existing long-term experiments will advance our understanding of the SOC dynamics in rice-based cropping systems and improve agricultural system sustainability in South Asia.Rajan Ghimire Sushil Lamichhane Bharat Sharma Acharya Prakriti Bista Upendra Man Sainju 2017Journal of Integrative Agriculture2017,16,1:11

7GC-MS analysis of volatile compounds of Perilla frutescens Britton var. Japonica accessions: morphological and seasonal variability显示文摘Objective: To investigate the composition of volatile compounds in the different accessions of Perilla frutescens(P. frutescens) collected from various habitats of China and Japan. Methods: In the present study, the essential oil from the leaves of P. frutescens cultivars from China and Japan was extracted by hydro-distillation and the chemical composition and concentration of the volatile components present in the oils were determined by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry(GC–MS) analysis. Results: Among the volatile components, the major proportion was of perilla ketone, which was followed by elemicin and beta-caryophyllene in the Chinese Perilla cultivars. The main component in the oil extracted from the Japanese accessions was myristicin, which was followed by perilla ketone and beta-caryophyllene. We could distinguish seven chemotypes, namely the perilla ketone(PK) type, perilla ketone, myristicin(PM) type, perilla ketone, unknown(PU) type, perilla ketone, beta-caryophyllene, myristicine(PB) type, perilla ketone, myristicin, unknown(PMU) type, perilla ketone, elemicine, myristicin, beta-caryophyllene(PEMB) type, and the perilla ketone, limonene, betacryophyllene, myristicin(L) type. Most of the accessions possessed higher essential oil content before the flowering time than at the flowering stage. The average plant height, leaf length, leaf width of the Chinese accessions was higher than those of the Japanese accessions. Conclusion:The results revealed that the harvest time and geographical origin caused polymorphisms in the essential oil composition and morphological traits in the Perilla accessions originating from China and Japan. 9Predicting the impact of climate change on the distribution of two threatened Himalayan medicinal plants of Liliaceae in Nepal显示文摘Predicting the potential distribution of medicinal plants in response to climate change is essential for their conservation and management. Contributing to the management program, this study aimed to predict the distribution of two threatened medicinal plants, Fritillaria cirrhosa and Lilium nepalense. The location of focal species gathered from herbarium specimen housed in different herbaria and online databases were geo-referenced and checked for spatial autocorrelation. The predictive environmental variables were selected, and MaxE nt software was used to model the current and future distributions of focal species. Four Representative Concentration Pathway(RCP) trajectories of the BCC-CSM1.1 model were used as the future(2050) projection layer. The MaxEnt modelling delineated the potential distribution of F. cirrhosa and L. nepalense. The current suitability is projected towards Central and Eastern Hilly/Mountainous regions. Both species gainmaximum suitability in RCP 4.5 which decline towards other trajectories for L. nepalense. Overall, both the focal species shift towards the north-west, losing their potential habitat in hilly and lower mountainous regions by 2050 across all trajectories. Our results highlight the impact of future climate change on two threatened and valuable species. 11Factors Affecting Adoption of Improved Rice Varieties among Rural Farm Households in Central Nepal显示文摘The use of improved high yielding crop varieties is an important avenue for reducing hunger and food insecurity in developing countries. Using cross-sectional data obtained from a survey conducted during 2013 crop season, we performed a probit model(plot-level analysis) to determine the probability of adopting new improved rice varieties(NIRVs) by smallholder farmers particularly from two main agro-ecological regions(hills and tropical plain terai regions) of Central Nepal. The results revealed that education, extension services and seed access play significant roles in adoption decisions.Additionally, farm and field characteristic variables such as farm size, endowment of favorable land type(e.g. lowlands), and animal power(e.g. oxen) are the key factors influencing the probability of adopting NIRVs. The results showed that technology specific variables(e.g. yield potential and acceptability) are significant for explaining adoption behavior, implying that it is important to take farmers' preferences to varietal characteristics into consideration in the design of a research and development program. Given the significant role played by extension and access related variables, increased emphasis on information dissemination, field demonstration, and farmers' participatory research and training programs to popularize new rice varieties and enhance their adoption rate are required. This also suggests that policy intervention should be made on improving the educational status of farming households, and developing programs on varietal package of rice seed which offer farmers a variety of choices among the appropriate pools of germplasm. 12胃肠道外周T细胞淋巴瘤CT征象分析显示文摘目的分析胃肠道外周T细胞淋巴瘤(peripheral T-cell lymphomas,PTCLs)CT特征及其与临床病理联系。资料与方法回顾性分析经病理证实的15例胃肠道PTCLs,分析病变部位、数目、形态、强化方式、淋巴结肿大、其他器官受累及并发症等CT征象;并与胃肠道B细胞淋巴瘤CT特点进行比较。结果 15例胃肠道PTCL中胃受累6例,肠道受累(即肠病相关T细胞淋巴瘤,enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma,EATL)9例。7例为多发病灶(46.7%),8例为单发病灶(53.3%)。1例EATL表现为息肉型,其余14例表现为管壁增厚型,其中轻度增厚3例,中度增厚10例,显著增厚1例。9例病灶轻度均匀强化,6例病灶轻度不均匀强化。5例伴弥漫性非显著性淋巴结肿大,3例伴局限性非显著性淋巴结肿大。4例合并其他脏器病变,1例并发胃穿孔,5例(5/9,55.6%)并发肠穿孔。9例EATL平均年龄37.1岁,累及结肠5例,回肠1例,回盲部1例,回肠、回盲部同时受累1例,回、结肠同时受累1例;结肠受累共6例(6/9,66.9%)。结论胃肠道PTCLs的CT表现具有一定特征性;与B细胞淋巴瘤相比,PTCLs病变易多发,多为轻中度管壁增厚型;易合并胃肠穿孔;与西方国家比较,国人EATL多见于青年男性,呈结肠易受累的趋势。朱凌 吴光耀 Prasanna Ghimire 徐丽莹 2011临床放射学杂志2011,30,7:4
13EVALUATION OF EROSION PRODUCTIVITY IMPACT CALCULATOR (EPIC) MODEL FOR MIDDLE MOUNTAIN REGION OF NEPAL显示文摘This study verifies the applicability of EPIC model for an erosion plot (61.2 m2) and anupland terraced watershed (72 ha) using a total of 94 rainfall events over a study period of two years.In order to analyze the effect of storm size on runoff and soil loss processes,rainfall events are divided into three groups:small (<25mm),moderate (25-50mm) and large (>50mm).Results indicate that the model could predict reasonably well the runoff and soil loss from the erosion plot and the watershed for the moderate and large rainfall events.However,the runoff and soil loss prediction for the small rainfall events is found to be poor.On annual basis,both surface runoffand soil loss predictions match well the observations.In light of the importance of the moderate and large rainfall events in producing most of the annual runoff and soil loss in the study area,the EPIC model is applied to assess the impacts of erosion on agricultural productivity and to evaluate management practices to protect watersheds in the middle mountainous area of Nepal.Sohan Kumar GHIMIRE Mukand Singh BABEL 2004International Journal of Sediment Research2004,19,2:4
14CT强化率及形态学在鉴别胃黏膜下肿瘤的应用价值显示文摘目的分析常见胃黏膜下肿瘤(GST)的CT征象及强化率.方法选取术后病理证实为GST[间质瘤(GIST)63例、胃平滑肌瘤19例、胃原发性淋巴瘤14例]的术前CT资料.统计分析肿瘤大小、长短径比值、密度等形态学征象及各期强化率.结果GST的动脉期强化率、静脉期强化率、长短径比值、部位、轮廓、密度、肿瘤内低密度灶、强化方式、强化程度、黏膜及浆膜的总体差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);ROC曲线显示,当静脉期强化率>0.74时,诊断为GIST的AUC、敏感度、特异度分别为0.868,79.37%,81.82%.结论静脉期强化率>0.74在诊断GIST时可提供参考价值,结合形态学征象可提高胃平滑肌瘤与胃原发性淋巴瘤的诊断.钟德琳 彭鹏 郭敏 齐国将 蓝海梅 Kasmika Ghimire 2020实用放射学杂志2020,36,1:4
15A New Species of the Genus Tylototriton(Amphibia: Urodela: Salamandridae) from Eastern Himalaya显示文摘A new species of the genus Tylototriton is described from eastern Himalaya based on molecular and morphological comparisons. The new species is diagnosable from the closely-related species by having light brown colouration in dorsal region in life, flat and blunt snout, greatly separated dorsolateral bony ridges on head and straightthick tailfin. 16黄土高原绿肥填闲种植的水分与产量效应:Meta分析显示文摘绿肥填闲种植是黄土高原旱作农业区一项历史悠久的种植方式,但受降水资源限制,绿肥种植可能会增加土壤水分消耗,进而影响后茬粮食作物的产量。本研究基于46篇黄土高原绿肥相关文献数据,采用整合分析(Metaanalysis)方法探究绿肥种植对休闲期降水储存效率(PSE)、粮食作物播种时土壤储水量(SWSP)、粮食作物产量、蒸散量(ET)和水分利用效率(WUE)的影响。结果表明,与裸地休闲相比,绿肥种植系统PSE、SWSP和ET分别降低28.28%、4.93%和2.51%(P<0.05),而后茬粮食作物产量和WUE平均提高2.37%和8.97%(P<0.05)。绿肥填闲种植的水分和产量效应随绿肥翻压至后茬粮食作物播种间隔时间、绿肥生物量以及气候条件而发生变化。PSE、SWSP和后茬粮食作物产量随豆科绿肥翻压至后茬粮食作物播种间隔时间的延长均呈先增加后减少变化,指标的效应量(response ratio,RR)均在间隔时间约13 d时达最大。后茬粮食作物产量和WUE的RR与豆科绿肥生物量之间存在二项式相关,并分别在绿肥生物量为2200 kg·hm^(-2)和3100 kg·hm^(-2)左右时达最大。总体来看,黄土高原地区种植绿肥虽然降低了土壤水分,但对后茬粮食作物产量形成和水分利用具有显著的促进作用,提前13 d左右进行绿肥翻压、控制豆科绿肥生物量在2200~3100 kg·hm^(-2)能够有效减缓对土壤水分的负面影响。张少宏 王俊 RAJAN Ghimire 邢文超 胡映明 张南南 2021中国生态农业学报(中英文)2021,29,11:3
