1Coesite inclusions in zircon from gneisses identified by laser Raman microspectrometer in ultra-high pressure zone of Dabie Mountains,China显示文摘The mineral inclusions in zircon from gneisses in ultra-high pressure (UHP) zone of the Dabie Mountains were identified by using a laser Raman microspectrometer. Coesite occurs as inclusions in zircons from all types of gneiss. Other important minerals, such as jadeite, omphacite, aragonite, barite, and anhydrite were also found as inclusion minerals. These discoveries indicate that ( i) gneissic country rocks had metamorphosed at the same time as the enclosed eclogites; and (ii) SO4-2 -bearing fluids were presentin the UHP metamorphic process, which is manifested by occurrence of barite and anhydrite coexisting with coesite.LIU Jingbo YE Kai CONG Bolin Maruyama Shegnori FAN Hongrui 2001Chinese Science Bulletin2001,46,22:22

3Fluid inclusions in whiteschist in the ultrahigh-pressure metamorphic belt of Dabie Shan,China显示文摘Hualiangting whiteschist in the Dabie Shan ultrahigh-pressure eclogite complex is a specific Mg-Al-rich metamorphic rock. Its protolith was a felsic dyke, which suffered replacement by high-pressure fluids during ec-logite-facies metamorphism. Based on fluid inclusion results in whiteschist, primary high-pressure fluids are CO2-bearing aqueous solutions. Those prove that there exists CO2-H2O fluid during the ultrahigh-pressure metamorphism. 6Effectiveness of Fuling(Poria) and its extracts against spleen deficiency in rats via tonifying spleen显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To observe and explore the effect of Fuling(Poria) in alleviating the spleen deficiency symptom pattern(SDSP).METHODS:We established an animal model of SDS in Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats by treating them with deficiency-inducing factors,including irregular feeding and tail clamping.Mice were administered Fuling(Poria) and its extracts(raw/cooked powder,aqueous/alcohol extract) by gavage once a day for 21 d.The body weight,rectal temperature,and spleen and thymus organ coefficients were calculated.The levels of motilin(MTL),gastrin(GAS),aquaporin 2(AQP2),interleukin 2(IL-2),IL-4,and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT) in the serum and the level of AQP2 in the kidneys were evaluated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.RESULTS:Fuling(Poria) and its extracts did not change the body weight,rectal temperature,and organ coefficients of the spleen and thymus.However,it reduced the levels of MTL and GAS and increased the levels of IL-2 and AQP2.In addition,the levels of IL-4 and 5-HT showed no significant alteration.CONCLUSIONS:These results suggested the crucial function of Fuling(Poria) in SDSP,especially promoting digestive function and water metabolism.FENG Min JIA Ziming WAN Ming FAN Bolin TANG Xiaoqiao CHENG Wenhua SUN Fanzhong 2023Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2023,43,3:0

8The Streptococcus agalactiae Ribose Binding Protein B (RbsB) Mediates Quorum Sensing Signal Uptake via Interaction with Autoinducer-2 Signals显示文摘Understanding aquatic pathogen in sediments or aquacultural water is crucial to protect public health from soilborne and waterborne diseases.Quorum sensing(QS)was increasingly reported in biological wastewater treatment processes because of their inherent roles in biofilm development,bacterial aggregation and so on.The widely QS signals was Antoinducer-2(AI-2),primarily involved to allow the possibility of interspecies communication.However,the cellular components that mediate the response of Streptococcus agalactiae to AI-2 have not been fully characterized.Analysis of the complete genome sequence of S.agalactiae indi-cated that its RbsB protein has similarity to Escherichia coli LsrB and Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans RbsB proteins that bind AI-2.We hypothesized that RbsB protein mediates quorum sensing signal uptake via interaction with AI-2.To evaluate the regulatory effect of RbsB on QS system,the recombinant plasmid pGEX-6p-1-RbsB was constructed and RbsB protein was purified with GST-tag.To further elucidate the role of RbsB protein binding to DPD(AI-2 precursor dihydroxypentanedione),the systemati-cally throughput circular dichroism(CD)spectroscopy,isothermal titration calorimetry200(ITC200)and molecular docking methods were employed.The high expression of soluble RbsB protein with molecular weight of 33 kDa was obtained.The thermodynamics results(ΔH<0,ΔS<0,ΔG<0)with ITC determination indicated that the binding process between DPD and RbsB was exothermic and spontaneous,with hydrogen bonds and van der Waals forces as the main binding forces.Obviously,DPD can be more easily combined with RbsB in a dose-dependent manner,suggesting that RbsB was changed in the microenvironment of DPD when the DPD concentration was between 0.8-1.0mmolL−1 and reaching the maximum binding amount.According to molecular docking,3 hydrophobic residues involved in DPD and RbsB protein stable binding were be found,and also hydrogen bonding plays a key role in the formation of the new complex.RbsB efficiently inhibited V.harveyi bioluminescence induced by both S.agalactiae AI-2 and V.harveyi AI-2 in a dose-dependent manner.However,our results suggest that RbsB may play a role in the response of S.agalactiace to AI-2.FAN Bolin PAN Lixia WANG Zhongliang WANGKAHART Eakapol HUANG Yuchong YANG Dengfeng JIAN Jichang HUANG Yu WANG Bei 2021Journal of Ocean University of China2021,20,5:0

10Deep self-learning enables fast,high-fidelity isotropic resolution restoration for volumetric fluorescence microscopy显示文摘One intrinsic yet critical issue that troubles the field of fluorescence microscopy ever since its introduction is the unmatched resolution in the lateral and axial directions(i.e.,resolution anisotropy),which severely deteriorates the quality,reconstruction,and analysis of 3D volume images.By leveraging the natural anisotropy,we present a deep self-learning method termed Self-Net that significantly improves the resolution of axial images by using the lateral images from the same raw dataset as rational targets.By incorporating unsupervised learning for realistic anisotropic degradation and supervised learning for high-fidelity isotropic recovery,our method can effectively suppress the hallucination with substantially enhanced image quality compared to previously reported methods.In the experiments,we show that Self-Net can reconstruct high-fidelity isotropic 3D images from organelle to tissue levels via raw images from various microscopy platforms,e.g.,wide-field,laser-scanning,or super-resolution microscopy.For the first time,Self-Net enables isotropic whole-brain imaging at a voxel resolution of 0.2×0.2×0.2μm^(3),which addresses the last-mile problem of data quality in single-neuron morphology visualization and reconstruction with minimal effort and cost.Overall,Self-Net is a promising approach to overcoming the inherent resolution anisotropy for all classes of 3D fluorescence microscopy.Kefu Ning Bolin Lu Xiaojun Wang Xiaoyu Zhang Shuo Nie Tao Jiang Anan Li Guoqing Fan Xiaofeng Wang Qingming Luo Hui Gong Jing Yuan 2023Light(Science & Applications)2023,12,9:0
