1Effect of composite supports on the methanation activity of Co-Mo-based sulphur-resistant catalysts显示文摘The effects of composite supports of CeO2-Al2O3,MgO-Al2O3,TiO2-Al2O3 or ZrO2-Al2O3 on the methanation activity of supported Co-Mo-based sulphur-resistant catalysts were investigated.The catalysts were further characterized by nitrogen adsorption measurement,X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The catalyst of 5%CoO-15%MoO3 supported on CeO2-Al2O3,MgO-Al2O3,TiO2-Al2O3 or ZrO2-Al2O3 composite oxides,respectively,showed different catalytic performances of syngas methanation in the presence of hydrogen sulphide as compared with that of the 5%CoO-15%MoO3/Al2O3 catalyst.The Co-Mo/CeO2-Al2O3 catalyst shows the highest methanation activity among the tested catalysts.The enhanced methanation activity may be attributed to the improvement of the dispersion of active metal species and the inhibition of the formation of S6+.Haiyang Wang Zhenhua Li Erdong Wang Can Lin Yuguang Shang Guozhong Ding Xinbin Ma Shaodong Qin Qi Sun 2012Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,6:15
2miR-28-5p targets MTSS1 to regulate cell proliferation and apoptosis in esophageal cancer显示文摘Esophageal cancer (EC) is one of the most common aggressive malignant diseases worldwide. miR-28-5p plays important regulatory roles in many cancers including human EC. However, the molecular mechanism and potential role of miR-28-5p in EC remain uncertain. In this study, qRT-PCR and western blot analysis revealed that miR-28-5p expression was up-regulated and metastasis suppressor-1 (MTSS1) was down-regulated in EC tissues relative to matched para-cancer tissues. Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay demonstrated that miR-28-5p mimics increased cell viability, and miR-28-5p inhibitor decreased it. Flow cytometry (FCM) assay indicated that miR-28-5p mimics promoted cell cycle entry, while miR-28-5p inhibitor reduced it and induced cell apoptosis. Moreover, miR-28-5p mimics up-regulated the expressions of cyclin A, cyclin dependent kinase 2 (CDK2), cyclin D1, and cyclin E but down-regulated the expressions of cleaved caspase-3 and cleaved caspase-9, which was abolished by miR-28-5p inhibitor. Furthermore, luciferase reporter assay verified that miR-28-5p directly targeted MTSS1 3′UTR and down-regulated its expression. MTSS1 overexpression in TE-1 cells inhibited cell proliferation and promoted apoptosis induced by miR-28-5p mimics, whereas silencing of MTSS1 reversed cell progression induced by miR-28-5p inhibitor. We also demonstrated that miR-28-5p could promote esophageal tumor formation in vivo. Hematoxylin–eosin staining, immunohistochemistry, and TUNEL assays confirmed that miR-28-5p antagomir inhibited cell growth and accelerated apoptosis. Our results suggest that miR-28-5p may induce cell proliferation and suppress apoptosis to promote EC tumor formation via decreasing MTSS1 expression. 3Hydrogen storage properties of Laves phase Ti_(1-x)Zr_x(Mn_(0.5)Cr_(0.5))_2 alloys显示文摘The activation behaviors and hydrogen storage properties of the Laves phase Ti1-xZrx(Mn0.5Cr0.5)2 (x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.32, 0.5) alloys were investigated by the pressure-composition-temperature (P-C-T) measurements. All the studied alloys show the single C14-type Laves phase structure based on the XRD data. Except for the alloys with very low Zr content of x=0 and x=0.1, all these alloys can be fully activated. The P-C isotherms of the activated alloys show that, the introduction of Zr induces the decrease of the equilibrium pressures and the steeper plateaus. As the x increases, the maximum hydrogen absorption also increases, whereas the desorption of hydrogen decreases. These two effects result in a maximum reversible hydrogen storage capacity of H/M=3.03 for the alloy at x=0.32. 4Porous carbon layers wrapped CoFe alloy for ultrastable Zn-Air batteries exceeding 20,000 charging-discharging cycles显示文摘Developing high active and stable bifunctional electrocatalysts towards oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is essential for the development of rechargeable Zn-air batteries.Herein,a facile strategy to synthesize the porous carbon layers wrapped CoFe alloy(C/CoFe)through the pyrolysis of a homogeneous mixture containing Co,Fe ions and N-doped carbon quantum dots(Ndoped CQDs)was reported.The prepared carbon layers with multi-level pore structures provides more active sites and optimizes the homogeneity of the electron and mass transport.In addition,the carbon layers,which is doped by Co/Fe/N atoms,is responsible for high ORR activity,while the CoFe alloy plays a vital role in OER performance.The as-synthesized catalyst exhibits an excellent bifunctionality for electrochemical oxygen reactions,which is comparable to the commercial Pt/C and IrO2 benchmarks.Owing to the carbon layers protects CoFe alloy nanoparticles from the harsh environment,the rechargeable Znair battery with the C/CoFe catalyst delivers excellent stability during 20,000 charging-discharging cycles.Fang Shi Kaiyue Zhu Xiaoke Li Erdong Wang Xuefeng Zhu Weishen Yang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,10:2
5Gold-iridium bifunctional electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction and oxygen evolution reactions显示文摘Carbon supported gold-iridium composite(Au Ir/C) was synthesized by a facile one-step process and was investigated as the bifunctional catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction(OER). The physical properties of the Au Ir/C composite were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). Although the Au and Ir in the Au Ir/C did not form alloy, it is clear that the introduction of Ir decreases the average Au particle size to 4.2 nm compared to that in the Au/C(10.1 nm). By systematical analysis on chemical state of metal surface via XPS and the electrochemical results, it was found that the Au surface for the Au/C can be activated by potential cycling from 0.12 V to 1.72 V, resulting in the increased surface roughness of Au,thus improving the ORR activity. By the same potential cycling, the Ir surface of the Ir/C was irreversibly oxidized, leading to degraded ORR activity but uninfluenced OER activity. For the Au Ir/C, Ir protects Au against being oxidized due to the lower electronegativity of Ir. Combining the advantages of Au and Ir in catalyzing ORR and OER, the Au Ir/C catalyst displays an enhanced catalytic activity to the ORR and a comparable OER activity. 6Ubiquitinome Profiling Reveals the Landscape of Ubiquitination Regulation in Rice Young Panicles显示文摘Ubiquitination,an essential post-transcriptional modification(PTM),plays a vital role in nearly every biological process,including development and growth.Despite its functions in plant reproductive development,its targets in rice panicles remain unclear.In this study,we used proteome-wide profiling of lysine ubiquitination in rice(O.sativa ssp.indica)young panicles.We created the largest ubiquitinome dataset in rice to date,identifying 1638 lysine ubiquitination sites on916 unique proteins.We detected three conserved ubiquitination motifs,noting that acidic glutamic acid(E)and aspartic acid(D)were most frequently present around ubiquitinated lysine.Enrichment analysis of Gene Ontology(GO)annotations and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathways of these ubiquitinated proteins revealed that ubiquitination plays an important role in fundamental cellular processes in rice young panicles.Interestingly,enrichment analysis of protein domains indicated that ubiquitination was enriched on a variety of receptorlike kinases and cytoplasmic tyrosine and serine-threonine kinases.Furthermore,we analyzed the crosstalk between ubiquitination,acetylation,and succinylation,and constructed a potential protein interaction network within our rice ubiquitinome.Moreover,we identified ubiquitinated proteins related to pollen and grain development,indicating that ubiquitination may play a critical role in the physiological functions in young panicles.Taken together,we reported the most comprehensive lysine ubiquitinome in rice so far,and used it to reveal the functional role of lysine ubiquitination in rice young panicles.Liya Zhu Han Cheng Guoqing Peng Shuansuo Wang Zhiguo Zhang Erdong Ni Xiangdong Fu Chuxiong Zhuang Zexian Liu Hai Zhou 2020Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2020,18,3:2
7Research on thin grid materials of lead-acid batteries显示文摘A detailed investigation on Pb-Ca-Sn alloys was made in order to choose suitable grid alloys materials for thin plate lead-acid batteries. The electrochemical performances of alloys were investigated by electrochemical corrosion experiment, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and cyclic voltammetry (CV) test. The results indicate that Pb-Ca-Sn-Bi-Cu alloys can be used to make the grids used for thin grid lead-acid batteries, the content of bismuth has primary effects on the corrosion resistance of grid alloys, the composition of alloys plays an important role on batteries performance, and appropriate scale of elements can be choosed to obtain optimal electrochemical performance. 10Size-dependent catalytic activity of cobalt phosphides for hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘Transition metal phosphides are a class of promising electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER) to replace noble metals.In this work,we for the first time synthesize carbon supported CoP nanoparticles with the average particle sizes from 3.3 to 9.2 nm,via a solvothermal process followed by low-temperature topological phosphorization,and the size-dependent HER activity of the CoP is investigated by virtue of TEM,XRD,XPS and the electrochemical techniques.It is discovered that the 9.2nm-CoP particles possess high intrinsic HER catalytic activity as compared to the 3.3nm-CoP,although the smaller one displays a high mass activity due to the large surface area.Detailed studies manifest that the small CoP particles suffer from serious oxidation once exposing to air.In contrast,most cobalt remains in the quasi-metallic state in the relatively large CoP particles,which is beneficial for the desorption of Hads,the rate determining step of the HER process over CoP surface.In addition,the low charge transfer resistance across the liquid/solid interfaces also contributes to the excellent HER activity of the relatively large CoP particles.Xiaoke Li Luhua Jiang Jing Liu Qingfeng Hua Erdong Wang Guangwen Xie 2020Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,4:1

16Preparation and mechanism study of bulk pure rare-earth metals with amorphous and nanocrystalline structures显示文摘The preparation and the mechanism study of bulk pure rare-earth metals with amorphous and nanocrystalline structures, which were produced by spark plasma sintering (SPS), were carried out in this paper. With different processing parameters, the amorphous, two phases of amorphous and nanocrystalline, and complete nanocrystalline microstructures have been obtained. The nano-grain sizes in the bulk nanocrystalline materials are found smaller than the original powder particles sizes, which may change the conventional viewpoint that the grains in the sintered bulk are generally coarser than the raw powder particles.
