1Generating geologically realistic 3D reservoir facies models using deep learning of sedimentary architecture with generative adversarial networks显示文摘This paper proposes a novel approach for generating 3-dimensional complex geological facies models based on deep generative models.It can reproduce a wide range of conceptual geological models while possessing the flexibility necessary to honor constraints such as well data.Compared with existing geostatistics-based modeling methods,our approach produces realistic subsurface facies architecture in 3D using a state-of-the-art deep learning method called generative adversarial networks(GANs).GANs couple a generator with a discriminator,and each uses a deep convolutional neural network.The networks are trained in an adversarial manner until the generator can create 'fake' images that the discriminator cannot distinguish from 'real' images.We extend the original GAN approach to 3D geological modeling at the reservoir scale.The GANs are trained using a library of 3D facies models.Once the GANs have been trained,they can generate a variety of geologically realistic facies models constrained by well data interpretations.This geomodelling approach using GANs has been tested on models of both complex fluvial depositional systems and carbonate reservoirs that exhibit progradational and aggradational trends.The results demonstrate that this deep learning-driven modeling approach can capture more realistic facies architectures and associations than existing geostatistical modeling methods,which often fail to reproduce heterogeneous nonstationary sedimentary facies with apparent depositional trend.Tuan-Feng Zhang Peter Tilke Emilien Dupont Ling-Chen Zhu Lin Liang William Bailey 2019Petroleum Science2019,16,3:16
22,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid-induced chronic colitis with fibrosis and modulation of TGF-β1 signaling显示文摘AIM:To investigate whether targeting proteasome might reverse intestinal fibrosis in rats.METHODS:Chronic colitis was induced in rats by repeated administration of increasing dose of2,4,6-trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid(TNBS,15,30,45,60,60,60 mg)by rectal injection for 6 wk(from day0 to day 35),while control rats received the vehicle.TNBS+bortezomib(BTZ)rats received intraperitoneal injections of BTZ twice weekly(from day 37 to day44)at a dose of 25 mg/kg,whereas the control and TNBS groups received the same amount of the vehicle.Histologic scoring of inflammation and fibrosis was performed.Colonic production of transforming growth factor(TGF)-βwas measured by ELISA.Colon fibrosisrelated proteins such as phospho-p38,phosphoSMAD2/3,Akt and peroxisome proliferator activated receptorγ(PPARγ)were studied by western blot.Expression of the tight junction proteins,occludin and claudin-1,were assessed by Western blot.Colon proteasome activities(chymotrypsin-like and trypsinlike activities)were assessed.RESULTS:TNBS-treated rats had a higher colon weight/length ratio compared to control rats(P<0.01).Furthermore,fibrosis and inflammation scores were higher in TNBS-treated rats compared to control rats(P<0.01 for both).Colonic production of TGF-βproduction tended to be higher in TNBS-treated rats(P<0.06).Fibrosis-related proteins such as phospho-p38,phospho-SMAD2/3,and PPARγwere significantly higher in TNBS-treated rats compared to control rats(all P<0.05).TNBS rats had a higher expression of Akt compared to control rats(P<0.01).Tight junction proteins were modified by repeated TNBS challenge:colon occludin expression rose significantly(P<0.01),whereas claudin-1 expression fell(P<0.01).Bortezomib inhibition significantly decreased chymotrypsin-like activity(P<0.05),but had no significant effect on trypsin-like activity(P>0.05).In contrast,bortezomib had no effect on other studied parameters such as fibrosis score,TGF-βsignaling,or tight junction expression(P>0.05 for all).CONCLUSION:Rats with TNBS-induced chronic colitis exhibited colon fibrosis associated with higher TGF-βsignaling.Proteasome inhibition by bortezomib had no effect on fibrosis in our experimental conditions.Emilien Loeuillard Julien Bertrand Anni Herranen Chloé Melchior Charlène Guérin Mo?se Co?ffier Moutaz Aziz Pierre Déchelotte Guillaume Savoye Rachel Marion-Letellier 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,48:4

8Effect of micro-algae Schizochytrium sp.supplementation in plant diet on reproduction of female rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss):maternal programming impact of progeny显示文摘Background:The broodstock diet,and in particular the lipid and fatty acid composition of the diet,is known to play a key role in reproductive efficiency and survival of the progeny in fish.A major problem when replacing both fish meal and fish oil by plant sources is the lack of n-3 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids,such as eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA)and docosahexaenoic acid(DHA).To address this problem,we studied the effect of the plant-based diet supplemented with Schizochytrium sp.microalgae,source of DHA,compared to a conventional commercial diet rich in fish meal and fish oil on reproductive performance and egg quality and the consequences on progeny,in female rainbow trout broodstock.Results:The results demonstrated that DHA-rich microalgae supplementation in a plant-based diet allowed for the maintenance of reproductive performance and egg quality comparable to a conventional commercial feed rich in fish meal and fish oil and led to an increased significant fry survival after resorption.Moreover,when females were fed a plant-based diet supplemented with micro-algae,the 4-month-old progenies showed a significant higher growth when they were challenged with a similar diet as broodstock during 1 month.We provide evidence for metabolic programming in which the maternal dietary induced significant protracted effects on lipid metabolism of progeny.Conclusions:The present study demonstrates that supplementation of a plant-based diet with DHA-rich microalgae can be an effective alternative to fish meal and fish oil in rainbow trout broodstock aquafeed.Emilie Cardona Emilien Segret Yoann Cachelou Thibaut Vanderesse Laurence Larroquet Alexandre Hermann Anne Surget Geneviève Corraze Frederic Cachelou Julien Bobe Sandrine Skiba-Cassy 2022Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,4:1
