2Internet Multimedia Traffic Classification from QoS Perspective Using Semi-Supervised Dictionary Learning Models显示文摘To address the issue of finegrained classification of Internet multimedia traffic from a Quality of Service(QoS) perspective with a suitable granularity, this paper defines a new set of QoS classes and presents a modified K-Singular Value Decomposition(K-SVD) method for multimedia identification. After analyzing several instances of typical Internet multimedia traffic captured in a campus network, this paper defines a new set of QoS classes according to the difference in downstream/upstream rates and proposes a modified K-SVD method that can automatically search for underlying structural patterns in the QoS characteristic space. We define bagQoS-words as the set of specific QoS local patterns, which can be expressed by core QoS characteristics. After the dictionary is constructed with an excess quantity of bag-QoSwords, Locality Constrained Feature Coding(LCFC) features of QoS classes are extracted. By associating a set of characteristics with a percentage of error, an objective function is formulated. In accordance with the modified K-SVD, Internet multimedia traffic can be classified into a corresponding QoS class with a linear Support Vector Machines(SVM) clas-sifier. 53D printing of fine-grained aluminum alloys through extrusion-based additive manufacturing:Microstructure and property characterization显示文摘Additive manufacturing(AM)has the potential to transform manufacturing by enabling previously un-thinkable products,digital inventory and delivery,and distributed manufacturing.Here we presented an extrusion-based metal AM method(refer to“SoftTouch”depositionin thefiledpatent)thatis suitablefor making the metal feedstock flowable prior to the deposition through dynamic recrystallization induced grain refinement at elevated temperatures.The flowable metal was extruded out of the printer head like a paste for building dense metal parts with fine equiaxed grains and wrought mechanical properties.Off-the-shelf metal rods were used as feedstock and the printing process was completed in an open-air environment,avoiding pricy powders and costly inert or vacuum conditions.The resulting multi-layer de-posited 6061 aluminum alloys yield strength and ductility comparable to wrought 6061 aluminum alloys after the same T6 heat treatment.The extrusion-based metal AM method can also be advanced as green manufacturing technologies for fabricating novel alloys and composites,adding novel features to existing parts,repairing damaged metal parts,and welding advanced metals for supporting sustainable manufac-turing,in addition to being developed into a cost-effective manufacturing process for the fabrication of dense metal of complex structural forms.Fengchao Liu Pingsha Dong Abdul Sayeed Khan Yuning Zhang Randy Cheng Alan Taub Zongyi Ma 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,8:1
6Wear behavior of the raw and pre-smashed carbon nanotubes reinforced 6061Al composites fabricated by powder metallurgy显示文摘The raw and pre-smashed(PS)carbon nanotube(CNT)reinforced 6061Al composites(CNT/6061Al)with different CNT contents were respectively fabricated by powder metallurgy technology.It was found that reducing the CNT cluster size by presmashing processing could sharply reduce the friction coefficient,and significantly improve the density,hardness,and wear resistance of the CNT/6061Al composites.For the raw-CNT/6061Al composites,the wear rate increased approximately linear trend while the CNT content was over 1 wt.%.The plastic deformation,deep grooves,and serious delamination were presented on the wear surface.The wear process was gradually transformed from Al-copper base counterpart wear into Al-Al wear for the higher adhesion-binding energy between aluminum and copper base counterpart.While for the PS-CNT/6061Al composites,the wear rate gradually decreased as the CNT content increased from 0 to 2 wt.%.This was mainly because the generation of the thinner mechanically mixed layer(MML)and the PS-CNT prevented the direct contact between specimen and copper base counterpart,which effectively inhibited the adhesive wear.But excessive PS-CNTaddition(~3 wt.%)would weaken the bonding between CNT and 6061Al,and thus the wear resistance of the composite was reduced apparently.LI XiaoNan LIU ZhenYu ZAN YuNing XIAO BoLü NI DingRui WANG QuanZhao WANG Dong MA ZongYi 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,5:1
7Red blood cell membrane-camouflaged nanoparticles loaded with AIEgen and Poly(I: C) for enhanced tumoral photodynamic-immunotherapy显示文摘Red blood cell(RBC)-mimicking nanoparticles(NPs) offer a promising platform for drug delivery because of their prolonged circulation time, reduced immunogenicity and specific targeting ability. Herein, we report the design and preparation of RBC membrane-bound NPs(M@AP), for tumoral photodynamic-immunotherapy. The M@AP is formed by self-assembly of the positively charged aggregation-induced emission luminogen(AIEgen)(named P2-PPh3) and the negatively charged polyinosinic : polycytidylic acid(Poly(I : C)), followed by RBC membrane encapsulation. P2-PPh3 is an AIE-active conjugated polyelectrolyte with additional photosensitizing ability for photodynamic therapy(PDT), while Poly(I : C) serves as an immune-stimulant to stimulate both tumor and immune cells to activate immunity, and thus reduces tumor cell viability. When applied in tumor-bearing mice, the M@AP NPs are enriched in both the tumor region as a result of an enhanced permeability and retention(EPR)effect, and the spleen because of the homing effect of the RBC-mimicking shell. Upon light irradiation,P2-PPh3 promotes strong ROS generation in tumor cells, inducing the release of tumor antigens(TA). The anti-tumor immunity is further enhanced by the presence of Poly(I : C) in M@AP. 8PARTICLE FILTERING BASED AUTOREGRESSIVE CHANNEL PREDICTION MODEL显示文摘A particle filtering based AutoRegressive (AR) channel prediction model is presented for cognitive radio systems. Firstly, this paper introduces the particle filtering and the system model. Secondly, the AR model of order p is used to approximate the flat Rayleigh fading channels; its stability is discussed, and an algorithm for solving the AR model parameters is also given. Finally, an AR channel prediction model based on particle filtering and second-order AR model is presented. 10Adaptive Optimal Capacity Perception and Control for Wireless Multi-Hop Networks显示文摘In wireless multimedia communications, it is extremely difficult to derive general end-to-end capacity results because of decentralized packet scheduling and the interference between communicating nodes. In this paper, we present a state-based channel capacity perception scheme to provide statistical Quality-of-Service (QoS) guarantees under a medium or high traffic load for IEEE 802.11 wireless multi-hop networks. The proposed scheme first perceives the state of the wireless link from the MAC retransmission information and extends this information to calculate the wireless channel capacity, particularly under a saturated traffic load, on the basis of the interference among flows and the link state in the wireless multi-hop networks. Finally, the adaptive optimal control algorithm allocates a network resource and forwards the data packet by taking into consideration the channel capacity deployments in multi-terminal or multi-hop mesh networks. 12RNA-Seq analysis and development of SSR and KASP markers in lentil(Lens culinaris Medikus subsp. culinaris)显示文摘Lentil(Lens culinaris Medikus subsp.culinaris,2 n=14)is a cool-season legume with high production potential for multiple uses.However,limited molecular research has been conducted in this species owing to its large genome,which impedes the generation of genome sequences and the development of molecular markers.In this study,more than 1.37 billion filtered clean reads were collected by RNA-Seq of six diverse lentil accessions and217,836 transcripts and 161,095 unigenes were de novo assembled,yielding respectively 257.1 and 240.6 million nucleotides.The mean transcript length was 1180 bp and the N50 and N90 lengths were respectively 2075 and 479 bp.The mean length of the unigenes was 1494 bp and their N50 and N90 values were respectively 2203 and 714 bp.The unigenes were annotated against seven databases.The FLOWERING LOCUS T(FT)gene homolog in lentil showed high protein sequence similarity to the FT gene homologs of pea and alfalfa.On the basis of the RNA-Seq analysis,26,449 EST-SSR markers were designed in silico,and 276 preliminarily screened markers were selected to evaluate polymorphism in 94 diverse lentil accessions.In total,125(45.29%)of 276 EST-SSR markers were found to be polymorphic.A total of 130,073 SNP loci were detected and 78(61.41%)of 127 SNPs were successfully converted to KASP markers.Population genetic analyses of the lentil accessions with EST-SSR and KASP markers revealed similar genetic structures,suggesting that the RNA-Seq-generated resources and the developed markers are reliable for use in molecular marker-assisted breeding of lentil.Dong Wang Tao Yang Rong Liu Nana Li Xiaomu Wang Ashutosh Sarker Xiaodong Zhang Runfang Li Yanyan Pu Guan Li Yuning Huang Yishan Ji Zhaojun Li Qian Tian Xuxiao Zong Hanfeng Ding 2020The Crop Journal2020,8,6:1

15Best-retransmission count selection for environment optimization over wireless heterogeneous networks显示文摘This paper proposes an environment-aware bestretransmission count selected optimization control scheme over IEEE 802.11 multi-hop wireless networks. The proposed scheme predicts the wireless resources by using statistical channel state and provides maximum retransmission count optimization based on wireless channel environment state to improve the packet delivery success ratio. The media access control(MAC) layer selects the best-retransmission count by perceiving the types of packet loss in wireless link and using the wireless channel characteristics and environment information, and adjusts the packet forwarding adaptively aiming at improving the packet retransmission probability. 16Effects of hot-pressing parameters on microstructure and mechanical properties of composites synthesized by Al-TiO_(2) in-situ reaction显示文摘As a classic in-situ reaction, the Al-TiO_(2) reaction is expected to prepare aluminum matrix composites with high thermal stability.In this study, it was found that the preparation method of ensuring sufficient reaction using higher temperatures in previous studies was not conducive to acquiring optimized high-temperature strength. With the increase of hot-pressing temperature and the extension of holding time, the in-situ reaction became more thorough, but the strength of the composites first increased and then decreased. Coarsening of the microstructure at high temperatures would lead to degradation of strength and controlling the in-situ reaction process by the hot-pressing parameters could optimize the mechanical properties of the composites. Strengthening mechanisms at room and high temperatures were studied, and it was found that the load-transfer and Orowan strengthening mechanisms are the main strengthening effects at room temperature, while the pinning effect of fine particles became more crucial at elevated temperatures. As a result, the coarsening of the reinforcing phases was more detrimental to the hightemperature strength. 17TRACKING DEFORMABLE AND OCCLUDED OBJECTS USING PARTICLE FILTERING AND GVF-SNAKE显示文摘An adaptive object tracking algorithm based on particle filtering and a modified Gradient Vector Flow (GVF) Snake is proposed for tracking moving and deforming objects. The original contours of objects are obtained by using the background differencing method,and the true contours of objects can be converged by means of the powerful searching ability of a modified GVF-Snake. Finally,an Energetic Particle Filtering (EPF) algorithm is obtained by combining particle filtering and a modified GVF-Snake,and by using K-means and the EPF algorithm,multiple objects can be tracked. The proposed tracking tactic for partially occluded objects can effectively improve its anti-occlusion ability. 18Lpcat3 deficiency promotes palmitic acid-induced 3T3-L1 mature adipocyte inflammation through enhanced ROS generation显示文摘Phosphatidylcholines(PCs)are major phospholipids in the mammalian cell membrane.Structural remodeling of PCs is associated with many biological processes.Lysophosphatidylcholine acyltransferase 3(Lpcat3),which catalyzes the incorporation of polyunsaturated fatty acyl chains into the sn-2 site of PCs,plays an important role in maintaining plasma membrane fluidity.Adipose tissue is one of the main distribution organs of Lpcat3,while the relationship between Lpcat3 and adipose tissue dysfunction during overexpansion remains unknown.In this study,we reveal that both polyunsaturated PC content and Lpcat3 expression are increased in abdominal adipose tissues of high-fat diet-fed mice when compared with chow-diet-fed mice,indicating that Lpcat3 is involved in adipose tissue overexpansion and dysfunction.Our experiments in 3T3-L1 adipocytes show that inhibition of Lpcat3 does not change triglyceride accumulation but increases palmitic acid-induced inflammation and lipolysis.Conversely,Lpcat3 overexpression exhibits anti-inflammatory and anti-lipolytic effects.Furthermore,mechanistic studies demonstrate that Lpcat3 deficiency promotes reactive oxygen species(ROS)generation by increasing NOX enzyme activity by facilitating the translocation of NOX4 to lipid rafts,thereby aggregating 3T3-L1 adipocyte inflammation induced by palmitic acid.Moreover,overexpression of Lpcat3 exhibits the opposite effects.These findings suggest that Lpcat3 protects adipocytes from inflammation during adipose tissue overexpansion by reducing ROS generation.In conclusion,our study demonstrates that Lpcat3 deficiency promotes palmitic acid-induced inflammation in 3T3-L1 adipocytes by enhancing ROS generation.Jiachun Hu Yan Deng Tingbo Ding Jibin Dong Yuning Liang Bin Lou 2023Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,1:0

20AN ADAPTIVE OPPORTUNISTIC RETRANSMISSION CONTROL SCHEME ENVIRONMENT-AWARE-BASED FOR WIRELESS MULTIMEDIA MESH NETWORKS显示文摘In this paper, we propose an aware-based adaptive opportunistic retransmission control scheme for wireless multimedia Mesh networks. The proposed scheme provides maximum retransmis-sion count optimization based on environment-aware to improve packet relay probability. The scheme discriminates the types of packet loss in wireless link by means of environment information and selects the retransmission count by taking the IEEE 802.11 wireless channel characteristics into consideration. Furthermore, the maximum retransmission count of MAC is adjusted adaptively.
