4Ultrafast spectroscopy of semiconductor saturable absorber mirror显示文摘Ultrafast spectroscopy of semiconductor saturable absorber mirror(SESAM) is measured using a femtosecond pump-probe experiment.This allows dynamic responses of SESAM in the cavity to be concluded by ultrafast spectroscopy.Change in reflection is measured as a function of pump-probe delay for different pump excitation fluences.Change of nonlinear reflection of SESAM is measured as a function of incident light energy density.When the excitation fluence increases,nonlinear change in ultrafast spectroscopy of SESAM becomes increasingly significant.When SESAM is pumped by an ultrahigh excitation fluence,the energy density of which is approximately 1400 μJ/cm2,two-photon absorption can be observed visibly in its ultrafast spectroscopy.张靓 Dominik Bauer Farina Knig Thomas Dekorsy 张喜和 陈亚符 2010Chinese Optics Letters2010,8,7:1
5Multi-mW,few-cycle mid-infrared continuum spanning from 500 to 2250cm^(−1)显示文摘The demand for and usage of broadband coherent mid-infrared sources,such as those provided by synchrotron facilities,are growing.Since most organic molecules exhibit characteristic vibrational modes in the wavelength range between 500 and 4000 cm^(−1),such broadband coherent sources enable micro-or even nano-spectroscopic applications at or below the diffraction limit with a high signal-to-noise ratio1–3.These techniques have been applied in diverse fields ranging from life sciences,material analysis,and time-resolved spectroscopy.Here we demonstrate a broadband,coherent and intrinsically carrier-envelope-phase-stable source with a spectrum spanning from 500 to 2250 cm^(−1)(−30 dB)at an average power of 24mW and a repetition rate of 77 MHz.This performance is enabled by the first mode-locked thin-disk oscillator operating at 2μm wavelength,providing a tenfold increase in average power over femtosecond oscillators previously demonstrated in this wavelength range4.Multi-octave spectral coverage from this compact and power-scalable system opens up a range of time-and frequency-domain spectroscopic applications.Jinwei Zhang Ka Fai Mak Nathalie Nagl Marcus Seidel Dominik Bauer Dirk Sutter Vladimir Pervak Ferenc Krausz Oleg Pronin 2017Light(Science & Applications)2017,6,1:0
6Dielectric coatings for optimized low-loss saturable absorbers for high-power ultrafast laser显示文摘With the development of high power ultrafast laser passively mode-locked by a semiconductor saturableabsorber mirror (SESAM), the damage threshold and degeneration mechanism of the SESAM become moreand more important. One way to reduce the maximum electric field inside the active part of the SESAMis the use of a dielectric coating on the top of the semiconductor structure. With Fresnel formula, opticaltransfer matrix, and optical thin film theory, the electric field distribution and reflectance spectrum canbe simulated.
