| 2 | H2 strain attenuated live hepatitis A vaccines:protective efficacy in a hepatitis A outbreak显示文摘AIM To investigate the protective efficacy ofH2 strain attenuated live hepatitis A vaccines(H2-strain vaccines)in hepatitis A(HA)outbreaks.METHODS With the permission of theirparents,5551 pre-school and grade 1-3 primaryschool children were inoculated with 1 dose(106.5TCID50)of H2-strain vaccines in anonrandomized,controlled trial conducted inFucheng County,Hebei Province in May 1997.Another 6485 children in the same grades andcompatible in gender and age were enrolled ascontrols.Epidemiological and serological surveywas conducted to evaluate the protectiveefficacy of the vaccines.ELISA was used todetect serum IgM anti-HAV.RESULTS HA outbreak started in early May1998,peaked in the middle of the same month,and lasted about 80 days.Overall 302 HA caseswere found,192(53.58%)were 5-9 years old.One vaccinee and 25 control cases were found tohave hepatitis A,which account for 0.28%(1/356)and 5.92%(25/422)of all vaccinees andcontrols in the 14 villages,respectively.The protective efficacy of vaccines was 95.27%(95% Cl:85.83%-104.72%).In subjects testedfor anti-HAV IgM from 13 villages,1(0.40%)overt and 11(4.06%)asymptomatic HAV caseswere found in 271 vaccinees,but 21(6.69%)ofovert and asymptomatic ones were found in 314controls.CONCLUSION H2 strain vaccines were excellent in preventing overt hepatitis A, but not so effective in preventing asymptomatic hepatitis A virus infection. | 4 | Novel Kriging-Based Decomposed-Coordinated Approach for Estimating the Clearance Reliability of Assembled Structures显示文摘Turbine blisks are assembled using blades,disks and casings.They can endure complex loads at a high temperature,high pressure and high speed.The safe operation of assembled structures depends on the reliability of each component.Monte Carlo(MC)simulation is commonly used to analyze structural reliability,but this method needs to run thousands of computations.In order to assess the clearance reliability of assembled structures in an efficient and precise manner,the novel Kriging-based decomposed-coordinated(DC)(DCNK)approach is proposed by integrating the DC strategy,the Kriging model and the importance sampling-based Markov chain(MCIS)technique.In this method,the DC strategy is used to decompose a multi-objective problem into many single-objective problems.The relationships between these many single-objectives and the overall objective are then coordinated.The Kriging model is applied to establish the limit state functions of the single-objectives and multi-objective problems,while the MCIS method is used to assess the structural assembled clearance reliability.Moreover,a highly nonlinear complex compound function is first utilized to verify the DCNK model from a mathematical perspective.Then,the reliability of an aeroengine high-pressure turbine(HPT)blade-tip radial running clearance(BTRRC)is analyzed to validate the DCNK approach by considering thermo-structural interaction.The analytical results show that the reliability is 0.9976 when the allowance value of the BTTRC is 1.7650×10^(−3)m.Compared with different methodologies(including direct simulation,the classical Kriging model,and the weighted response surface method(WRSM)),the proposed method holds obvious advantages in computing time and precision,as well as simulation efficiency and precision.The efforts of this paper provide a useful approach to analyzing assembled clearance reliability and contribute to the development of structural reliability theory. | Da Teng Yunwen Feng Cheng Lu Chengwei Fei Jiaqi Liu Xiaofeng Xue | 2021 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021，，11： | 2 |

| 6 | Conceptual design of a Cs2LiLaBr6 scintillator‑based neutron total cross section spectrometer on the back‑n beam line at CSNS显示文摘To reduce the experimental uncertainty in the 235 U resonance energy region and improve the detection efficiency for neutron total cross section measurements compared with those obtained with the neutron total cross section spectrometer(NTOX), a dedicated lithium-containing scintillation detector has been developed on the Back-n beam line at the China Spallation Neutron Source. The Fast Scintillator-based Neutron Total Cross Section(FAST) spectrometer has been designed based on a Cs2Li La Br6(CLLB) scintillator considering the γ-ray flash and neutron environment on the Back-n beam line. The response of the CLLB scintillator to neutrons and γ-rays was evaluated with different 6Li/7 Li abundance ratios using Geant4. The neutron-γdiscrimination performance of the CLLB has been simulated considering different scintillation parameters, physical designs,and light readout modes. A cubic 6Li-enriched( > 90%) CLLB scintillator, which has a thickness of 4-9 mm and side length of no less than 50 mm to cover the Φ 50 mm neutron beam at the spectrometer position, has been proposed coupling to a side readout SiPM array to construct the FAST spectrometer. | 10 | Dynamic Changes of ORF1ab and N Gene Ct Values in COVID-19 Omicron Inpatients of Different Age Groups—Beijing Municipality,China,November-December 2022显示文摘Introduction:In November 2021,the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)Omicron variant was identified as the variant of concern and has since spread globally,replacing other cocirculating variants.To better understand the dynamic changes in viral load over time and the natural history of the virus infection,we analyzed the expression of the open reading frames 1ab(ORF1ab)and nucleocapsid(N)genes in patients infected with Omicron.Methods:We included patients initially admitted to the hospital for SARS-CoV-2 infection between November 5 and December 25,2022.We collected daily oropharyngeal swabs for quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction tests using commercial kits.We depicted the cycle threshold(Ct)values for amplification of ORF1ab and N genes from individual patients in age-specific groups in a time series.Results:A total of 480 inpatients were included in the study,with a median age of 59 years(interquartile range,42 to 78;range,16 to 106).In the<45-year-old age group,the Ct values for ORF1ab and N gene amplification remained below 35 for 9.0 and 11.5 days,respectively.In the≥80-year-old age group,the Ct values for ORF1ab and N genes stayed below 35 for 11.5 and 15.0 days,respectively,which was the longest among all age groups.The Ct values for N gene amplification took longer to rise above 35 than those for ORF1ab gene amplification.Conclusion:The time to test negative varied among different age groups,with viral nucleic acid shedding taking longer in older age groups compared to younger age groups.As a result,the time to resolution of Omicron infection increased with increasing age. | Qing Zhang Zhaomin Feng Yiwei Hao Lirong Wei Aibin Wang Zhixing Han Meimei Tian Sheng Sun Xin'gang Li Tianjiao Xue Xiangjing Kong Baoliang Li Cheng Kou Quanyi Wang Da Huo Linghang Wang | 2023 | China CDC weekly2023，5，8： | 0 |

| 17 | Improved Image Contrast Enhancement Based on Local Standard Deviation and Compared with Other Algorithms显示文摘An adaptive contrast enhancement (ACE) algorithm is presented in this paper, in which the contrast gain is determined by mapping the local standard deviation (LSD) histogram of an image to a Gaussian distribution function. The contrast gain is nonlinearly adjusted to avoid noise overenhancement and ringing artifacts while improving the detail contrast with less computational burden.
