| 1 | Conjunctival impression cytology in non-proliferative and proliferative diabetic retinopathy显示文摘AIM:To examine the integrity of the ocular surfaces of subjects with and without diabetes with no conjunctival and dry eye signs and symptoms and compare conjunctival impression cytology findings in diabetics with non-proliferative and proliferative diabetic retinopathy.METHODS:Conjunctival impression cytology was performed on 43 eyes of 43 subjects with nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR),42 eyes of 42subjects with proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR),and30 eyes of 30 control subjects.Impression cytology specimens of each group were graded and scored in the range 0-3 according to Nelson's method.RESULTS:There were 45(52.9%)women and 40(47.1%)men.The mean age of the patients was 59.6±9.3y(range,43-76y)in NPDR group and 58.0±8.8y(range,41-85y)in PDR group.Cases with NPDR and PDR showed statistically significant higher impression cytology scores than control group(P<0.05).There was no difference between the NPDR and PDR patients for impression cytology grading scores.CONCLUSION:It is determined that impression cytology grades are altered in patients with NPDR and PDR.Consequently,we suggest that there might be an association between the impression cytology grading scores and the severity of diabetic | Mehmet Citirik Nilufer Berker Hulya Haksever Ufuk Elgin Huseyin Ustun | 2014 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2014，7，2： | 2 |

| 9 | The impact of macular surgery in different grades of epiretinal membrane显示文摘AIM:To assess the impact of macular surgery on the functional and anatomic outcomes of the patients in different grades of epiretinal membrane(ERM).METHODS:Seventy-one eyes of 71 patients who underwent 23-gauge transconjunctival sutureless pars plana vitrectomy for primary isolated ERM were evaluated in this study.RESULTS:There were 38 females(53.5%) and 33 males(46.5%).The average age of the patients was 68.1 y(range 42-89 y).Mean follow up period was 14 mo(range 6-26 mo).The cases were divided into two subgroups of cellophane maculopathy(CM) and macular pucker(MP).An improvement was observed in the postoperative best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA),as well as a decrement in central foveal thickness(CFT) in both groups(both of these being statistically significant;P=0.001).In comparison between two groups,it was found that there was a significant improvement on BCVA and CFT in CM group than MP group(P=0.01).Furthermore,the postoperative fundus findings regarding RPE alterations and macular edema were significantly higher in MP group when compared to the CM group(P=0.01).CONCLUSION:ERM and internal limiting membrane peeling surgery can lead to a significant reduction of CFT and visual improvements in idiopathic ERM.A long-term ERM persistence will cause unrecoverable retinal damage and visual loss. | Cosar Batman Mehmet Citirik | 2017 | International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2017，10，12： | 1 |

| 12 | 原发性开角型青光眼和高眼压患者及正常人群结膜印迹细胞学检查的比较(英文)显示文摘目的:比较原发性开角型青光眼和高眼压患者及拥有健康眼球表面的正常人群的泪膜功能和印象细胞学检查的数值。 方法:此前瞻性研究中纳入了原发性开角型青光眼患者11例11眼(平均年龄:62.7±6.1岁),高眼压患者12例12眼(平均年龄:62.8±6.4岁)及健康人12例12眼(平均年龄:62.9±6.03岁)。这些患者均是最近被诊断出患有原发性开角型青光眼及高眼压,且之前未接受过抗青光眼方面的治疗。均行结膜印迹细胞学检查、泪膜破裂时间和基础泪液分泌试验。每组印迹细胞学检查的样本根据Nelson分级法分为0-3级。应用Kruskal-Wallis检验和Dunn多重比较检验进行统计分析。 结果:原发性开角型青光眼患者,高眼压患者及正常人群平均基础泪液分泌值分别为10.4±1.3,10.9±1.2和11.1±1.1 mm/5min,其差距没有统计学意义(P=0.33);三组的泪膜破裂时间分别为11.2±1.1,11.3±1.1和11.8±1.2s,其差距没有统计学意义(P=0.35)。原发性开角型青光眼患者中6眼(54.5%)为0级,5眼(45.5%)为1级。高眼压患者中6眼(50%)为0级,6眼(50%)为1级,健康人中6眼(50%)为0级,6只眼(50%)为1级(P=0.97)。 结论:氧化应激可能会导致青光眼,眼表疾病,泪腺功能障碍及机体杯状细胞所分泌的黏液减少。原发性开角型青光眼患者,高眼压症患者及健康人群间的印象细胞学检查数值并无显著差异。 | Ufuk Elgin Mehmet Citirik Hulya Haksever Emine Sen Faruk Ozturk Huseyin Ustun | 2015 | 国际眼科杂志2015，15，5： | 0 |
