1Effect of air annealing on the optical electrical and structural properties of In_2S_3 films显示文摘The effect of the annealing temperature Ta on the optical, electrical and structural properties of the In2S3 films obtained by the spray pyrolysis method at 350℃ substrate temperature was studied. All the In2S3 films annealed in the range from 100 to 400℃ are polycrystalline with (220) preferential orientation. The resistivity decreases as Ta increases until it reaches a value of 25 Ohm-cm for Ta=400℃. The grain size also increases when Ta increases as observed in data calculated from X-ray measurements. 9Is the possible fine-structure constant drift also a test of a time-dependent Planck constant?显示文摘The recent publication of spatial and distance variation of the fine-structure constant, α, derived from astronomical data of quasar emissions (QE) is exciting. The decreasing value of α over time, derived from data obtained from the Very Large Telescope (VLT) in Chile, encourages the search for other possible running constants. We surmise that emissions from distant supernovae, type Ia (SNe Ia), which are more blue than predictions are best explained by a decreasing Planck constant with increasing lookback time. We present some results from our theoretical work and comparison to the astronomical observations and suggest that both α and h might be running constants. More data are required to answer several questions about the origin of the 'drifting' α and the possible time dependence of h. Astronomical tools such as SNe and QE may be the best means to secure the exacting data needed to confirm or deny these hypotheses.ZTAS A. M. SMITH M. 10Effect of Water Concentration on the Characterization of Sprayed Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S Films显示文摘Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S film samples are prepared by a spray pyrolysis technique using aqueous solutions of CdC_(l2),ZnC_(l2),SC(NH2)2 and deionized water,which are atomized using compressed air as the carrier gas onto glass substrates with different water(H2O)concentrations.H2O is used as the activator.The prepared films are characterized by means of XRD and UV−VIS spectroscopy.Experimental results reveal that the structures and properties of the films are greatly affected by the H2O content.Water in a certain range of concentrations promotes the formation of the Cd_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)S films and improves the properties of the films.Sur S Öztürk Z Öztaş.M Bedir M Özdemir Y 2011Chinese Physics Letters2011,28,6:0
