| 1 | Inulin Can Alleviate Metabolism Disorders in ob/ob Mice by Partially Restoring Leptinrelated Pathways Mediated by Gut Microbiota显示文摘Inulin has been used as a prebiotic to alleviate glucose and lipid metabolism disorders in mice and humans by modulating the gut microbiota. However, the mechanism underlying the alleviation of metabolic disorders by inulin through interactions between the gut microbiota and host cells is unclear. We use ob/ob mice as a model to study the effect of inulin on the cecal microbiota by16 S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing and its interaction with host cells by transcriptomics. The inulin-supplemented diet improved glucose and lipid metabolism disorder parameters in ob/ob mice,alleviating fat accumulation and glucose intolerance. The a diversity of gut microbial community of ob/ob mice was reduced after inulin treatment, while the b diversity tended to return to the level of wild type mice. Interestingly, Prevotellaceae UCG 001(family Prevotellaceae) was obviously enriched after inulin treatment. A comparative analysis of the gene expression profile showed that the cecal transcriptome was changed in leptin gene deficiency mice, whereas the inulin-supplemented diet partially reversed the changes in leptin gene-related signaling pathways, especially AMPK signaling pathway, where the levels of gene expression became comparable to those in wild type mice.Further analysis indicated that Prevotellaceae UCG 001 was positively correlated with the AMPK signaling pathway, which was negatively correlated with markers of glycolipid metabolism disorders. | 3 | Photoinduced large polaron transport and dynamics in organic-inorganic hybrid lead halide perovskite with terahertz probes显示文摘Organic-inorganic hybrid metal halide perovskites(MHPs)have attracted tremendous attention for optoelectronic applications.The long photocarrier lifetime and moderate carrier mobility have been proposed as results of the large polaron formation in MHPs.However,it is challenging to measure the effective mass and carrier scattering parameters of the photogenerated large polarons in the ultrafast carrier recombination dynamics.Here,we show,in a one-step spectroscopic method,that the optical-pump and terahertz-electromagnetic probe(OPTP)technique allows us to access the nature of interplay of photoexcited unbound charge carriers and optical phonons in polycrystalline CH_(3)NH_(3)PbI_(3)(MAPbI_(3))of about 10μm grain size.Firstly,we demonstrate a direct spectral evidence of the large polarons in polycrystalline MAPbI_(3).Using the Drude-Smith-Lorentz model along with the Frӧhlich-type electron-phonon(e-ph)coupling,we determine the effective mass and scattering parameters of photogenerated polaronic carriers.We discover that the resulting moderate polaronic carrier mobility is mainly influenced by the enhanced carrier scattering,rather than the polaron mass enhancement.While,the formation of large polarons in MAPbI_(3)polycrystalline grains results in a long charge carrier lifetime at room temperature.Our results provide crucial information about the photo-physics of MAPbI3 and are indispensable for optoelectronic device development with better performance. | Zuanming Jin Yan Peng Yuqing Fang Zhijiang Ye Zhiyuan Fan Zhilin Liu Xichang Bao Heng Gao Wei Ren Jing Wu Guohong Ma Qianli Chen Chao Zhang Alexey VBalakin Alexander PShkurinov Yiming Zhu Songlin Zhuang | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,8: | 4 |

| 11 | Enrichment of anammox biomass during mainstream wastewater treatment driven by achievement of partial denitrification through the addition of bio-carriers显示文摘Anammox is widely considered as the most cost-effective and sustainable process for nitrogen removal.However,how to achieve the enrichment of anammox biomass remains a challenge for its large-scale application,especially in mainstream wastewater treatment.In this study,the feasibility of enrichment of anammox biomass was explored through the realization of partial denitrification and the addition of bio-carriers.By using ordinary activated sludge,a sequencing batch reactor(SBR)followed by an up-fow anaerobic sludge bed(UASB)was operated at 25±2℃ for 214 days.The long-term operation was divided into five phases,in which SBR and UASB were started-up in Phases I and II,respectively.By eliminating oxygen and adjusting the infow ratios in Phases III-V,advanced nitrogen removal was achieved with the effuent total nitrogen being 4.7 mg/L and the nitrogen removal efficiency being 90.5%in Phase V.Both in-situ and ex-situ activity tests demonstrated the occurrence of partial denitrification and anammox.Moreover,16S rRNA high-throughput sequencing analysis revealed that Candidatus Brocadia was enriched from below the detection limit to in biofilms(0.4%in SBR,2.2%in UASB)and the foc sludge(0.2%in SBR,1.3%in UASB),while Thauera was mainly detected in the foc sludge(8.1%in SBR,8.8%in UASB),which might play a key role in partial denitrification.Overall,this study provides a novel strategy to enrich anammox biomass driven by rapid achievement of partial denitrification through the addition of bio-carriers,which will improve large-scale application of anammox processes in mainstream wastewater treatment. | Yuqing Ma Bo Wang Xiaodi Li Shuo Wang Wen Wang Yongzhen Peng | 2024 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,3: | 1 |

Many of them have the problem of information leakage, or suffer from Man-In-TheMiddle attack. Some protocols can guarantee security, but have relatively low efficiency. Based on the above situation, we present a novel authenticated quantum dialogue protocol by using Bell states and entanglement swapping.In this protocol, we adopt Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen(EPR)pairs to detect eavesdropping and transmit secret messages. We employ polarized photons to achieve authentication of users' identity information. Compared with other quantum dialogue schemes with authentication, our protocol has several advantages. The transmitted particles are passed once and do not carry any secret messages. The proposed protocol can overcome the drawback of information leakage and resist against typical attacks. Methods:BM-MSCs were obtained from swine bone marrow and expanded in vitro to a purity of >50%. A myocardial infarction(MI) was created by ligating the distal left anterior descending artery in swine. Either BM-MSCs(5 × 106/ml) or Ad5-HGF(4 × 109 pfu) were transfused via the right coronary artery(non-infarcted artery) four weeks after MI. Gate-controled cardiac perfusion imaging was performed at the end of four and seven weeks after LAD ligation, to evaluate heart function and cardiac perfusion. Morphologic and histologic characteristics of the hearts were also studied. Results:(1)The gate-controlled cardiac perfusion imaging showed that the improvement in LVEF was greater in both treatment groups than in control group at the 4th weeks. (2)In both treatment groups, capillary density was significantly higher than that of control group(P < 0.05). | 19 | Mild hyperthermia synergized chemotherapy by Bi_(2)Se_(3)/MoSe_(2)nanosaucers for cancer treatment with negligible thermal resistance显示文摘Harsh photothermal temperatures(>50℃)caused heating damage to the normal tissues and induced thermal resistance in cancer cells,which significantly limited the safety and efficacy of photothermal therapy(PTT)in cancer treatment.Mild hyperthermia(<42℃)combined with chemotherapy might solve this issue.Herein,a novel transition metal dichalcogenides nanostructure,namely,Bi_(2)Se_(3)/MoSe_(2)nanosaucers(BMNSs),was designed to produce mild photo-hyperthermia(mPTT)and combined with chemotherapy to improve the overall antitumor efficacy.The BMNSs were constituted by Bi_(2)Se_(3)hexagonal nanoplates and enclosed with MoSe_(2)nanosheets evenly.While the MoSe_(2)moiety endowed the nanoplatform with excellent photothermal efficacy,the Bi_(2)Se_(3)substrates provided large specific surface area to anchor more doxorubicin(DOX)molecules as chemotherapeutic agent.Under the stimuli of mPTT/tumor acidic microenvironment,the tumor-specific drug release and the enhanced chemotherapy could be realized,showing impressive therapeutic outcomes against 4T1 cells.The synergetic therapeutic mechanism might be attributed to the mPTT induced cell membrane permeability,and interestingly,the expression of heat shock proteins 70 was not elevated obviously after the synergetic therapy,thus to avoid the tumor thermal resistance and further improve the therapeutic effect.The in vivo anti-tumoral performance of the BMNSs was further studied and complete tumor eradication was achieved without any recurrence and biotoxicity.Not only demonstrating a paradigm of high therapeutic efficacy of mild hyperthermia and synergistic chemotherapy for precise cancer therapy,our findings proved that the cancer therapeutic effect can be improved with minimal side effects through exquisite designing of the microstructures and the physiochemical properties of the nanoplatform. | Fei Gao Tingbin Zhang Yuqing Miao Huijun Ma Hui Guo Ruyi Jin Zhi Li Haifang Wang Haiming Fan Lingyun Zhao | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,9: | 1 |
