1Advances in locoregional therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma combined with immunotherapy and targeted therapy显示文摘Locoregional therapies(LRTs)of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)represented by ablation and TACE has become the main means for the clinical treatment of unresectable HCC.Among these,TACE is used throughout the stageⅠb toⅢb of HCC treatment.In recent years,immunotherapy led by immune checkpoint inhibitors has become a hot direction in clinical research.At the same time,targeted drugs such as Sorafenib and Apatinib have played an important role in the treatment and complementary therapy of advanced HCC,and their clinical application has been quite mature.HCC is the sixth most common malignant tumor in the world.When it comes to its treatment,different therapies have different indications,and their individual efficacies are not satisfactory,which makes the exploration of the use of combination therapy in HCC treatment become a new trend.In this paper,the status of the three therapies and the progress of their combined application are briefly reviewed.Jian Xue Hongbo Ni Fan Wang Ke Xu Meng Niu 2021Journal of Interventional Medicine2021,4,3:21
2Effects of applying lactic acid bacteria to the fermentation on a mixture of corn steep liquor and air-dried rice straw显示文摘This study was to determine the fermentation quality of a mixture of corn steep liquor(CSL)(178 g/kg wet basis) and air-dried rice straw(356 g/kg wet basis) after being treated with inoculants of different types of lactic acid bacteria(LAB). The treatments included the addition of no LAB additive(control),which was deionized water; homo-fermentative LAB alone(^(ho)LAB), which was Lactobacillus plantarum alone), and a mixture of homo-fermentative and hetero-fermentative LAB(^(he+ho)LAB), which were L. plantarum, Lactobacillus casei, and Lactobacillus buchneri. The results showed that the inoculation of the mixture of CSL and air-dried rice straw with ^(he+ho)LAB significantly increased the concentration of acetic acid and lactic acid compared with the control(P < 0.05). The addition of ^(he+ho)LAB effectively inhibited the growth of yeast in the silage. The concentration of total lactic acid bacteria in the ^(he+ho)LAB-treated silage was significant higher than those obtained in other groups(P < 0.05). The duration of the aerobic stability of the silages increased from 56 h to >372 h. The control group was the first to spoil, whereas the silage treated with ^(he+ho)LAB remained stable throughout the 372 h period of monitoring. 4Characteristics of the lunar samples returned by the Chang'E-5 mission显示文摘Forty-five years after the Apollo and Luna missions returned lunar samples,China's Chang’E-5(CE-5)mission collected new samples from the mid-latitude region in the northeastern Oceanus Procellarum of the Moon.Our study shows that 95%of CE-5 lunar soil sizes are found to be within the range of 1.40-9.35μm,while 95%of the soils by mass are within the size range of 4.84-432.27μm.The bulk density,true density and specific surface area of CE-5 soils are 1.2387 g/cm^(3),3.1952 g/cm^(3) and 0.56 m^(2)/g,respectively.Fragments from the CE-5 regolith are classified into igneous clasts(mostly basalt),agglutinate and glass.A few breccias were also found.The minerals and compositions of CE-5 soils are consistent with mare basalts and can be classified as low-Ti/low-Al/low-K type with lower rare-earth-element contents than materials rich in potassium,rare earth element and phosphorus.CE-5 soils have high FeO and low Mg index,which could represent a new class of basalt.Chunlai Li Hao Hu Meng-Fei Yang Zhao-Yu Pei Qin Zhou Xin Ren Bin Liu Dawei Liu Xingguo Zeng Guangliang Zhang Hongbo Zhang Jianjun Liu Qiong Wang Xiangjin Deng Caijin Xiao Yonggang Yao Dingshuai Xue Wei Zuo Yan Su Weibin Wen Ziyuan Ouyang 2022National Science Review2022,9,2:12
5La/Ce-codoped Bi_2O_3 composite photocatalysts with high photocatalytic performance in removal of high concentration dye显示文摘A series of La/Ce-codoped Bi_2O_3 composite photocatalysts were fabricated via hydrothermal–calcination process. The as-prepared products were intensively characterized by some physicochemical characterizations like N_2 physical adsorption, X-ray powder diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscope(SEM), transmission electron microscope(TEM), UV–Vis diffuse reflectance(UV–Vis DRS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),photoelectrochemical measurements, and photoluminescence(PL) spectroscopy. The characterization results indicated that La and Ce doping induced obvious crystal phase transformation in Bi_2O_3, from monoclinic to tetragonal phase. La and Ce codoping also gave rise to the obvious synergetic effects, e.g., the lattice contraction of Bi_2O_3, the decrease of crystal size and the increase of surface area. The photocatalytic performance of the prepared catalysts was evaluated by removal of dye acid orange II with high concentration under visible light irradiation. Results showed that La/Ce-codoped Bi_2O_3 displayed much higher photocatalytic performance than that of bare Bi_2O_3, single La or Ce doped Bi_2O_3 samples. 6Operation and Force Analysis of the Guide Wire in a Minimally Invasive Vascular Interventional Surgery Robot System显示文摘To develop a robot system for minimally invasive surgery is significant,however the existing minimally invasive surgery robots are not applicable in practical operations,due to their limited functioning and weaker perception.A novel wire feeder is proposed for minimally invasive vascular interventional surgery.It is used for assisting surgeons in delivering a guide wire,balloon and stenting into a specific lesion location.By contrasting those existing wire feeders,the motion methods for delivering and rotating the guide wire in blood vessel are described,and their mechanical realization is presented.A new resistant force detecting method is given in details.The change of the resistance force can help the operator feel the block or embolism existing in front of the guide wire.The driving torque for rotating the guide wire is developed at different positions.Using the CT reconstruction image and extracted vessel paths,the path equation of the blood vessel is obtained.Combining the shapes of the guide wire outside the blood vessel,the whole bending equation of the guide wire is obtained.That is a risk criterion in the delivering process.This process can make operations safer and man-machine interaction more reliable.A novel surgery robot for feeding guide wire is designed,and a risk criterion for the system is given.YANG Xue WANG Hongbo SUN Li YU Hongnian 2015Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2015,28,2:5
7Experimental research on rotating detonation with liquid hypergolic propellants显示文摘This paper describes experimental research into the initiation and propagation of rotating detonation for liquid Nitrogen TetrOxide(NTO) and liquid MonoMethylHydrazine(MMH).An annular rocket-type combustor without nozzle was designed to investigate detonation combustion. The propellants were injected through unlike impingement injectors. The combustion flame fronts and pressure waves were detected using optical diagnostics and dynamic pressure sensors,respectively. The propagation of rotating detonation was established spontaneously by increasing the mass flow rate of propellants. The velocity of propagation of the flame fronts and pressure waves was nearly equal and reaches supersonic speed. Two different detonation combustion patterns are present, single wave mode and double waves mode. And in double waves mode, the two detonation waves are always counter-rotating. The possibility of rotating detonation initiation in a combustor with nozzle was also checked. 8Impermeability of Y_3Al_5O_(12) ceramic against molten glassy calcium-magnesium-alumina-silicate显示文摘Degradation of thermal barrier coatings(TBCs) caused by calcium-magnesium-aluminasilica(CMAS) glassy penetration is becoming an urgent issue for TBCs industrial applications. In this work, yttrium aluminum garnet(Y_3Al_5O_(12), YAG) nano-powders were synthesized through a chemical co-precipitation route. The resistance of YAG ceramic to glassy CMAS infiltration at1250 °C was evaluated. YAG ceramic bulk sintered at 1700 °C for 10 h was comprised of a single garnet-type Y_3Al_5O_(12) phase. The molten CMAS glass was suppressed on the surface of the YAG ceramic at 1250 °C. 9Application of regional citrate anticoagulation in patients at high risk of bleeding during intermittent hemodialysis:a prospective multicenter randomized controlled trial显示文摘Objective:Safe and effective anticoagulation is essential for hemodialysis patients who are at high risk of bleeding.The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of two-stage regional citrate anticoagulation(RCA)combined with sequential anticoagulation and standard calcium-containing dialysate in intermittent hemodialysis(IHD)treatment.Methods:Patients at high risk of bleeding who underwent IHD from September 2019 to May 2021 were prospectively enrolled in 13 blood purification centers of nephrology departments,and were randomly divided into RCA group and saline flushing group.In the RCA group,0.04 g/mL sodium citrate was infused from the start of the dialysis line during blood draining and at the venous expansion chamber.The sodium citrate was stopped after 3 h of dialysis,which was changed to sequential dialysis without anticoagulant.The hazard ratios for coagulation were according to baseline.Results:A total of 159 patients and 208 sessions were enrolled,including RCA group(80 patients,110 sessions)and saline flushing group(79 patients,98 sessions).The incidence of severe coagulation events of extracorporeal circulation in the RCA group was significantly lower than that in the saline flushing group(3.64%vs.20.41%,P<0.001).The survival time of the filter pipeline in the RCA group was significantly longer than that in the saline flushing group((238.34±9.33)min vs.(221.73±34.10)min,P<0.001).The urea clearance index(Kt/V)in the RCA group was similar to that in the saline flushing group with no statistically significant difference(1.12±0.34 vs.1.08±0.34,P=0.41).Conclusions:Compared with saline flushing,the two-stage RCA combined with a sequential anticoagulation strategy significantly reduced extracorporeal circulation clotting events and prolonged the dialysis time without serious adverse events.Xiaoyan TANG Dezheng CHEN Ling ZHANG Ping FU Yanxia CHEN Zhou XIAO Xiangcheng XIAO Weisheng PENG Li CHENG Yanmin ZHANG Hongbo LI Kehui LI Bizhen GOU Xin WU Qian YU Lijun JIAN Zaizhi ZHU Yu WEN Cheng LIU Hen XUE Hongyu ZHANG Xin HE Bin YAN Liping ZHONG Bin HUANG Mingying MAO 2022Journal of Zhejiang University-Science B(Biomedicine & Biotechnology)2022,23,11:4
10Large System Analysis of Downlink C-RAN with Phase Noise and Fronthaul Compression显示文摘This paper studies the effect of phase noise and fronthaul compression on a downlink cloud radio access network(C-RAN), where several remote radio heads(RRHs) are coordinated to communicate with users by a baseband unit(BBU) on the cloud server. In the system, the baseband signals are precoded at BBU, and then compressed before being transmitted to RRHs through capacity-limited fronthaul links which results in the compressive quantization noise. We assume the regularized zero-forcing precoding is performed with an imperfect channel state information and a compression strategy is applied at BBU. The effect of phase noise arising from nonideal local oscillators both at RRHs and users is considered. We propose an approximate expression for the downlink ergodic sum-rate of considered C-RAN utilizing large dimensional random matrix theory in the large-system regime. 11SnRK1 Phosphorylates and Destabilizes WRKY3 to Enhance Barley Immunity to Powdery Mildew显示文摘Plants recognize pathogens and activate immune responses,which usually involve massive transcriptional reprogramming.The evolutionarily conserved kinase,Sucrose non-fermenting-related kinase 1(SnRK1),functions as a metabolic regulator that is essential for plant growth and stress responses.Here,we identify barley SnRK1 and a WRKY3 transcription factor by screening a cDNA library.SnRK1 interacts with WRKY3 in yeast,as confirmed by pull-down and luciferase complementation assays.Förster resonance energy transfer combined with noninvasive fluorescence lifetime imaging analysis indicates that the interaction occurs in the barley nucleus.Transient expression and virus-induced gene silencing analyses indicate that WRKY3 acts as a repressor of disease resistance to the Bgh fungus.Barley plants overexpressing WRKY3 have enhanced fungal microcolony formation and sporulation.Phosphorylation assays show that SnRK1 phosphorylates WRKY3 mainly at Ser83 and Ser112 to destabilize the repressor,and WRKY3 non-phosphorylation-null mutants at these two sites are more stable than the wild-type protein.SnRK1-overexpressing barley plants display enhanced disease resistance to Bgh.Transient expression of SnRK1 reduces fungal haustorium formation in barley cells,which probably requires SnRK1 nuclear localization and kinase activity.Together,these findings suggest that SnRK1 is directly involved in plant immunity through phosphorylation and destabilization of the WRKY3 repressor,revealing a new regulatory mechanism of immune derepression in plants.Xinyun Han Ling Zhang Lifang Zhao Pengya Xue Ting Qi Chunlei Zhang Hongbo Yuan Lixun Zhou Daowen Wang Jinlong Qiuand Qian-Hua Shen 2020Plant Communications2020,1,4:2
12CD38 deficiency alleviates Ang II-induced vascular remodeling by inhibiting small extracellular vesicle-mediated vascular smooth muscle cell senescence in mice显示文摘CD38 is the main enzyme for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide(NAD)degradation in mammalian cells.Decreased NAD levels are closely related to metabolic syndromes and aging-related diseases.Our study showed that CD38 deficiency significantly alleviated angiotensin II(Ang ll)-induced vascular remodeling in mice,as shown by decreased blood pressures;reduced vascular media thickness,media-to-lumen ratio,and collagen deposition;and restored elastin expression.However,our bone marrow transplantation assay showed that CD38 deficiency in lymphocytes led to lack of protection against Ang ll-induced vascular remodeling,suggesting that the effects of CD38 on Ang ll-induced vascular remodeling might rely primarily on vascular smooth muscle cells(VSMCs),not lymphocytes.In addition,we observed that CD38 deficiency or NAD supplementation remarkably mitigated Ang ll-induced vascular senescence by suppressing the biogenesis,secretion,and internalization of senescence-associated small extracellular vesicles(SA-sEVs),which facilitated the senescence of neighboring non-damaged VSMCs.Furthermore,we found that the protective effects of CD38 deficiency on VSMC senescence were related to restoration of lysosome dysfunction,particularly with respect to the maintenance of sirtuin-mediated mitochondrial homeostasis and activation of the mitochondria-lysosomal axis in VSMCs.In conclusion,our findings demonstrated that CD38 and its associated intracellular NAD decline are critical for Ang ll-induced VSMC senescence and vascular remodeling.Lu Gan Demin Liu Jing Liu Erya Chen Chan Chen Lian Liu Hang Hu Xiaohui Guan Wen Ma Yanzi Zhang Yarong He Bofu Liu Songling Tang Wei Jiang Jianxin Xue Hongbo Xin 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,7:2
13Impacts of Different Weeding Methods on Weeds Control in Tobacco Fields in Anshun City显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to explore weed control measures in tobacco fields in Anshun City. [Method] Different treatments on weed control were conducted in tobacco fields in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, from 2017 to 2019. [Result] Various treatments had no negative effect on tobacco plant growth in the field, and had different degrees of control effects on five dominant weeds, including Digitaria sanguinalis, Setaria viridis, Fagopyrum dibotrys, Commelina communis and Chenopodium album. White mulching film and 50% butralin·clomazone EC 160 m L/667 m^(2) + white mulching film had the worst performance, which had extremely significant or significant differences with other treatments. There was no sig-nificant difference among most treatments, and the overall effects were comprehensive(multi-factor) treatment > double factor treatment > single factor treatment. 15Evenness is important in assessing progress towards sustainable development goals显示文摘Sustainable development goals(SDGs)emphasize a holistic achievement instead of cherry-picking a few.However,no assessment has quantitatively considered the evenness among all 17 goals.Here,we propose a systematic method,which first integrates both the evenness and the overall status of all goals,to distinguish the ideal development pathways from the uneven ones and then revisit the development trajectory in China from 2000 to 2015.Our results suggest that,despite the remarkable progress,a bottleneck has occurred in China since 2013 due to the stagnant developments in some SDGs.However,many far-reaching policies in China have been targeting these deficiencies since then,providing a perspective on how a country approaches sustainable development by promoting evenness among all SDGs.Our results also indicate that regions with the slowest progress are the developed provinces,owing to the persistent uneven status of all goals.Our study demonstrates the importance of adopting evenness in assessing and guiding sustainable development.Yali Liu Jianqing Du Yanfen Wang Xiaoyong Cui Jichang Dong Yanbin Hao Kai Xue Hongbo Duan Anquan Xia Yi Hu Zhi Dong Bingfang Wu Xinquan Zhao Bojie Fu 2021National Science Review2021,8,8:1

18Pd single atoms cooperate with S vacancies in ZnIn_(2)S_(4) nanosheets for photocatalytic pure-water splitting显示文摘Photocatalytic water splitting has emerged as a new frontier for converting solar energy to green H_(2) and value-added chemicals.Nevertheless,great challenges still remain for developing efficient photocatalysts for pure water splitting without sacrificial agents.In this work,we demonstrate that doping hexagonal ZnIn_(2)S_(4)(ZIS) with Pd single atoms(Pd_(0.03)/ZIS) can serve as a highly efficient photocatalyst for pure water splitting to simultaneously produce H_(2) and H_(2)O_(2) without any sacrificial agents.Results from aberration-corrected high-angle annular dark field scanning transmission electron microscopy,X-ray fine spectroscopy,insitu electron paramagnetic resonance and diffuse Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy reveal that doping ZIS with Pd single atoms facilitates the formation of S vacancies(S_(v)),where the photogenerated electrons can transfer to Pd single atoms,as a result of enhanced separation of electron-hole pairs and improved photocatalytic performance.Impressively,Pd_(0.03)/ZIS displays a stoichiometric ratio of H_(2) and H_(2)O_(2) with the productivity of 1,037.9 and 1,021.4μmol g^(-1)h^(-1),respectively,which has largely outperformed pure ZIS and other reported catalysts for pure water splitting.This work provides an efficient photocatalyst for water splitting to produce H_(2) and H_(2)O_(2),which may attract rapid interest in materials science,chemistry,and heterogeneous catalysis.Lin Sun Huiping Peng Fei Xue Shangheng Liu Zhiwei Hu Hongbo Geng Xiaozhi Liu Dong Su Yong Xu Xiaoqing Huang 2024Science China Chemistry2024,67,3:0

20Simultaneously achieving high energy density and responsivity in submicron BaTiO_(3) film capacitors integrated on Si显示文摘In the research field of energy storage dielectrics,the“responsivity”parameter,defined as the recyclable/recoverable energy density per unit electric field,has become critically important for a comprehensive evaluation of the energy storage capability of a dielectric.In this work,high recyclable energy density and responsivity,i.e.,W_(rec)=161.1 J·cm^(-3) and ξ=373.8 J·(kV·m^(2))^(-1),have been simultaneously achieved in a prototype perovskite dielectric,BaTiO_(3),which is integrated on Si at 500℃ in the form of a submicron thick film.This ferroelectric film features a multi-scale polar structure consisting of ferroelectric grains with different orientations and inner-grain ferroelastic domains.A LaNiO_(3) buffer layer is used to induce a{001}textured,columnar nanograin microstructure,while an elevated deposition temperature promotes lateral growth of the nanograins(in-plane diameter increases from~10-20 nm at lower temperatures to~30 nm).These preferably oriented and periodically regulated nanograins have resulted in a small remnant polarization and a delayed polarization saturation in the film’s P-E behavior,leading to a high recyclable energy density.Meanwhile,an improved polarizability/dielectric constant of the BaTiO_(3) film has produced a much larger maximum polarization than those deposited at lower temperatures at the same electric field,leading to a record-breaking responsivity for this simple perovskite.Jun Ouyang Yinxiu Xue Chuanqi Song Meiling Yuan Kun Wang Yuyao Zhao Hongbo Cheng Hanfei Zhu Chao Liu 2024Journal of Advanced Ceramics2024,13,2:0
