2护理本科生整体临床能力评估工具的汉化和信效度检验显示文摘目的翻译护理本科生整体临床能力评估工具(holistic clinical assessmenttool,HCAT),并检验其信效度。方法以Brislin翻译模型进行直译和回译,采用专家咨询法和预调查对中文版HCAT进行跨文化调适。采用方便抽样法选取安徽省两所医学院校889名护理本科生为研究对象进行调查,分析量表的信、效度。结果中文版HCAT的Cronbach’sα系数为0.965,重测信度为0.928,量表平均内容效度为0.972,探索性因素分析共提取5个公因子,方差累积贡献率为60.428%。根据源量表因子结构,将因子2和因子5合并,形成“专业、法律与伦理实践”、“临床照护”、“领导与护理管理”、“专业发展”4个维度。验证性因素分析结果显示中文版HCAT4因子模型拟合度良好。结论中文版HCAT具有良好信效度,可作为我国护理本科生整体临床能力的评估工具。虞苗 何红叶 葛晓玲 宋永霞 WU Xi Vivien 洪静芳 2019解放军护理杂志2019,36,6:8
3Distribution of pericellular matrix molecules in the temporomandibular joint and their chondroprotective effects against inflammation显示文摘The objectives of this study were to(1) determine the distribution and synthesis of pericellular matrix(PCM) molecules(collagen VI, collagen IV and laminin) in rat temporomandibular joint(TMJ) and(2) investigate the effects of PCM molecules on chondrocytes against inflammation in osteoarthritis. Four zones(fibrous, proliferating, mature and hypertrophic) of condylar cartilage and three bands(anterior, intermediate and posterior) of disc were analysed by immunohistochemistry for the presence of PCM molecules in rat TMJs. Isolated chondrocytes were pre-treated with PCM molecules before being subjected to interleukin(IL)-1β treatment to stimulate inflammation. The responses of the chondrocytes were analysed using gene expression, nitric oxide release and matrix metalloproteinase(MMP)-13 production measures. Histomorphometric analyses revealed that the highest areal deposition of collagen VI(67.4%), collagen IV(45.7%) and laminin(52.4%) was in the proliferating zone of TMJ condylar cartilage. No significant difference in the distribution of PCM molecules was noted among the three bands of the TMJ disc. All three PCM molecules were expressed intracellularly by chondrocytes cultured in the monolayer. Among the PCM molecules, pre-treatment with collagen VI enhanced cellular proliferation, ameliorated IL-1β-induced MMP-3, MMP-9, MMP-13 and inducible nitric oxide synthase gene expression, and attenuated the downregulation of cartilage matrix genes, including collagen I, aggrecan and cartilage oligomeric matrix protein(COMP). Concurrently, collagen VI pretreatment inhibited nitric oxide and MMP-13 production. 4低碳氮比对蛋鸡粪与蔗渣好氧堆肥的影响显示文摘通过对低碳氮比(C/N)的蛋鸡粪与蔗渣好氧堆肥研究,旨在探讨充分利用蔗渣资源开展蛋鸡粪资源化利用的现实性与可行性。试验将蛋鸡粪与蔗渣混合制成C/N比值分别为17.88和13.94的两个处理组,好氧堆肥,测定6周堆肥过程中堆体温度、物料C/N、水溶性碳、水溶性氮、铵态氮、硝态氮、全钾、总磷含量的变化。结果表明:2个堆体温度都能快速升至50℃以上,并维持3周,但C/N17.88组更快升至60℃并在此温度维持时间较长,同时加快了物料铵态氮向硝态氮转化,相对缩短了物料腐熟时间;C/N13.94组铵态氮较高,pH值也高,N素损失较多,延长了腐熟时间;蔗渣可导致堆肥物料可利用碳少。分析表明,在减少N素损失和提高蔗渣降解率的措施下,低C/N的蛋鸡粪与蔗渣好氧堆肥在生产上具可行性。Djogbenou Cocou Igor Vivien 李有建 廖新俤 胡博 吴银宝 2011中国家禽2011,33,3:4
5Review of anticancer mechanisms of isoquercitin显示文摘This review was based on a literature search of PubM ed and Scielo databases using the keywords 'quercetin,rutin,isoquercitrin,isoquercitin(IQ),quercetin-3-glucoside,bioavailability,flavonols and favonoids,and cancer' and combinations of all the words.We collected relevant scientific publications from 1990 to 2015 about the absorption,bioavailability,chemoprevention activity,and treatment effects as well as the underlying anticancer mechanisms of isoquercitin.Flavonoids are a group of polyphenolic compounds widely distributed throughout the plant kingdom.The subclass of flavonols receives special attention owing to their health benefits.The main components of this class are quercetin,rutin,and IQ,which is a flavonoid and although mostly found as a glycoside,is an aglycone(lacks a glycoside side chain).This compound presents similar therapeutic profiles to quercetin but with superior bioavailability,resulting in increased efficacy compared to the aglycone form.IQ has therapeutic applications owing to its wide range of pharmacological effects including antioxidant,antiproliferative,anti-inflammatory,anti-hypertensive,and anti-diabetic.The protective effects of IQ in cancer may be due to actions on lipid peroxidation.In addition,the antitumor effect of IQ and its underlying mechanism are related to interactions with Wnt signaling pathway,mixed-lineage protein kinase 3,mitogen-activated protein kinase,apoptotic pathways,as well proinflammatory protein signaling.This review contributed to clarifying the mechanisms of absorption,metabolism,and actions of IQ and isoquercitrin in cancer.Guilherme di Camillo Orfali Ana Carolina Duarte Vivien Bonadio Natalia Peres Martinez Maria Elisa Melo Branco de Araújo Fernanda Bruschi Marinho Priviero Patricia Oliveira Carvalho Denise Gon?alves Priolli 2016World Journal of Clinical Oncology2016,7,2:4
6A Highly Efficient Agrobacterium-Mediated Method for Transient Gene Expression and Functional Studies in Multiple Plant Species显示文摘Although the use of stable transformation technology has led to great insight into gene function,its application in high-throughput studies remains arduous.Agro-infiltration have been widely used in species such as Nicotiana benthamiana for the rapid detection of gene expression and protein interaction analysis,but this technique does not work efficiently in other plant species,including Arabidopsis thaliana.As an efficient high-throughput transient expression system is currently lacking in the model plant species A.thaliana,we developed a method that is characterized by high efficiency,reproducibility,and suitability for transient expression of a variety of functional proteins in A.thaliana and 7 other plant species,including Brassica oleracea,Capsella rubella,Thellungiella salsuginea,Thellungiella halophila,Solanum tuberosum,Capsicum annuum,and N.benthamiana.Efficiency of this method was independently verified in three independent research facilities,pointing to the robustness of this technique.Furthermore,in addition to demonstrating the utility of this technique in a range of species,we also present a case study employing this method to assess protein–protein interactions in the sucrose biosynthesis pathway in Arabidopsis.Youjun Zhang Moxian Chen Beata Siemiatkowska Mitchell Rey Toleco Yue Jing Vivien Strotmann Jianghua Zhang Yvonne Stahl Alisdair R.Fernie 2020Plant Communications2020,1,5:4
7Nonlinear optical properties of integrated GeSbS chalcogenide waveguides显示文摘In this paper, we report the experimental characterization of highly nonlinear Ge Sb S chalcogenide glass waveguides.We used a single-beam characterization protocol that accounts for the magnitude and sign of the real and imaginary parts of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility of integrated Ge23 Sb7 S70(GeSbS) chalcogenide glass waveguides in the near-infrared wavelength range at λ =1580 nm. We measured a waveguide nonlinear parameter of 7.0±0.7 W^(-1)· m(-1), which corresponds to a nonlinear refractive index of n_2=0.93±0.08 × 10^(-18) m^2∕W,comparable to that of silicon, but with an 80 times lower two-photon absorption coefficient βTPA=0.010± 0.003 cm∕GW, accompanied with linear propagation losses as low as 0.5 dB/cm. 8上海市浦东新区低龄儿童龋危险因素分析显示文摘目的:建立幼儿园儿童的前瞻性队列,纵向研究低龄儿童龋的发病原因。方法:采用整群随机抽样方法,在上海市浦东新区城郊各抽取1所幼儿园,共240名小班儿童加入本研究。采用SPSS 21.0软件包中的χ2检验、方差分析、二项logistic回归模型和一般线性回归模型,对该队列儿童基线及随访1年后的龋患情况进行分析。结果:该队列研究前2年随访率为88.3%,基线和随访第1年儿童患龋率分别为58.3%,69.8%,龋均分别为3.1±4.2、4.5±4.9,56.1%的儿童发生新龋。Logistic回归分析显示,居住在郊区(P=0.010)和吃糖果频率较高(P=0.036)的儿童,新发龋率较高。一般线性回归方程结果显示,郊区儿童(P<0.001),未使用含氟牙膏(P=0.003)以及吃糖果频率较高(P=0.002)的儿童,新发龋均较高。结论:居住在郊区、未使用含氟牙膏以及进食糖果频率较高,是学龄前儿童新发龋的重要危险因素。吴日玥 曹桂芝 Vivien FENG 冯希平 陈曦 韩晓兰 2020上海口腔医学2020,29,4:3

10Hybrid silicon slotted photonic crystal waveguides:how does third order nonlinear performance scale with slow light?显示文摘We investigate in this paper the influence of slow light on the balance between the Kerr and two-photon absorption(TPA) processes in silicon slotted hybrid nonlinear waveguides. Three typical silicon photonic waveguide geometries are studied to estimate the influence of the light slow-down factor on the mode field overlap with the silicon region, as well as on the complex effective nonlinear susceptibility. It is found that slotted photonic crystal modes tend to focalize in their hollow core with increasing group index(n_G) values. Considering a hybrid integration of nonlinear polymers in such slotted waveguides, a relative decrease of the TPA process by more factor of 2 is predicted from n_G=10 to n_G=50. 11Prevalence of advanced liver fibrosis and steatosis in type-2 diabetics with normal transaminases:A prospective cohort study显示文摘BACKGROUND Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)and type-2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)have an intricate bidirectional relationship.Individuals with T2DM,not only have a higher prevalence of non-alcoholic steatosis,but also carry a higher risk of progression to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis.Experts still differ in their recommendations of screening for NAFLD among patients with T2DM.AIM To study the prevalence of NAFLD and advanced fibrosis among our patient population with T2DM.METHODS During the study period(November 2018 to January 2020),59 adult patients with T2DM and 26 non-diabetic control group individuals were recruited prospectively.Patients with known significant liver disease and alcohol use were excluded.Demographic data and lab parameters were recorded.Liver elastography was performed in all patients.RESULTS In the study group comprised of patients with T2DM and normal alanine aminotransferase levels(mean 17.8±7 U/L),81%had hepatic steatosis as diagnosed by elastography.Advanced hepatic fibrosis(stage F3 or F4)was present in 12%of patients with T2DM as compared to none in the control group.Patients with T2DM also had higher number of individuals with grade 3 steatosis[45.8%vs 11.5%,(P<0.00001)and metabolic syndrome(84.7%vs 11.5%,P<0.00001)].CONCLUSION A significant number of patients with T2DM,despite having normal transaminase levels,have NAFLD,grade 3 steatosis and advanced hepatic fibrosis as measured by liver elastography.Jasbir Makker Hassan Tariq Kishore Kumar Madhavi Ravi Danial Haris Shaikh Vivien Leung Umar Hayat Muhammad T Hassan Harish Patel Suresh Nayudu Sridhar Chilimuri 2021World Journal of Gastroenterology2021,27,6:2
12Thrombolysis of stroke mimics via telestroke显示文摘Background The rate of intravenous tissue plasminogen activator(IVtPA)administered to stroke mimics(SM)occurs in 24%-44%of telestroke series.Methods We reviewed 270 suspected acute ischaemic stroke(AIS)patients who were evaluated by telestroke and received IVtPA from 1 July 2016 to 30 September 2017 at our academic comprehensive stroke centre.Results Among 270 AIS patients who received IVtPA via telestroke,64(23.7%)were diagnosed with SM.Compared with patients who had a stroke,the SM group was younger(mean age 56.4 vs 68.2,p<0.0001),more likely to be female(60.9%vs 45.6%,p=0.0324)and had longer door-to needle times(85.3 vs 69.9,p=0.0008).The most common SM diagnoses were migraine 26(40.6%),conversion disorder 12(18.8%),encephalopathy 7(10.9%)and unmasking(9.4%).Among the SM,migraine and conversion disorder were younger compared with the other subgroups(p<0.001).Functional exam elements were noted more frequently in conversion disorder(66.7%)and migraine(34.6%),but rare in other diagnoses(p=0.006).Among the SM,23(35.9%)had a history of a prior similar episodes,and 15(23.4%)had a history of more than 5 spells.Conclusions In our telestroke programme,23.7%of those administered thrombolysis had a final diagnosis of SM.Vivien H Lee Ravyn Howell Randheer Yadav Sharon Heaton Karen L Wiles Sushil Lakhani 2022Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,3:2

1825 Gbps low-voltage hetero-structured silicongermanium waveguide pin photodetectors for monolithic on-chip nanophotonic architectures显示文摘Near-infrared germanium(Ge) photodetectors monolithically integrated on top of silicon-on-insulator substrates are universally regarded as key enablers towards chip-scale nanophotonics, with applications ranging from sensing and health monitoring to object recognition and optical communications. In this work, we report on the highdata-rate performance pin waveguide photodetectors made of a lateral hetero-structured silicon-Ge-silicon(Si-Ge-Si) junction operating under low reverse bias at 1.55 μm. The pin photodetector integration scheme considerably eases device manufacturing and is fully compatible with complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor technology. In particular, the hetero-structured Si-Ge-Si photodetectors show efficiency-bandwidth products of^9 GHz at-1 V and ~30 GHz at-3 V, with a leakage dark current as low as ~150 nA, allowing superior signal detection of high-speed data traffic. A bit-error rate of 10-9 is achieved for conventional 10 Gbps, 20 Gbps, and25 Gbps data rates, yielding optical power sensitivities of-13.85 dBm,-12.70 dBm, and-11.25 dBm, respectively. 19English Private Tutoring in Macao:Perceptions of Senior Secondary Three Students显示文摘Purpose:This article examines how individual,school,and social factors shape the perceptions of students in Senior Secondary Three(SS3;in some schools called Form Six[F6])toward English private tutoring in Macao.Design/Approach/Methods:This is a comparative study of two F6 classes of an English-medium secondary school and four SS3 classes of a Chinese-medium secondary school in Macao,with a total number of 145 students.Mixed-methods approach(questionnaires and interviews)is employed in the study.Findings:The respondents’participation in English tutoring is not very intensive.They prefer to receive government-subsidized after-school tutoring taught by their schoolteachers more than feepaying English tutoring taught by tutors outside.Low level of social competition and high tertiary enrollment rates contribute to this phenomenon.Students’needs and beliefs in English learning play key roles in determining their receipt of English tutoring.Originality/Value:Teachers may need better understanding of their students’needs so as to design suitable pedagogies.Schools can consider more fully the types of tutoring that they provide for different kinds of pupils.The government-subsidized after-school tutoring could be a plausible way to reduce educational inequality.Vivien Nga Man Chan 2019ECNU Review of Education2019,2,1:2
20Interplay between Perovskite Magic-Sized Clusters and Amino Lead Halide Molecular Clusters显示文摘Recent progress has been made on the synthesis and characterization of metal halide perovskite magic-sized clusters(PMSCs)with ABX_(3)composition(A=CH_(3)NH_(3)^(+)or Cs^(+),B=Pb^(2+),and X=Cl^(−),Br^(−),or I^(−)).However,their mechanism of growth and structure is still not well understood.In our effort to understand their structure and growth,we discovered that a new species can be formed without the CH_(3)NH_(3)^(+)component,which we name as molecular clusters(MCs).Specifically,CH_(3)NH_(3)PbBr_(3)PMSCs,with a characteristic absorption peak at 424 nm,are synthesized using PbBr_(2)and CH_(3)NH_(3)Br as precursors and butylamine(BTYA)and valeric acid(VA)as ligands,while MCs,with an absorption peak at 402 nm,are synthesized using solely PbBr_(2)and BTYA,without CH3NH3Br.Interestingly,PMSCs are converted spontaneously overtime into MCs.An isosbestic point in their electronic absorption spectra indicates a direct interplay between the PMSCs and MCs.Therefore,we suggest that the MCs are precursors to the PMSCs.From spectroscopic and extended X-ray absorption fine structure(EXAFS)results,we propose some tentative structural models for the MCs.The discovery of the MCs is critical to understanding the growth of PMSCs as well as larger perovskite quantum dots(PQDs)or nanocrystals(PNCs).Evan T.Vickers Ziyi Chen Vivien Cherrette Tyler Smart Peng Zhang Yuan Ping Jin Z.Zhang 2021Research2021,,1:2
