1Metallogenesis related to Mesozoic Granitoids in the Nanling Range, South China and Their Geodynamic Settings显示文摘Affected by the compressive stress from the South-Central (Indo-China) Peninsula, the Indosinianorogenesis, characterized by collision, thrust and uplifting, took place inside the South China Plate during 250?230 Ma.The ages of the Indosinian granitoids in the Nanling Range and vicinity areas are mostly 240?205 Ma, indicating that theywere emplaced in both late collision and post-collision geodynamic environments. No important granite-relatedmetallogenesis occurred in this duration. A post-orogenic setting started at the beginning of the Yanshanian Period, whichcontrolled large-scale granitic magmatism and related metallogenesis. This paper makes the first attempt to divide theYanshanian Period into three sub-periods, i.e. the early, middle and late Yanshanian Periods, based mainly on the featuresof magmatism, especially granitoids and related metallogenesis and their geodynamic environments. The magmaticassociation of the Early Yanshanian (about 185?170 Ma) comprises four categories of magmatism, i.e. basalt, bimodalvolcanics, A-type granite and intraplate high-K calc-alkaline (HKCA) magmatism, which indicates an extension-thinningof lithosphere and upwelling of mantle material to a relative small and local extent. Pb-Zn, Cu and Au mineralizationsassociated with HKCA magmatism represents the first high tide of Mesozoic metallogenesis in the Nanling Range area.During the middle Yanshanian, the lithosphere was subjected to more extensive and intensive extending and thinning, andhence mantle upwelling and basaltic magma underplating caused a great amount of crust remelting granitoids. This periodcan be further divided into two stages. The first stage (170?150 Ma) is represented by large-scale emplacement of crustremelting granites with local tungsten mineralization at its end. The second stage (150?140 Ma) is the most important timeof large-scale mineralizations of non-ferrous and rare metals, e.g. W, Sn, Nb-Ta, Bi, Mo, Be, in the Nanling Range area.The late Yanshanian (140?65 Ma) was generally characterized by full extension and breakup of the lithosphere of SouthChina. However, owing to the influence of the Pacific Plate movement, the eastern part of South China was predominatedby subduction-related compression, which resulted in magmatism of calc-alkaline and shoshonite series and relatedmetallogeneses of Au, Ag, Pb-Zn, Cu and (Mo, Sn), followed by extension in its late stage. 2Attenuation of graft ischemia-reperfusion injury by urinary trypsin inhibitor in mouse intestinal transplantation显示文摘AIM: Ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury is one of the major obstacles for intestinal transplantation (ITx). Urinary trypsin inhibitor (Ulinastatin, UTI) suppresses proteases and stabilizes lysosomal membranes. We supposed that Ulinastatin would diminish I/R injury of intestinal graft.METHODS: UTI- treated group and untreated control group were investigated by histological assessment at 1.5, 4, 24, and 72 h after ITx. Myeloperoxidase (MPO)activity was used as the activity of neutrophils, and malondialdehyde (MDA) was used as an index of lipid peroxidation. TNFα and i-NOS mRNA expression in graft tissue were measured by semi-quantitative RT-PCR.CD11b+ Gr1+ cells in graft lamina propria were analyzed by flow cytometry.RESULTS: Histological scores of the graft showed that the tissue injury was markedly attenuated by UTI treatment at different time points after ITx, with reduced MPO and MDA value in the grafts. 3Comparison of two bedside evaluation methods of dysphagia in patients with acute stroke显示文摘Background Dysphagia is a common complication after stroke.Water swallowing test(WST)is a recognised but limited tool in providing details about dysphagia,including severity and how to adjust the diet based on the test results.Methods We performed a prospective observational study of comparing WST and volume-viscosity swallow test(V-VST)in patients with acute stroke within 14 days.All patients had WST and if failed would have a V-VST.The primary outcome was to compare the dysphagia levels assessed by these two test tools.The secondary outcome was to explore the predictive capability in patients who were at high risk of pneumonia by these two swallowing tests.results Consecutively 276 patients with stroke were enrolled in our study,and 197 had normal WST.Among 79 patients who had both WST and V-VST,20 showed swallowing safety and effectiveness by V-VST.The chance of being on tube feeding was strongly related to the positive results of failed WST(p<0.001).Both tests showed good predictive ability in patients with stroke for pneumonia even some of them were placed on tube feeding(p=0.001 in WST and p<0.001 in V-VST).Conclusions V-VST performed better as a clinical screening test for dysphagia in patients with acute stroke at the bedside.Trial registration number ChiCTR1800016442.Ting Ye Shengyan Huang Yi Dong Qiang Dong 2018Stroke & Vascular Neurology2018,3,4:13

5Effect of berberine on activity and mRNA expression of N-acetyl transferase in human lung cancer cell line A549显示文摘OBJECTIVE:Tostudy the effects of berberine on activity and mRNA expression of N-acetyltransferase in human lung cancer cell lineA549.METHODS: N-acetyltransferase antibodies were prepared. The human lung cancer A549 cells were cultivated randomly in the wells of culture plate,and divided into the control group, and berberine0.0008, 0.008, 0.08, 0.8 and 1.6 mM treatment groups,with 3 wells for each group.24h later,A549 cells in each group were collected respectively, the content of N-acetyltransferase was detected by Flow cytometry, and the mRNA expression of N-acetyltransferase was observed by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS: The N-acetyltransferase content in human lung cancer A549 cells decreased with the increasing of berberine concentration, significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.001); and the mRNA expression of N-acetyltransferase also decreased with the increasing of berberine concentration, significantly lower in Huangliansu treatment groups(P<0.001).CONCLUSION: Berberine can inhibit the activity of N-acetyltransferase in human lung cancer cell line A549, and shows negative correlations of dose and time in a certain extent.The inhibited gene expression of N-acetyltransferase in human lung cancer A549 cell may probably represent one of the mechanisms for itsantineoplastic effect.Shengyan Xi Kunhan Chuang Kwangming Fang Yimin Lee Jinggung Chung Yaochen Chuang 2014Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2014,34,3:6
6Effects of Corridor Networks on Plant Species Composition and Diversity in an Intensive Agriculture Landscape显示文摘The development of modern agriculture has resulted in much homogenization of the landscape consisting of large patches of farmland,so small remnant non-crop habitats especially linear corridors play an important role in the conservation of species and the maintenance of ecosystem functions.However,little attention has been paid to the effects of corridors structural characteristics on the plant species restricted to such habitats.In this study,we selected three types of corridors including ditch,hedgerow and road,and analyzed their structural characteristics.The plant species presented in these corridors were investigated,and the species diversity,abundance and frequency were estimated.Moreover,spatial arrangements of corridors were classified into different types to discuss whether there were significant effects of corridor network on plant distribution.The results show that three types of corridors have different effects on plant species composition and diversity.The one-one combined corridor networks and total network associated by three corridors have more complex structural features than each single type of corridor.However,there is no strong correlation between the corridor networks with their plant species.We suggest that carrying out a pointed vegetation survey at corridor intersections to further test the relationships between structural features of corridor and plants is necessary.TANG Qian LIANG Guofu LU Xunling DING Shengyan 2014Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,1:6
7Regional agricultural landscape pattern changes along the Yellow River in Henan Province from 1987 to 2002显示文摘Agricultural landscape along the riparian zones is designated as important landscape components for partly controlling water quality, biodiversity, as well as for their aesthetic role in landscapes.Therefore,the change ofagriculturallandscape along the riparian zonesisatthe top ofthe agenda for many policy makers and landscape planners.As a basis for conservation management, sufficient information about landscape structure should be provided. In the present study, we reconstructed the formerlandscape structure and elucidated the changesin landscape patternsduring a period ofabout15 years.Two sets ofmaps were used:a landsat-5 TM image (1987)and landsat-7 ETM image (2002).The frequency index,landscape diversity index and landscape fragmentation index were calculated foranalyses.The results showed that:(1)the areas ofthe irrigated land,river,forest and beach landscape classespresented a decreasing trend while the areasoflandscape classesofpool, paddy fields,dry land and construction land increased.(2) Disturbed by human activity,landscape diversity index increased butlandscape fragmentation index decreased.In short,Human activitieshave had importantinfluences on agriculturallandscape of the riparian zones along the Yellow River in Henan Province.LIANG Guofu DING Shengyan LI Zhiheng 2005Journal of Geographical Sciences2005,15,4:5
8Toxicity and clinical reasonable application of Taoren(Semen Persicae) based on ancient and modern literature research显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To probe the toxicity and relative application theory of the commonly-used traditional Chinese herbal drug Taoren(Semen Persicae),and set up a correct attitude and principle and method to use Taoren(Semen Persicae) for treating the syndrome of stagnation of blood stasis and others in TCM clinic.METHODS:In this study,we analyzed and probed the ancient and modern literature research about Taoren(Semen Persicae),and summarized the realization of its toxicity and application contraindications in ancient herbals and the research assertion of its processing,drug-nature,pharmacologic actions,adverse reaction,and clinical reasonable application in modern literature.RESULTS:We found that some TCM doctors were worried about the effect of Taoren(Semen Persicae) 's disintegrating blood stasis to impair body's healthy Qi and its toxicity,and were not good at using this herb.And some patients were afraid of its toxic and side-effect not to take it.In the ancient and modern literatures some proper hates of Taoren(Semen Persicae) existed,and the toxicity component was also clear-cut,and the applications of Taoren(Semen Persicae) were in many fields especially the gynecological and traumatological diseases.The key root of toxicity generation and unreasonable application of Taoren(Semen Persicae) lies in taking without syndrome differentiation or using with overdosage.CONCLUSION:Under the precondition of correct processing,treatment based on syndrome differentiation,and taking the dosage stipulated by laws to apply Taoren(Semen Persicae) should be quite safe.The ancient and modern literature records and researches about Taoren(Semen Persicae) provide the determinate reference for understanding Taoren(Semen Persicae)'s efficacy and drug-nature(toxicity) more objectively and also for further correctly clinic recognition and research on Taoren(Semen Persicae).Shengyan Xi Linchao Qian Haiying Tong Lifeng Yue Hui Zhao Dawei Wang Dawei Lu Pengcheng Li Xinrong Wang 2013Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2013,33,2:5
9Evaluation of pavement skid resistance using high speed texture measurement显示文摘Skid resistance is an important parameter for highway designs,construction,management,maintenance and safety.The purpose of this manuscript is to propose the correlation between skid resistance,which is measured as skid resistance trailer,and mean profile depth(MPD)or the macro surface texture,which is measured by vehicle mounted laser,so that highway agencies can predict the skid resistance of pavement without the use of expensive and time consuming skid resistance trailer,which also causes disruption of traffic in use.In this research skid numbers and MPD from 5 new asphalt pavements and4 old asphalt pavements were collected using a locked wheel skid trailer and a vehicle mounted laser.Using the data collected,a correlation between the skid number(SN40R)collected by locked wheel skid tester and the texture data or MPD collected by a vehicle mounted laser operating at highway speeds was developed.The proposed correlation for new pavements was positive for MPD values less than 0.75 mm to reach a peak SN40R value,then there was a negative correlation as the MPD increases until the MPD value was equal to 1.1 mm and beyond the MPD value of 1.1 mm to the maximum value of 1.4 mm,SN40R value remained almost constant.There were significant data scatter for the MPD value of 0.8 mm.To explain these results,water film thickness during the friction test was calculated and the critical MPD was defined.The effect of sealed water pool on the SN40R was discussed.The test result showed a similar trend for older asphalt pavements,but with lower SN40R values due to the polishing of pavement micro-texture by traffic.Hence,a reduction factor was proposed for older pavements based on cumulative traffic volume for the above correlation to predict the skid resistance of older pavements.Jay N.Meegoda Shengyan Gao 2015Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering(English Edition)2015,2,6:5
10New insights on the enhanced non-hydroxyl radical contribution under copper promoted TiO_(2)/GO for the photodegradation of tetracycline hydrochloride显示文摘TiO_(2)/graphene oxide(GO)as photocatalyst in the photo-degradation of multitudinous pollutants has been extensively studied.But its low photocatalytic efficiency is attributed to the high band gap energy which lead to low light utilization.Cu-TiO_(2)/GO was synthesized via the impregnation methods to enhance the catalytic performance.The Cu-TiO_(2)/GO reaction rate constant for photo-degradation of pollutants(tetracycline hydrochloride,TC)was about 1.4 times that of TiO_(2)/GO.In 90 min,the removal ratio of Cu-TiO_(2)/GO for TC was 98%,and the maximum degradation ratio occurred at p H 5.After five cycles,the removal ratio of Cu-Ti O_(2)/GO still exceeded 98%.UV-visible adsorption spectra of Cu-Ti O_(2)/GO showed that its band gap was narrower than TiO_(2)/GO.Electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)spectra test illustrated the generation rate of·O_(2)^(-)and·OH was higher in Cu-TiO_(2)/GO system than TiO_(2)/GO and TiO_(2) system.The contribution sequence of oxidative species was·O_(2)^(-)>holes(h+)>·OH in both TiO_(2)/GO and Cu-Ti O_(2)/GO system.Interestingly,the contribution of·OH in Cu-TiO_(2)/GO was less than that in TiO_(2)/GO during the photo-degradation process.This phenomenon was attributed to the better adsorption performance of Cu-Ti O_(2)/GO which could reduce the accessibility of TC to·OH in liquid.The enhanced non-hydroxyl radical contribution could be attributed to that the more other active species or sites on(nearby)the surface of Cu-TiO_(2)/GO generated after doping Cu.These results provide a new perspective for the tradition metal-doped conventional catalysts to enhance the removal of organic pollutants in the environment.Sijia Qian Shengyan Pu Ying Zhang Peng Wang Yingchen Bai Bo Lai 2021Journal of Environmental Sciences2021,33,2:4

12Zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb dating and Sr-Nd isotope study of the Guposhan granite complex, Guangxi, China显示文摘Zircon U-Pb dating by the LA-ICP-MS method was applied to determining the ages of different units of the Guposhan granite complex, among which the East Guposhan unit is 160.8±1.6 Ma, the West Guposhan unit is 165.0±1.9 Ma, and the Lisong unit is 163.0±1.3 Ma in age. Much similarity in ages of the three units has thus proved that the whole Guposhan granite complex was formed in the same period of time. They were the products of large-scale granitic magmatism through crust-remelting in the first stage of the Middle Yanshanian in South China. However, the three units have differences both in petrology and in geochemistry. Besides the differences in major, trace and rare-earth elements, they are distinct in their Rb-Sr and Sm-Nd isotopic compositions. The East Guposhan unit and Lisong unit and its enclaves have a similar (87Sr/86Sr)i value of 0.7064 with an average of εNd(t)=-3.03, indicating that more mantle material was evolved in the magma derivation; whereas the West Guposhan unit has a higher (87Sr/86Sr)i value of 0.7173 but a lower εNd(t) value of -5.00, and is characterized by strong negative Eu anomalies and higher Rb/Sr ratios, suggesting that its source materials were composed of relatively old crust components and new mantle-derived components. In addition, an inherited zircon grain in the East Guposhan unit (GP-1) yielded a 206Pb/238U age of 806.4 Ma, which is similar to the ages of the Jiulin cordierite granite in northern Jiangxi and of the Yinqiao migmatic granite in Guangxi in the HZH granite zone. 13Plasmonic silver/silver oxide nanoparticles anchored bismuth vanadate as a novel visible-light ternary photocatalyst for degrading pharmaceutical micropollutants显示文摘The degradation of pharmaceutical micropollutants is an intensifying environmental problem and synthesis of efficient photocatalysts for this purpose is one of the foremost challenges worldwide.Therefore,this study was conducted to develop novel plasmonic Ag/Ag2O/BiVO4 nanocomposite photocatalysts by simple precipitation and thermal decomposition methods,which could exhibit higher photocatalytic activity for mineralized pharmaceutical micropollutants.Among the different treatments,the best performance was observed for the Ag/Ag2O/BiVO4 nanocomposites (5 wt.%;10 min’s visible light irradiation)which exhibited 6.57 times higher photodegradation rate than the pure BiVO4.Further,the effects of different influencing factors on the photodegradation system of tetracycline hydrochloride (TC-HCl) were investigated and the feasibility for its practical application was explored through the specific light sources,water source and cycle experiments.The mechanistic study demonstrated that the photogenerated holes (h^+),superoxide radicals (·O2^-)and hydroxyl radicals (·OH) participated in TC-HCl removal process,which is different from the pure BiVO4 reaction system.Hence,the present work can provide a new approach for the formation of novel plasmonic photocatalysts with high photoactivity and can act as effective practical application for environmental remediation.Shengyan Pu Zeng Yang Jing Tang Hui Ma Shengyang Xue Yingchen Bai 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,10:3
14A data-driven framework to predict the morphology of interfacial Cu6Sn5 IMC in SAC/Cu system during laser soldering显示文摘A data-driven approach combining together the experimental laser soldering,finite element analysis and machine learning,has been utilized to predict the morphology of interracial intermetallic compound(IMC) in Sn-xAg-yCu/Cu(SAC/Cu) system.Six types of SAC solders with varying weight proportion of Ag and Cu,have been processed with fiber laser at different magnitudes of power(30-50 W) and scan speed(10-240 mm/min),and the resultant IMC morphologies characterized through scanning electron microscope are categorized as prismatic and scalloped ones.For the different alloy composition and laser parameters,finite element method(FEM) is employed to compute the transient distribution of temperature at the interface of solder and substrates.The FEM-generated datasets are supplied to a neural network that predicts the IMC morphology through the quantified values of temperature dependent Jackson parameter(αJ).The numerical value of αJ predicted from neural network is validated with experimental IMC morphologies.The critical scan speed for the morphology transition between prismatic and scalloped IMC is estimated for each solder composition at a given power.Sn-0.7 Cu having the largest critical scan speed at 30 W and Sn-3.5 Ag alloy having the largest critical scan speed at input power values of 40 W and 50 W,thus possessing the greatest likelihood of forming prismatic interfacial IMC during laser soldering,can be inferred as most suitable SAC solders in applications exposed to shear loads.Anil Kunwar Lili An Jiahui Liu Shengyan Shang Peter Raback Haitao Ma Xueguan Song 2020Journal of Materials Science & Technology2020,47,15:3

18Enhanced heterogeneous activation of peroxymonosulfate by boosting internal electron transfer in a bimetallic Fe_(3)O_(4)-MnO_(2) nanocomposite显示文摘Transition metal-based bimetallic oxides can effectively activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS) for the degradation of organic contaminants, which may be attributed to the enhanced electron transfer efficiency between transition metals. Here, we investigated the high-efficiency catalytic activation reaction of PMS on a well-defined bimetallic Fe-Mn nanocomposite(BFMN) catalyst. The surface topography and chemical information of BFMN were simultaneously mapped with nanoscale resolution. Rhodamine B(Rh B, as a model pollutant) was used to evaluate the oxidation activity of PMS activation system. The maximum absorption peak of Rh B obviously blue shifted from 554 nm to 501 nm, and decreased sharply to disappear completely within 60 min. The removal performance is better than most of the reported single transition metal oxide. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) imaging of the BFMN electronic structure after catalytic activation confirmed that the accelerated internal electron transfer is mainly caused by the synergy effect of Mn and Fe sites at the catalysis boundary. The outstanding ability of BFMN for PMS chemical adsorption and activation may attribute to the enhanced covalency and reactivity of Mn-O. 20Air-drying changes the distribution of Hedley phosphorus pools in forest soils显示文摘Hedley labile phosphorus(P)pools in soil tend to be several times larger than annual forest requirements,even in highly weathered soils characterized by P limitation.The discrepancy between plant and soil P status could be partly attributable to the frequently adopted air-drying pretreatment that tends to increase soil P solubility.In this study,the effects of air-drying on the distribution of Hedley P fractions were examined using soils collected under 4 forest types at Gongga Mountain,southwestern China.The results showed that the microbial biomass P(Pmic)in the organic horizon decreased markedly after air-drying.The concentrations of Hedley labile P in the air-dried samples were 31%–73%more than those in the field-moist samples.Consequently,the air-drying-induced increments of Hedley labile P pools in the surface soil horizons were 0.8–3.8 times the annual plant P requirements.The organic horizon was more susceptible to the air-drying-induced increases in Hedley labile P than the mineral horizon,probably because of the stronger release of Pmicand disruption of soil organic matter.The quality of P,indexed by the ratio of Hedley labile P to slowly cycling P,shifted in favor of the Hedley labile fractions after air-drying,further revealing that air-drying changed the distribution of Hedley P pools in forest soils.These indicated that the effects of air-drying could not be ignored when interpreting the discrepancy between the P status of plants and the Hedley labile P pools in forest soils.To more efficiently evaluate the P status in forest soils via the Hedley fractionation procedure,the use of field-moist soils is recommended.Jipeng WANG Yanhong WU Jun ZHOU Haijian BING Hongyang SUN Ji LUO Shengyan PU 2020Pedosphere2020,30,2:1
