1Finite groups with systems of Σ-embedded subgroups显示文摘In recent years,a series of papers about cover-avoiding property of subgroups appeared and all the studies were connected with chief factors of a finite group.However,about the cover-avoiding property of subgroups for non-chief factor,there is no study up to now.The purpose of this paper is to build the theory.Let A be a subgroup of a finite group G and Σ:G0≤G1≤…≤Gn some subgroup series of G.Suppose that for each pair(K,H) such that K is a maximal subgroup of H and G i 1 K < H G i for some i,either A ∩ H = A ∩ K or AH = AK.Then we say that A is Σ-embedded in G.In this paper,we study the finite groups with given systems of Σ-embedded subgroups.The basic properties of Σ-embedded subgroups are established and some new characterizations of some classes of finite groups are given and some known results are generalized.GUO WenBin SKIBA Alexander N 2011Science China Mathematics2011,54,9:14
2On solubility and supersolubility of some classes of finite groups显示文摘Let G be a finite group and H a subgroup of G. Then H is said to be S-permutable in G if HP = PH for all Sylow subgroups P of G. Let HsG be the subgroup of H generated by all those subgroups of H which are S-permutable in G. Then we say that H is S-embedded in G if G has a normal subgroup T and an S-permutable subgroup C such that T ∩ H HsG and HT = C. Our main result is the following Theorem A. A group G is supersoluble if and only if for every non-cyclic Sylow subgroup P of the generalized Fitting subgroup F*(G) of G, at least one of the following holds: (1) Every maximal subgroup of P is S-embedded in G. 7Finite groups whose n-maximal subgroups are σ-subnormal显示文摘Let σ={σi | i ∈ I} be some partition of the set of all primes P. A set H of subgroups of G is said to be a complete Hall σ-set of G if every member ≠ 1 of H is a Hall σi-subgroup of G, for some i ∈ I, and H contains exactly one Hall σi-subgroup of G for every σi ∈σ(G). A subgroup H of G is said to be:σ-permutable or σ-quasinormal in G if G possesses a complete Hall σ-set H such that HAx= AxH for all A ∈ H and x ∈ G:σ-subnormal in G if there is a subgroup chain A = A0≤A1≤···≤ At = G such that either Ai-1■Ai or Ai/(Ai-1)Ai is a finite σi-group for some σi ∈σ for all i = 1,..., t.If Mn < Mn-1 <···< M1 < M0 = G, where Mi is a maximal subgroup of Mi-1, i = 1, 2,..., n, then Mn is said to be an n-maximal subgroup of G. If each n-maximal subgroup of G is σ-subnormal(σ-quasinormal,respectively) in G but, in the case n > 1, some(n-1)-maximal subgroup is not σ-subnormal(not σ-quasinormal,respectively) in G, we write mσ(G)= n(mσq(G)= n, respectively).In this paper, we show that the parameters mσ(G) and mσq(G) make possible to bound the σ-nilpotent length lσ(G)(see below the definitions of the terms employed), the rank r(G) and the number |π(G)| of all distinct primes dividing the order |G| of a finite soluble group G. We also give the conditions under which a finite group is σ-soluble or σ-nilpotent, and describe the structure of a finite soluble group G in the case when mσ(G)=|π(G)|. 8Formation of methane hazard in longwall coal mines with increasingly higher production capacity显示文摘Increasingly higher hard coal production capacity in Upper Silesian Coal Basin(Poland) in the last two decades led to significant increase of methane hazard occurrence in the workings of exploitation areas.An increase of methane content in the exploited seams and in the surrounding strata, associated with increasing depth of mining, results in higher methane emission into the longwall areas from exploited seams and degassing seams in the mining-induced de-stressed zone. Operational experience gained by the collieries confirms that reducing methane release during longwall operations often requires decreasing operating speed of a shearer in a shift. 10Diagnostic accuracy of serum biochemical fibrosis markers in children with chronic hepatitis B evaluated by receiver operating characteristics analysis显示文摘AIM: To investigate the diagnostic accuracy of potent serum biochemical fibrosis markers in children with chronic hepatitis B evaluated by receiver operating characteristics (ROC) analysis.METHODS: We determined the serum level of apolipoprotein A-I (APO A-I), haptoglobin (HPT) and a-2macroglobulin (A2M) with an automatic nephelometer in 63 children (age range 4-17 years, mean 10 years)with biopsy-verified chronic HBeAg-positive hepatitis B.Fibrosis stage and inflammation grade were assessed in a blinded fashion according to Batts and Ludwig. We defined mild liver fibrosis as a score ≤2 and advanced fibrosis as a score equal to 3. ROC analysis was used to calculate the power of the assays to detect advanced liver fibrosis (AccuROC, Canada).RESULTS: Serum concentrations of APO A-I, HPT and A2M were not significantly different in patients with chronic hepatitis B compared to controls. However, APO A-I level of 1.19 ng/L had a sensitivity of 85.7% and a specificity of 60.7% (AUC = 0.7117, P = 0.035) to predict advanced fibrosis. 11A generalized CAP-subgroup of a finite group显示文摘Let A be a subgroup of a finite group G. We say that A is a generalized CAP-subgroup of G if for each chief factor H/K of G either A avoids H/K or the following holds:(1) If H/K is non-abelian, then|H :(A ∩H)K | is a p′-number for every p ∈π((A ∩H)K/K);(2) If H/K is a p-group, then |G : NG(K(A ∩H))| is a p-number.
