1Measurement and Interpretation of Connectivity of Chinese Cities in World City Network,2010显示文摘This is an empirical paper that measures and interprets the position of Chinese cities in the world city network in 2010. Building on a specification of the world city network as a′interlocking network′in which business services firms play the crucial role in city network formation, information is gathered about the presence of global service firms in cities. This information is converted into data to provide the′service value′of a city for a firm′s provision of corporate services in a 526(cities)×175(firms) matrix. These data are then used as the input to the interlocking network model in order to measure cities′connectivity and its predominant geographical orientation. 4Development of the triazole-fused pyrimidine derivatives as highly potent and reversible inhibitors of histone lysine specific demethylase1(LSD1/KDM1A)显示文摘Histone lysine specific demethylase 1(LSD1) has been recognized as an important modulator in post-translational process in epigenetics. Dysregulation of LSD1 has been implicated in the development of various cancers. Herein, we report the discovery of the hit compound 8 a(IC50=3.93 μmol/L) and further medicinal chemistry efforts, leading to the generation of compound 15 u(IC50=49 nmol/L, and Ki= 16 nmol/L), which inhibited LSD1 reversibly and competitively with H3 K4 me2, and was selective to LSD1 over MAO-A/B. Docking studies were performed to rationalize the potency ofcompound 15 u. Compound 15 u also showed strong antiproliferative activity against four leukemia cell lines(OCL-AML3, K562, THP-1 and U937) as well as the lymphoma cell line Raji with the IC50 values of 1.79, 1.30, 0.45, 1.22 and 1.40 μmol/L, respectively. In THP-1 cell line, 15 u significantly inhibited colony formation and caused remarkable morphological changes. 5Parallelization of intra prediction algorithm based on array processor显示文摘For the characteristics of intra prediction algorithms, the data dependence and parallelism between intra prediction models are first analyzed. This paper proposes a parallelization method based on dynamic reconfigurable array processors provided by the project team, and uses data level parallel(DLP) algorithms in multi-core units. The experimental results show that Y-component of peak signal to noise ratio(Y-PSNR) is improved about 10 dB and the time is saved 63% compared with high-efficiency video coding(HEVC) test model HM10.0. 6Resuscitating acupuncture therapy for glucose metabolism in acute cerebral infarction of basal ganglia显示文摘BACKGROUND:Acupuncture can improve motor function in patients with cerebral infarction, and activate brain glucose metabolism in relevant brain areas.However, the association between encephalic region activation and acupuncture, as well as the clinical significance of activation remain unclear.OBJECTIVE:Through the use of positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT), acute cerebral infarction patients were analyzed for global cerebral metabolism, cerebral infarction focus, peripheral edema, and pyramidal tract pathway changes, which were directly related to clinical symptoms.The influence of resuscitating acupuncture on cerebral glucose metabolism was analyzed in patients with acute cerebral infarction in basal ganglia.DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING:Randomized, controlled, clinical trials were performed from March 2007 to October 2008 at the PET-CT Center of the General Hospital of Tianjin Medical University, China.PARTICIPANTS:Twelve patients with acute basal ganglia infarction were recruited from the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tianjin Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Affiliated Hospital of Medical College of Chinese People's Armed Police Force.METHODS:The cerebral infarcted patients were randomly assigned to acupuncture and control groups.In addition to routine treatment, the acupuncture group was treated by acupuncture at the main acupoints for resuscitation [Neiguan (PC 6), Renzhong (DU 26), and Sanyinjiao (SP 6)], while the control group received routine treatment.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Before and after treatment, patients with acute cerebral infarction were evaluated for global brain, cerebral infarction focus, and surrounding edema and glucose metabolism in encephalic region of pyramidal tract conduction by 18-labeled fluorodeoxyglucose for PET-CT imaging.RESULTS:The resuscitating acupuncture therapy can significantly activate the metabolism of global brain, infarction center and surrounding edema in patients with cerebral infarction in basal ganglia, also has effects on the activation of glucose metabolism in the encephalic regions of pyramidal tract pathway (P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Resuscitating acupuncture was superior to routine treatment for significantly activating glucose metabolism in patients with acute cerebral basal ganglia infarction.Pengfei Shen Xuemin Shi 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,14:4
7High-purity magnesium pin enhances bone consolidation in distraction osteogenesis via regulating Ptch protein activating Hedgehog-alternative Wnt signaling显示文摘Magnesium alloys are promising biomaterials for orthopedic implants because of their degradability,osteogenic effects,and biocompatibility.Magnesium has been proven to promote distraction osteogenesis.However,its mechanism of promoting distraction osteogenesis is not thoroughly studied.In this work,a high-purity magnesium pin developed and applied in rat femur distraction osteogenesis.Mechanical test,radiological and histological analysis suggested that high-purity magnesium pin can promote distraction osteogenesis and shorten the consolidation time.Further RNA sequencing investigation found that alternative Wnt signaling was activated.In further bioinformatics analysis,it was found that the Hedgehog pathway is the upstream signaling pathway of the alternative Wnt pathway.We found that Ptch protein is a potential target of magnesium and verified by molecular dynamics that magnesium ions can bind to Ptch protein.In conclusion,HP Mg implants have the potential to enhance bone consolidation in the DO application,and this process might be via regulating Ptch protein activating Hedgehog-alternative Wnt signaling.Musha Hamushan Weijie Cai Yubo Zhang Zun Ren Jiafei Du Shaoxiang Zhang Changli Zhao Pengfei Cheng Xiaonong Zhang Hao Shen Pei Han 2021Bioactive Materials2021,6,6:3
8Out-of-time-order correlation for many-body localization显示文摘In this paper we first compute the out-of-time-order correlators(OTOC) for both a phenomenological model and a random-field XXZ model in the many-body localized phase. We show that the OTOC decreases in power law in a many-body localized system at the scrambling time. We also find that the OTOC can also be used to distinguish a many-body localized phase from an Anderson localized phase,while a normal correlator cannot. Furthermore, we prove an exact theorem that relates the growth of the second Rényi entropy in the quench dynamics to the decay of the OTOC in equilibrium. 9DETECTION METHOD OF SPOT WELDING BASED ON MULTI-INFORMATION FUSION AND FRACTAL显示文摘A novel detection method of support vector machine (SVM) based on fractal dimension of signals is presented.And models of SVM are made based on nugget size defects of spot welding. 10Effect of Planting Density,Fertilizer Level,and Number of Seedlings per Hole on Yield of Coix Lachryrma-jobi L.显示文摘In order to study high yield cultivation technology for Coix Lachryrma-jobi L.,and discuss the effect of planting density,fertilizer level,and number of seedlings per hole on yield of Coix Lachryrma-jobi L.,this paper took domesticated variety Xingren Small White Shell of Coix Lachryrma-jobi L. as an example. Using L9( 34) orthogonal design,it selected optimum combination of planting density,fertilizer level,and number of seedlings per hole to guide planting of Coix Lachryrma-jobi L.. Experiment indicated that the optimum planting density( spacing in the rows and spacing between rows) of Coix Lachryrma-jobi L. is 40 cm x 80 cm; the optimum fertilizer level is pure nitrogen 15 kg,pure phosphorus 15 kg and pure potassium 15 kg per mu; the optimum number of seedlings per hole is 5 seedlings per hole. 12Distrust Prediction in Signed Social Network显示文摘In social networks, the most studies focus on the trust prediction, but distrust cannot get enough attention. The distinct characteristics of distrust relations present challenges to traditional relation prediction.Distrust relations are very sparse in social network,and negative interaction data is too little. We embark on the problem to investigate the distrust prediction with only network topology. After achieving seven social distrusting-inducing factors, we adopt machine learning and optimization methods to model the prediction process.The framework of Distrust prediction in Signed social network(DP-SSN) is proposed, which can predict distrust relations without any interaction data. 16Study of the Single Shear Performance of a Joint with a New Beech and Self-Tapping Screw Composite Dowel显示文摘A new beech and self-tapping screw composite dowel is proposed and studied,its performance being compared with that of beech dowels and self-tapping screws alone.The single shear performance of components connected by composite dowels was tested.Results show that the dowels are a good choice for components requiring high stiffness.Screws remain a good choice for components requiring excellent seismic performance.Combination group presents similar maximum load stiffness to those of composite dowels,but other ductility parameters are superior for composite dowels.The best connection mode was provided by two composite dowels.Based on connecting two points,structural elements with two composite dowels showed much better load bearing ability than when joined by two beech dowels or by two self-tapping screws separately.The structural element with two composite dowels not only presented better initial stiffness,but also exhibited a better ductility coeffi-cient and less energy consumption.So,the composite dowels can be used for beam column connection,dowel laminated timber,and restoration or enhancement of ancient buildings.Xudong Zhu Yingying Xue Xuewen Zhang Pengfei Qi Jie Shen Changtong Mei 2022Journal of Renewable Materials2022,10,2:1
17A precipitate-free AlCoFeNi eutectic high-entropy alloy with strong strain hardening显示文摘Over recent years,eutectic high-entropy alloys(EHEAs)have intrigued substantial research enthusiasms due to their good castability as well as balanced strength-ductility synergy.In this study,a bulk cast Al_(19.25)Co_(18.86)Fe_(18.36)Ni_(43.53)EHEA is developed with fine in-situ lamellar eutectics.The eutectics comprise alternating ordered face-centered-cubic(L1_(2))and ordered body-centered-cubic(B2)phases with semicoherent interfaces.The resulting microstructure resembles that of most reported as-cast EHEAs,but the B2 lamellae are devoid of nano-precipitates because of the Cr-element removal in current tailored eutectic composition.Surprisingly,the B2 lamellae still feature much higher deformation resistance than the L1_(2) lamellae,so that less lattice defects are detected in the B2 lamellae until the fracture.More interestingly,in the L1_(2) lamellae we identify a dynamic microstructure refinement that correlates to extraordinary strain hardening in tension.The precipitate-free EHEA consequently shows excellent tensile ductility of~10%and high ultimate strength up to~956 MPa.Peijian Shi Yi Li Yuebo Wen Yiqi Li Yan Wang Weili Ren Tianxiang Zheng Yifeng Guo Long Hou Zhe Shen Ying Jiang Jianchao Peng Pengfei Hu Ningning Liang Qingdong Liu Peter K.Liaw Yunbo Zhong 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,30:1
18Near-infrared chemiluminescent carbon nanogels for oncology imaging and therapy显示文摘Carbon nanogels(CNGs)with dual ability of reactive oxygen species(ROS)imaging and photodynamic therapy have been designed with selfassembled chemiluminescent carbonized polymer dots(CPDs).With efficient deep-red/near-infrared chemiluminescence(CL)emission and distinctive photodynamic capacity,the H2O2-driven chemiluminescent CNGs are further designed by assembling the polymeric conjugate and CL donors,enabling an in vitro and in vivo ROS bioimaging capability in animal inflammation models and a high-performance therapy for xenograft tumors.Mechanistically,ROS generated in inflammatory sites or tumor microenvironment can trigger the chemically initiated electron exchange luminescence in the chemical reaction of peroxalate and H2O2,enabling in vivo CL imaging.Meanwhile,part of the excited-state electrons will transfer to the ambient H2O or dissolved oxygen and in turn lead to the type I and type II photochemical ROS production of hydroxyl radicals or singlet oxygen,endowing the apoptosis of tumor cells and thus enabling cancer therapy.These results open up a new avenue for the design of multifunctional nanomaterials for bioimaging and antienoplastic agents.Chenglong Shen Tianci Jiang Qing Lou Wenbo Zhao Chaofan Lv Guangsong Zheng Hangrui Liu Pengfei Li Lingling Dai Kaikai Liu Jinhao Zang Feng Wang Lin Dong Songnan Qu Zhe Cheng Chongxin Shan 2022SmartMat2022,3,2:1
19Variability of Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation in FGOALS-g2显示文摘The variability of Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation(AMOC) in the pre-industrial control experiment of the Flexible Global Ocean–Atmosphere–Land System model, Grid-point Version 2(FGOALS-g2) was investigated using the model outputs with the most stable state in a 512-yr time window from the total 1500-yr period of the experiment. The period of AMOC in FGOALS-g2 is double peaked at 20 and 32 years according to the power spectrum, and 22 years according to an auto-correlation analysis, which shows very obvious decadal variability. Like many other coupled climate models, the decadal variability of AMOC in FGOALS-g2 is closely related to the convection that occurs in the Labrador Sea region. Deep convection in the Labrador Sea in FGOALS-g2 leads the AMOC maximum by 3–4 years. The contributions of thermal and haline effects to the variability of the convection in three different regions [the Labrador, Irminger and Greenland–Iceland– Norwegian(GIN) Seas] were analyzed for FGOALS-g2. The variability of convection in the Labrador and Irminger Seas is thermally dominant, while that in the colder GIN Seas can be mainly attributed to salinity changes due to the lower thermal expansion. 20A Low-Cost High-Performance Data Augmentation for Deep Learning-Based Skin Lesion Classification显示文摘Objective and Impact Statement.There is a need to develop high-performance and low-cost data augmentation strategies for intelligent skin cancer screening devices that can be deployed in rural or underdeveloped communities.The proposed strategy can not only improve the classification performance of skin lesions but also highlight the potential regions of interest for clinicians’attention.This strategy can also be implemented in a broad range of clinical disciplines for early screening and automatic diagnosis of many other diseases in low resource settings.Methods.We propose a high-performance data augmentation strategy of search space 101,which can be combined with any model through a plug-and-play mode and search for the best argumentation method for a medical database with low resource cost.Results.With EfficientNets as a baseline,the best BACC of HAM10000 is 0.853,outperforming the other published models of“single-model and no-external-database”for ISIC 2018 Lesion Diagnosis Challenge(Task 3).The best average AUC performance on ISIC 2017 achieves 0.909(±0.015),exceeding most of the ensembling models and those using external datasets.Performance on Derm7pt archives the best BACC of 0.735(±0.018)ahead of all other related studies.Moreover,the model-based heatmaps generated by Grad-CAM++verify the accurate selection of lesion features in model judgment,further proving the scientific rationality of model-based diagnosis.Conclusion.The proposed data augmentation strategy greatly reduces the computational cost for clinically intelligent diagnosis of skin lesions.It may also facilitate further research in low-cost,portable,and AI-based mobile devices for skin cancer screening and therapeutic guidance.Shuwei Shen Mengjuan Xu Fan Zhang Pengfei Shao Honghong Liu Liang Xu Chi Zhang Peng Liu Peng Yao Ronald X.Xu 2022Biomedical Engineering Frontiers2022,3,1:1
