2Compensation trends of the angulation of first molars:retrospective study of 1403 malocclusion cases显示文摘We investigated the compensatory trends of mesiodistal angulation of first molars in malocclusion cases. We compared differences in the angulation of first molars in different developmental stages, malocclusion classifications and skeletal patterns. The medical records and lateral cephalogrammes of 1 403 malocclusion cases taken before treatment were measured to evaluate compensation of molar angulation in relation to the skeletal jaw. The cases were stratified by age, Angle classification and skeletal patterns. Differences in the mesiodistal angulation of the first molars were compared among the stratifications. We observed three main phenomena. First,angulation of the upper first molar varied significantly with age and tipped most distally in cases aged,12 years and least distally in cases aged.16 years. The lower first molar did not show such differences. Second, in Angle Class II or skeletal Class II cases, the upper first molar was the most distally tipped, the lower first molar was the most mesially tipped, and opposite angulation compensation was observed in Class III cases. Third, in high-angle cases, the upper and lower first molars were the most distally tipped, and opposite angulation compensation was observed in low-angle cases. These data suggest that the angulation of the molars compensated for various growth patterns and malocclusion types. 3Review of Chinese atmospheric science research over the past 70 years: Synoptic meteorology显示文摘Synoptic meteorology is a branch of meteorology that uses synoptic weather observations and charts for the diagnosis,study,and forecasting of weather.Weather refers to the specific state of the atmosphere near the Earth’s surface during a short period of time.The spatial distribution of meteorological elements in the atmosphere can be represented by a variety of transient weather phenomena,which are caused by weather systems of different spatial and temporal scales.Weather is closely related to people’s life,and its development and evolution have always been the focus of atmospheric scientific research and operation.The development of synoptic meteorology is closely related to the development of observation systems,dynamical theories and numerical models.In China,observation networks have been built since the early 1950 s.Up to now,a comprehensive meteorological observation systembased on ground,air and space has been established.In particular,the development of a new generation of dense radar networks,the development of the Fengyun satellite series and the implementation of a series of large field experiments have brought our understanding of weather from large-scale environment to thermal dynamics,cloud microphysical structure and evolution characteristics of meso and micro-scale weather systems.The development of observation has also promoted the development of theory,numerical model and simulation.In the early days,China mainly used foreign numerical models.Lately,China has developed numerical model systems with independent intellectual property rights.Based on the results of high-resolution numerical simulations,in-depth understanding of the initiation and evolution mechanism and predictability of weather at different scales has been obtained.Synoptic meteorology has gradually changed from an initially independent development to a multidisciplinary approach,and the interaction between weather and the change of climate and environment has become a hot and frontier topic in atmospheric science.This paper reviews the important scientific and technological achievements made in China over the past 70 years in the fields of synoptic meteorology based on the literatures in China and abroad,from six aspects respectively including atmospheric dynamics,synoptic-scale weather,typhoon and tropical weather,severe convective weather,numerical weather prediction and data assimilation,weather and climate,atmospheric physics and atmospheric environment.Zhiyong MENG Fuqing ZHANG Dehai LUO Zhemin TAN Juan FANG Jianhua SUN Xueshun SHEN Yunji ZHANG Shuguang WANG Wei HAN Kun ZHAO Lei ZHU Yongyun HU Huiwen XUE Yaping MA Lijuan ZHANG Ji NIE Ruilin ZHOU Sa LI Hongjun LIU Yuning ZHU 2019Science China Earth Sciences2019,62,12:7
4Enhancing hydrogen evolution of MoS_(2) basal planes by combining single-boron catalyst and compressive strain显示文摘M0 S2 is a promising candidate for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),while its active sites are mainly distributed on the edge sites rather than the basal plane sites.Herein,a strategy to overcome the inertness of the M0 S2 basal surface and achieve high HER activity by combining single-boron catalyst and compressive strain was reported through density functional theory(DFT)computations.The ab initio molecular dynamics(AIMD)simulation on B@MoS2 suggests high thermodynamic and kinetic stability.We found that the rather strong adsorption of hydrogen by B@MoS2 can be alleviated by stress engineering.The optimal stress of -7%can achieve a nearly zero value of △Gh(〜-0.084 eV),which is close to that of the ideal Pt-SACs for HER.The novel HER activity is attributed to(i)the Bdoping brings the active site to the basal plane of M0 S2 and reduces the band-gap,thereby increasing the conductivity;(ii)the compressive stress regulates the number of charge transfer between(H)-(B)-(MoS2),weakening the adsorption energy of hydrogen on B@MoS2.Moreover,we constructed a SiN/B@MoS2 heterojunction,which introduces an 8.6%compressive stress for B@MoS2 and yields an ideal AGh-This work provides an effective means to achieve high intrinsic HER activity for M0 S2.Zhitao Cui Wei Du Chengwei Xiao Qiaohong Li Rongjian Sa Chenghua Sun Zuju Ma 2020Frontiers of physics2020,15,6:4

8Kinetic modeling of high-temperature oxidation of pure Mg显示文摘A variety of experimental tracer diffusivities of Mg and O in magnesium oxide available in the literature were first assessed.Atomic mobilities including bulk and short-circuit diffusion of Mg and O were then obtained by means of the CALPHAD(Calculation of Phase Diagram)approach.Afterwards,the diffusion-controlled kinetic model of oxidation in a gas-MgO-Mg environment was developed based on the moving boundary model and Fick's law,coupling with the modified thermodynamic description of MgO.A mathematical expression for parabolic rate constant kp of the oxide scale was derived for magnesia and correlated with the thermodynamic and diffusion kinetic information.The evaluated kp results were in line with the experimental data.Finally,the oxidation process of pure magnesium at 673 K was model-predicted,and the predicted evolution of the oxide thicknesses agreed very well with the experimental data.It was indicated that the grain boundaries diffusion of magnesium cations predominated the high temperature oxidation process.Sa Ma Fangzhou Xing Na Ta Lijun Zhang 2020Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,3:2
