2GENUINE-OPTIMAL CIRCULANT PRECONDITIONERS FOR WIENER-HOPF EQUATIONS显示文摘In this paper, we construct the genuine-optimal circulant preconditioner for finite- section Wiener-Hopf equations. The genuine-optimal circulant preconditioner is defined as the minimizer of Hilbert-Schmidt norm over certain integral operators. We prove that the difference between the genuine-optimal circulant preconditioner and the original integral operator is the sum of a small norm operator and a finite rank operator. Thus, the pre- conditioned conjugate gradient (PCG) method, when applied to solve the preconditioned equations, converges superlinearly. 4Transient Temperature Field Analysis of Brake in Nonaxisymmetric Three-dimensional Model显示文摘The disk-pad brake used in automobile is divided i nt o two parts: the disk, geometrically axisymmetric, and the pad, of which the geo metry is three-dimensional. In the course of braking, all parameters of the pro cesses (velocity, load, temperature, physicomechanical and tribological characte ristics of materials of the couple, and conditions of contacts) vary with the ti me. Considerable evidence has show that the contact temperature is an integral f actor reflecting the specific power friction influence at the combined effect of load, speed, friction coefficient, thermo physical and durability properties of materials of a frictional couple. Furthermore, the physic mechanical state of t he interface of the disk and pads is determined not only by the contact temperat ure but also by the nonstationary temperature field. Using the two-dimensional model for thermal analysis implies that the contact conditions and frictiona l heat flux transfer are independent of θ. This may lead to false thermal elast ic distortions and unrealistic contact conditions. An analytical model is presen ted in this paper for the determination of contact temperature distribution on t he working surface of a brake. To consider the effects of the moving heat source (the pad) with relative sliding speed variation, a transient finite element tec hnique is used to characterize the temperature fields of the solid rotor with ap propriate thermal boundary conditions. And the transient heat conduction problem can be solved as a nominal 3-D transient heat transfer problem with an immovab le heat source. Numerical results shows that the operating characteristics of th e brake exert an essentially influence on the surface temperature distribution a nd the maximal contact temperature. 6Local injection therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world and ranks the third most common cause of cancer-related death. Surgical resection, liver transplantation and percutaneous ablation are generally considered the only curative treatment for early stage HCC. Besides the limitations of insufficient organ donors and a long waiting time for liver transplantation, however, resection is applied only to patients with good hepatic reserve and localized tumors, with a resectability of 30%. DATA SOURCES: Local ablation therapy, which is minimally invasive but contributes to the significant improvement of survival in patients with unresectable tumor, hasbeen widely used in treating small HCC. Among the techniques of local therapy, percutaneous ethanol injection (PEI) with a complete response in 80% of HCCs less than 3 cm has been accepted as an alternative to surgery in patients with small HCC. Moreover, percutaneous hepatic quantified ethanol injection (PHQEI) or PEI according to the standard criteria has been confirmed to benefit patients with HCC, especially when quantified ethanol is given at a short interval (QESI, the interval was 2-3 days). RESULT: Several limitations related to local percutaneous methods may result in incomplete therapeutic effect in case of larger HCC nodules (>3 cm). 7Preliminary study on the distribution of nutrients, organic matter, trace metals in sea surface microlayer in Xiamen Bay and Jiulong Estuary显示文摘-The enrichment of nutrients (NOa-, NOa-, PO43-), suspended particles, organic matter (POC, PON,DOC) , and trace metals (Cu, Ni, Cd) was determined in the sea surface microlayer of Xiamen Bay and Jiulong Estuary. The mean enrichment factors ([Xi]microlayer/[Xi ]15cm in depth) mostly ranged between 1 . 0 and 2. 0. The dissolved forms were the major forms of the components measured, the enrichment of dissolved organic matter and suspended particles could lead to the changes in the total amount and speciation of nutrients and trace metals. No correlation was observed between sample concentrations, speciation, enrichment factors and sample locations. 8Role of mangrove in mercury cycling and removal in the Jiulong Estuary显示文摘Baseline of mercury in mangrove swamp The mercury content in sediments in the Jiulong Estuary was determined in 1984 and 1985(Table 1). The highest content of mercury in sediments (300×10-9) was found in Ditou, contrast-ing strongly with the low content of 36×10-9 in Port Dongzhai in the Hainan Island. 17ON THE VARIATIONS OF G_2显示文摘In [1], Shen Guangyu constructed several classes of new simple Lie algebras of characteristic2, which are called the variations of G2. In this paper, the authors investigate their derivationalgebras. It is shown that G2 and its variations all possess unique nondegenerate associativeforms. The authors also find some nonsingular derivations of ViG for i = 3, 4, 5, 6, and therebyconstruct some left-symmetric structures on ViG for i = 3,4,5,6. 20Curie and Pauli Spins in Lithium Intercalated MCMB显示文摘The ESR signal of lithium intercalated MCMB can be well simulated by combination of a Lorentz curve and a Gauss curve. The ESR intensity of the Lorentz component is essentially independent of temperature while the Gauss component shows a linear change with the reciprocal of temperature, indicative of Pauli spin and Curie spin, respectively.
