| 1 | A review on photo-thermal catalytic conversion of carbon dioxide显示文摘The conversion of carbon dioxide into value-added products is of great industrial and environmental interest. However, as carbon dioxide is relatively stable, the input energy required for this conversion is a significant limiting factor in the system's performance. By utilising energy from the sun, through a range of key routes, this limitation can be overcome. In this review, we present a comprehensive and critical overview of the potential routes to harvest the sun's energy, primarily through solar-thermal technologies and plasmonic resonance effects. Focusing on the localised heating approach, this review shortlists and compares viable catalysts for the photo-thermal catalytic conversion of carbon dioxide.Further, the pathways and potential products of different carbon dioxide conversion routes are outlined with the reverse water gas shift,methanation, and methanol synthesis being of key interest. | 2 | Notch signaling pathway mediates the immunomodulatory mechanism of Yangfei Huoxue decoction alleviating bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the immunomodulatory mechanism by which Yangfei Huoxue decoction(YHD) alleviates bleomycin(BLM)-induced pulmonary fibrosis(PF) in rats.METHODS: Rats were randomly divided into two time-point groups(day 14 and 28), and each timepoint group comprised the following six subgroups: control, BLM, dexamethasone(DXM), YHD high dose(YHD-H), YHD middle dose(YHD-M), and YHD low dose(YHD-L). Haematoxylin and eosin and Masson staining, flow cytometry, enzymelinked immunosorbent assay, Western blotting and UPLC-QT of analyses were examined.RESULTS: The results showed that YHD reduced the degree of alveolar inflammation and fibrosis;downregulated the expression of CD28, CD80,CD86, Delta-like 1, Notch2, and Notch3;and upregulated the proportions of Th1/Th2 and Tc1/Tc2. | 3 | Trace bis-(3-sulfopropyl)-disulfide enhanced electrodeposited copper foils显示文摘Smooth and strong copper foils are highly required for the development of printed circuit boards and Li-ion batteries.Adding additives is an efficient and low-cost method to enhance electrodeposited copper foils.Here we chose Bis-(3-sulfopropyl)-disulfide(SPS)as the additive and investigated its concentration on the surface roughness and tensile strength of the electrodeposited copper foils.A copper foil with the smoothest surface(Rz=2.1μm)and the highest tensile strength(~338 MPa)was prepared with1.5 mg/L SPS.The contact angle on the copper foil decreased with the reduction of surface roughness.The enhancing mechanism of the SPS was investigated by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction.The refined grain and enhanced(220)texture were considered to be the radical reason for the smooth and strong copper foils.The electrochemical results prove the suppressing effect is related to the SPS adsorption. | Lingling Liu Yeqiang Bu Yue Sun Jianfeng Pan Jiabin Liu Jien Ma Lin Qiu Youtong Fang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,15: | 6 |
| 4 | COMPUTATIONAL FLOW RATE FEEDBACK AND CONTROL METHOD IN HYDRAULIC ELEVATORS显示文摘The computational flow rate feedback and control method, which can be used in proportional valve controlled hydraulic elevators, is discussed and analyzed. In a hydraulic elevator with this method, microprocessor receives pressure information from the pressure transducers and computes the flow rate through the proportional valve based on pressure-flow conversion real time algorithm. This hydraulic elevator is of lower cost and energy consumption than the conventional closed loop control hydraulic elevator whose flow rate is measured by a flow meter. Experiments are carried out on a test rig which could simulate the load of hydraulic elevator. | 5 | Fenitized Wall Rock Geochemistry of the First Carbonatite Dyke at Bayan Obo, Inner Mongolia, China显示文摘The first carbonatite dyke at Bayan Obo is well exposed on the surface for a length and width of approximately 60 m and 1.1–1.5 m, respectively. Along its strike, the fenitized H1(Qs) and H2(Cs) quartzite is replaced by Na-amphiboles, aegirines, and alkali-feldspars, intermittently stretching as far away as 800 m in length. Based on petrographical characteristics, the dyke's fenitized wall rocks are divisible into different zones:(1) outer,(2) middle, and(3) inner. The outer zone is 5–17 m from the NW margin of the dyke. The middle zone is located at 3.5–5 m from the NW margin of the dyke. The inner contact zone is located between direct contact with the dyke and 3.5 m from the dyke. In the outer zone, upon visual examination, no evidence of outcrop fenitization was found and the major elemental rock composition is nearly identical to the unaltered H1 and H2 lithologies. In the thin sections, however, small amounts of Na-amphibole and phlogopite are present. Despite relatively poor development throughout the 5 m of fenitization, the wall rocks have retained at least a small geochemical signature comparable to the original sedimentary protolith. The fenites occurring in the inner zone exhibit distinct variations, not only for the sharp contact at the outcrop scale, but also for variations in major, rare earth elements(REE), and trace elements and Sm-Nd isotope composition. The wall rocks within 3.5 m have undergone strong fenitization, inheriting the geochemical signature derived from the carbonatite dyke. Fenitization in the middle zone was not as strong, at least compared to the inner zone, but was stronger than the outer zone. Compared to some trace elements and REEs, the major elements are relatively immobile during fenitization. The Sm-Nd isotope data for the carbonatite dyke and the adjacent fenitized wall rocks, where the Sm and Nd originate solely from the dyke, plots as a six-point isochron with an age of 1308±56 Ma. This age is identical to that of ore-bearing dolomite carbonatite and the related ore-forming events, indicating that there may be a petrogenetic link between the two. | 10 | Colonization of Penicillium oxalicum SL2 in Pb-contaminated paddy soil and its immobilization effect on soil Pb显示文摘Penicillium oxalicum SL2(SL2) is a previously screened Pb-tolerant fungus that can promote crops growth. The relationship between SL2 colonization and Pb immobilization was studied to provide a theoretical basis for microbial remediation of Pb-contaminated paddy soil.In this study, green fluorescent protein(GFP) labeled SL2 was inoculated into different Pbcontaminated paddy soils(S1-S6). The Pb extracted from the soil by HNO, EDTA and CaClwere used to characterize the available Pb. The results showed that the colonization of SL2was divided into lag phase(0-7 days), growth phase(7-30 days), and mortality phase(30-90days). SL2 colonized well in sandy soils rich in clay and total phosphorus with initial p H of 4.5-7.0. In addition, SL2 increased soil p H and decreased soil Eh, which was beneficial to immobilize Pb. In different soils, the highest percentages of CaCl-Pb, EDTA-Pb, and HNO3-Pb immobilized by SL2 were 34.34%-40.53%, 17.05%-20.11%, and 7.39%-15.62%, respectively.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the percentages of CaCl-Pb and EDTA-Pb immobilized by SL2 were significantly positively correlated with the number of SL2 during the growth phase.
