1Micro-structural evolution and their effects on physical properties in different types of tectonically deformed coals显示文摘The macromolecular structure of tectonically deformed coals(TDC)may be determined by the deformation mechanisms of coal.Alterations of the macromolecular structure change the pore structure of TDC and thereby impact physical properties such as porosity and permeability.This study focuses on structure and properties of TDC from the Huaibei and Huainan coal mining areas of southern North China.Relationships between the macromolecular structure and the pore structure of TDC were analyzed using techniques such as X-ray diffraction,high-resolution transmission electron microcopy,and the low-temperature nitrogen adsorption.The results indicated that the directional stress condition can cause the arrangement of basic structural units(BSU)more serious and closer.And,the orientation is stronger in ductile deformed coal than in brittle deformed coal.Tectonic deformation directly influences the macromolecular structure of coal and consequently results in dynamic metamorphism.Because the size of BSU in brittle deformed coal increases more slowly than in ductile deformed coal,frictional heating and stress-chemistry of shearing areas might play a more important role,locally altering coal structure under stress,in brittle deformed coal.Strain energy is more significant in increasing the ductile deformation of coal.Furthermore,mesopores account for larger percentage of the nano-scale pore volume in brittle deformed coals,while mesopores volume in ductile deformed coal diminishes rapidly along with an increase in the proportion of micropores and sub-micropores.This research also approved that the deformations of macromolecular structures change nano-scale pore structures,which are very important for gas adsorption and pervasion space for gas.Therefore,the exploration and development potential of coal bed methane is promising for reservoirs that are subjected to a certain degree of brittle deformation(such as schistose structure coal,mortar structure coal and cataclastic structure coal).It also holds promise for TDC resulting from wrinkle structure coal of low ductile deformation and later superimposed by brittle deformation.Other kinds of TDC suffering from strong brittle-ductile and ductile deformation,such as scale structure coal and mylonitic structure coal,are difficult problems to resolve.Yiwen Ju Kray Luxbacher Xiaoshi Li Guochang Wang Zhifeng Yan Mingming Wei Liye Yu 2014International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2014,1,3:43
2A Modified Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm for Tumor Marker Gene Selection显示文摘Microarray data are often extremely asymmetric in dimensionality,such as thousands or even tens of thousands of genes but only a few hundreds of samples or less.Such extreme asymmetry between the dimensionality of genes and samples can lead to inaccurate diagnosis of disease in clinic.Therefore,it has been shown that selecting a small set of marker genes can lead to improved classification accuracy.In this paper,a simple modified ant colony optimization (ACO) algorithm is proposed to select tumor-related marker genes,and support vector machine (SVM) is used as classifier to evaluate the performance of the extracted gene subset.Experimental results on several benchmark tumor microarray datasets showed that the proposed approach produces better recognition with fewer marker genes than many other methods.It has been demonstrated that the modified ACO is a useful tool for selecting marker genes and mining high dimension data.Hualong Yu Guochang Gu Haibo Liu Jing Shen Jing Zhao 2009Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2009,7,4:6

4China organic-rich shale geologic features and special shale gas production issues显示文摘The depositional environment of organic-rich shale and the related tectonic evolution in China are rather different from those in North America.In China,organic-rich shale is not only deposited in marine environment,but also in non-marine environment:marine-continental transitional environment and lacustrine environment.Through analyzing large amount of outcrops and well cores,the geologic features of organic-rich shale,including mineral composition,organic matter richness and type,and lithology stratigraphy,were analyzed,indicating very special characteristics.Meanwhile,the more complex and active tectonic movements in China lead to strong deformation and erosion of organic-rich shale,well-development of fractures and faults,and higher thermal maturity and serious heterogeneity.Co-existence of shale gas,tight sand gas,and coal bed methane(CBM)proposes a new topic:whether it is possible to co-produce these gases to reduce cost.Based on the geologic features,the primary production issues of shale gas in China were discussed with suggestions.Yiwen Ju Guochang Wang Hongling Bu Qingguang Li Zhifeng Yan 2014Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2014,6,3:5
5Raman spectra and structure study of silicate glasses and their liquids显示文摘Stress index of tetrahedron (SIT) was defined to describe the topological connectivities among various sili- con-oxygen tetrahedra (SiOT) in anionic clusters of binary silicate crystals, glasses, and melts. It was found that the value of SIT was well correlated with the wavenumber of Raman active symmetric stretching vibration of non-bridging oxygen of SiOT. The spatial fractional dimension of hyperfine structure was introduced while comparative analysis was made with the value of SIT. It can be concluded that the concepts of SIT, vibrational wavenumber, and spatial fractional dimension were inherently and holographically correlated and exhibit isomorphic representations of complex structure of binary silicates. Experimental Raman spectra of binary silicates with different alkali cations were investigated. It was demonstrated that al- kali cations have little effect on the vibrational wavenumber of symmetric stretching of non-bridging oxygen (NBO) of SiOT, but remarkably affect its Raman active optical cross section, as was consensus resulted from ab initio calculation. It can also be concluded that the spatial fractional dimension of binary silicate is predominantly determined by the hyperfine structure of the anionic clusters and little affected by alkali cations, although the species of anionic clusters and their distri- butions were originally assigned by the content of alkali oxides. 6Review of interface tailoring techniques and applications to improve insulation performance显示文摘Interfaces between different materials,for instance,electrode-dielectrics and vacuum/air/SF6‐insulators and oilpaper,are universal in high‐voltage insulation systems.Targeted tailoring of the interfacial properties,e.g.chemical structures,micro‐/nanoscale morphology,the charge injection barrier,trap states,and surface conductivity,is thought to be an effective approach to improve insulation properties such as breakdown and flashover strength,corona/tracking resistance,and wettability.In this article,the authors review recent progress in interface tailoring methods and their application to improve various insulation properties.The potential application scenarios of interface tailoring in different facilities are first summarised,and the desired insulation properties of various applications are highlighted.Interface tailoring methods are classified as physical/chemical surface modification and surface coating(inorganic,organic and composite),and the features of different techniques are described in detail.The structure-property relationships between interfacial states and various microscopic parameters such as charge injection barrier,trap distribution and surface conductivity are discussed together with the tailoring mechanisms for different insulation properties.Finally,the future development prospects of interface tailoring methods and their applications,e.g.multi-functional coating and stimuli-response smart coating,are presented.Mingxiao Zhu Jianyi Xue Yanhui Wei Guochang Li Guanjun Zhang 2022High Voltage2022,7,1:4

8Estimation of stature by using the dimensions of the right hand and right foot in Han Chinese adults显示文摘The Han Chinese people are the main ethnic group in China and the largest ethnic group in the world.The dimensions of the hands and feet have been successfully used for the estimation of stature.A total of 26,927 healthy adult subjects,comprising 13,221 men and 13,706 women,were recruited.The survey samples were chosen through random cluster sampling.The mean values were significantly higher in men than those in women for all measurements(P<0.001).All the measurements showed a statistically significant correlation with stature(P<0.01).The combination of the right hand length and the right foot length was the best predictor of stature because it had the lowest standard error of estimate.The use of multiple regression equations yielded better results than did the use of linear regression equations.The accuracy of stature prediction ranged from ±4.81 to ±6.39 cm.The present study was of great importance with regards to improving the physical anthropology database of ethnic groups in China.Xinghua Zhangi Yu Wei Lianbin Zhengi Keli Yu Dapeng Zhao Jinping Bao Yonglan Li Shunhua Lu Huanjiu Xi Guochang Xu Youfeng Wen 2017Science China(Life Sciences)2017,60,1:4
9Effect of temperature on electric-thermal properties of semiconductive shielding layer and insulation layer for high-voltage cable显示文摘A semi‐conductive shielding layer plays an important role in the uniform electric field for a high‐voltage cable.The electric‐thermal properties of the semi‐conductive layer and insulation layer directly affect the overall insulation performance of the cable.The physicochemical performances of semi‐conductive composites are firstly analysed herein.Furthermore,electric‐thermal properties of the semi‐conductive layer and insulation layer are discussed.The experimental results show that the thermal conductivity of the commercial semi‐conductive layer is about twice that of the insulation layer,owing to the effect of carbon black.The thermal expansion coefficient of the insulation layer rises from 1.86×10^(−4)/K at 25℃ to 3.20×10^(−4)/K at 90℃.By contrast,the semi‐conductive layer begins to slowly decline at a certain temperature,and decreases signif-icantly to 2.25×10^(−4)/K at 80℃,owing to the effect of ethylene‐vinyl acetate copolymer(EVA).The electrical experiments show that the resistivity of semi‐conductive composite gradually rises with an increase in temperature,and gradually declines with an increase in the carbon black content.The dc breakdown strength of the composite structure of the semi‐conductive layer/insulation layer decreases significantly with an increase in tem-perature,decreasing from 307 kV/mm at 25℃ to 203 kV/mm at 90℃.At four typical temperatures,the breakdown strength reaches the maximum value when the carbon black content is 25 phr.It is about 15%and 19%higher than carbon black contents of 20 and 30 phr.These findings have reference significance for high‐voltage cable breakdown fault analysis and material selection in cable design.Yanhui Wei Mingyue Liu Xuejing Li Guochang Li Naiyi Li Chuncheng Hao Qingquan Lei 2021High Voltage2021,6,5:3

15Performance study on T-stub connected semi-rigid joint between rectangular tubular columns and H-shaped steel beams显示文摘This paper investigates the performance of T-stub connected semi-rigid joint of rectangular tubular columns and H-shaped steel beams.The finite element analysis software ABAQUS is used to analyze the nonlinear performance of the joint under monotonic loading.Meanwhile,the dimensions of T-stub,column and beam are considered as analytic parameters to discuss the performance of the joint.The analysis shows that the thickness and the length of T-stub webs,the height of beam section,bolt diameter,shear connector and the preloaded force affect the performance of the joint largely,and the thickness of the steel tube,the thickness and length of T-stub flange,bolt spacing have relatively little influences on the performance of the joint.The research results indicate that this joint is semi-rigid joint.Guochang LI Hongping YU Chen FANG 2013Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2013,7,3:2
16Orbit determination and thrust force modeling for a maneuvered GEO satellite using two-way adaptive Kalman filtering显示文摘A two-way adaptive Kalman filter is proposed by combining a two-way filter with an adaptive filter for orbit determination of a maneuvered GEO satellite.A method of using Newton's high-resolution differential formula and polynomial fitting for modeling the thrust force of a maneuvered GEO satellite is developed.The adaptive factor,which balances the contributions of the measurements and the dynamic model information,is determined by using a two-segment function and predicted residual statistics.Simulations with a maneuvered GEO satellite tracked by the Chinese ground tracking network were conducted to verify the performance of the proposed orbit determination technique and the method of thrust force modeling.The results show that refining the thrust force model is beneficial for the orbit determination of a maneuvered GEO satellite;the two-way adaptive Kalman filter can efficiently control the influence of the dynamic model errors on the orbit state estimate.XU TianHe HE KaiFei XU GuoChang 2012Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,4:2

18Study of aquatic chemical characteristic in some bays along the coastal region of Zhejiang Province显示文摘In this paper,the aquatic chemical characteristics in the Hangzhou Bay,Xiangshan Bay and Leqing Bay along the coastal region of Zhejiang Province are discussed . Results show that the seasonal variations of chemical elements are obvious. The distribution of silicate in Hangzhou Bay and contents of dissolved oxygen and nutrient in the Xiangshan Bay are found to be unusual in winter. Correlations among the elements are complex. The content of nutrient in the Hangzhou Bay is higher than that in Xiangshan Bay and the content of nutrient in the Xiangshan Bay is higher than that in the Leqing Bay . The variation of the ratio of N/P is obvious. This reflects the aquatic chemical characteristics in the bay. 19Boosting faradaic efficiency of CO_(2)electroreduction to CO for Fe-NC single-site catalysts by stabilizing Fe^(3+)sites via F-doping显示文摘The atomically dispersed Fe^(3+)sites of Fe-N-C single-site catalysts(SSCs)are demonstrated as the active sites for CO_(2)electroreduction(CO_(2)RR)to CO but suffer from the reduction to Fe^(2+)at~−0.5 V,accompanied by the drop of CO faradaic efficiency(FECO)and deterioration of partial current(JCO).Herein,we report the construction of F-doped Fe-N-C SSCs and the electron-withdrawing character of fluorine could stabilize Fe3+sites,which promotes the FECO from the volcano-like highest value(88.2%@−0.40 V)to the high plateau(>88.5%@−0.40-−0.60 V),with a much-increased JCO(from 3.24 to 11.23 mA·cm^(−2)).The enhancement is ascribed to the thermodynamically facilitated CO_(2)RR and suppressed competing hydrogen evolution reaction,as well as the kinetically increased electroactive surface area and improved charge transfer,due to the stabilized Fe^(3+)sites and enriched defects by fluorine doping.This finding provides an efficient strategy to enhance the CO_(2)RR performance of Fe-N-C SSCs by stabilizing Fe^(3+).Yiqun Chen Guochang Li Yu Zeng Lijie Yan Xizhang Wang Lijun Yang Qiang Wu Zheng Hu 2022Nano Research2022,15,9:2
20Agrobacterium-mediated transformation: state of the art and future prospect显示文摘Great progress has been made in recent years in studies on the mechanism of Agrobacterium-mediated transformation and its application. Many details of the key molecular events within the bacterial cells involved in T-DNA transfer have been elucidated, and it is notable that some plant factors which were elusive before are purified and characterized. Vast kinds of species, which were either recalcitrant to or not included in the host range of Agrobacterium, can' now be transformed by this bacterium, and they include the very important cereal species, gymnosperms, yeast and many filamentous fungi. The simple in vivo transformation of tissue in intact plants and the 'agrolistic' methods to transform recalcitrant plants are the two novel technical achievements. Combined with other powerful techniques such as bacterial artificial chromosome, very large DNA fragment can be transformed into the plant genome by Agrobacterium.
