| 1 | Hydrocarbon sources and stages of reservoir formation in Kuqa depression, Tarim Basin显示文摘Kuqa depression bears not only plenty ofnatural gas, but also a large amount of condensate and smallquantity of crude oil. Based on the geochemical correlationbetween the Jurassic and Triassic terrestrial hydrocarbonsource rock, this paper confirms that the natural gas in Kuqadepression belongs to coal-type gas and the main gas sourcerock is attributed to the middle to lower Jurassic coal seriesformation, while the main oil source rock is the upper Tri-assic lacustrine mudstone. The authors indicated that Kuqadepression was slowly subsided in Mesozoic, but rapidlywent down in Late Tertiary, which made the Jurassic andTriassic source rock suddenly deep-buried and rapidlyevolved to high and over-mature phase since 5 Ma. TheTriassic source rock is postponed to the Early Miocene dur-ing 23-12 Ma when entering the oil-generating peak, whilethe Jurassic is suspended to the latest 5 Ma, especially since2.5 Ma to the dry gas-generating period, which is one of thecharacteristics of the source rock thermal evolution in Kuqadepression. This paper presents a two-stage trapping andlate gas trapping model in Kuqa depression whose charac-teristics are: The main oil and gas reservoirs have differentsources. The oil reservoir is formed early while the gas res-ervoir is formed lately. During the early stage, it, mainly asoil, takes long distance lateral migration, while in the laterstage, it, mainly as gas, takes the vertical migration and alsohas lateral migration. | 2 | Prognostic value of systemic immune.inflammation index in patients with gastric cancer显示文摘Background:Inflammation-based indexes have been used to predict survival and recurrence in cancer patients.Systemic immune-inflammation index(Sll) was reported to be associated with prognosis in some malignant tumors.In the present study,we aimed to explore the association between Sll and the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed data from 444 gastric cancer patients who underwent gastrectomy at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University between January 1994 and December 2005.Preoperative Sll was calculated.The Chi square test or Fisher's exact test was used to determine the relationship between preoperative Sll and clinicopathologic characteristics.Overall survival(OS) rates were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method,and the effect of Sll on OS was analyzed using the Cox proportional hazards model.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were used to compare the predictive ability of Sll,NLR,and PLR.Results:Sll equal to or higher than 660 was significantly associated with old age,large tumor size,unfavorable Borrmann classification,advanced tumor invasion,lymph node metastasis,distant metastasis,advanced TNM stage,and high carcino-embryonic antigen level,high neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio,and high platelet-lymphocyte ratio(all P<0.05).High Sll was significantly associated with unfavorable prognosis(P<0.001) and Sll was an independent predictor for OS(P=0.015).Subgroups analysis further showed significant associations between high Sll and short OS in stage Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ subgroups(all P<0.05).Sll was superior to NLR and PLR for predicting OS in patients with gastric cancer.Conclusion:Preoperative Sll level is an independent prognostic factor for OS in patients with gastric cancer. | Kang Wang Feiyu Diao Zhijun Ye Xinhua Zhang Ertao Zhai Hui Ren Tong Li Hui Wu Yulong He Shirong Cai Jianhui Chen | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Cancer2017,36,9: | 30 |
| 3 | Prostate cancer identification: quantitative analysis of T2-weighted MR images based on a back propagation artificial neural network model显示文摘Computer-aided diagnosis(CAD) systems have been proposed to assist radiologists in making diagnostic decisions by providing helpful information. As one of the most important sequences in prostate magnetic resonance imaging(MRI), image features from T2-weighted images(T2WI) were extracted and evaluated for the diagnostic performances by using CAD. We extracted 12 quantitative image features from prostate T2-weighted MR images. The importance of each feature in cancer identification was compared in the peripheral zone(PZ) and central gland(CG), respectively. The performance of the computer-aided diagnosis system supported by an artificial neural network was tested. With computer-aided analysis of T2-weighted images, many characteristic features with different diagnostic capabilities can be extracted. We discovered most of the features(10/12) had significant difference(P<0.01) between PCa and non-PCa in the PZ, while only five features(sum average, minimum value, standard deviation, 10 th percentile, and entropy) had significant difference in CG. CAD prediction by features from T2 w images can reach high accuracy and specificity while maintaining acceptable sensitivity. | 7 | Novel Insights into Energy Storage Mechanism of Aqueous Rechargeable Zn/MnO2 Batteries with Participation of Mn2+显示文摘Aqueous rechargeable Zn/MnO2 zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)are reviving recently due to their low cost,non-toxicity,and natural abundance.However,their energy storage mechanism remains controversial due to their complicated electrochemical reactions.Meanwhile,to achieve satisfactory cyclic stability and rate performance of the Zn/MnO2 ZIBs,Mn2+ is introduced in the electrolyte(e.g.,ZnSO4 solution),which leads to more complicated reactions inside the ZIBs systems.Herein,based on comprehensive analysis methods including electrochemical analysis and Pourbaix diagram,we provide novel insights into the energy storage mechanism of Zn/MnO2 batteries in the presence of Mn2+.A complex series of electrochemical reactions with the coparticipation of Zn2+,H+,Mn2+,SO42-,and OH-were revealed.During the first discharge process,co-insertion of Zn2+ and H+ promotes the transformation of MnO2 into ZnxMnO4,MnOOH,and Mn2O3,accompanying with increased electrolyte pH and the formation of ZnSO4·3 Zn(OH)2-5 H2O.During the subsequent charge process,ZnxMnO4,MnOOH,and Mn2O3 revert to a-MnO2 with the extraction of Zn2+ and H+,while ZnSO4·3Zn(OH)2·5H2O reacts with Mn2+ to form ZnMn3O7·3 H2O.In the following charge/discharge processes,besides aforementioned electrochemical reactions,Zn2+ reversibly insert into/extract from α-MnO2,ZnxMnO4,and ZnMn3O7·3H2O hosts;ZnSO4·3Zn(OH)2·5 H2O,Zn2Mn3O8,and ZnMn2O4 convert mutually with the participation of Mn2+.This work is believed to provide theoretical guidance for further research on high-performance ZIBs. | Yongfeng Huang Jian Mou Wenbao Liu Xianli Wang Liubing Dong Feiyu Kang Chengjun Xu | 2019 | Nano-Micro Letters2019,11,3: | 11 |

| 9 | Mercury contamination in aquatic ecosystems under a changing environment:Implications for the Three Gorges Reservoir显示文摘Mercury is one of the primary contaminants of global concern.As anthropogenic emissions of mercury are gradually placed under control,evidence is emerging that biotic mercury levels in many aquatic ecosystems are increasingly driven by internal biogeochemical processes,especially in ecosystems that have been undergoing dramatic environmental changes.Here we review the unique properties of mercury that are responsible for the exceptional sensitivity of its biogeochemical cycles to changes in climatic,geochemical,biological and ecological processes.We show that,due to rapid climate warming,a shift from sources-driven to processes-driven mercury bioaccumulation is already happening in the Arctic marine ecosystem.We further suggest that such a shift might also be operating in the Three Gorges Reservoir due to changes in these biogeochemical processes induced by the damming.As a result,the effectiveness of mercury emission control is expected to be followed by long delays before ensuing reduction is seen in food-web levels,making it all the more pressing to control and reduce mercury emissions to the reservoir.Long-term monitoring and targeted studies are urgently needed to understand how biotic mercury levels in the reservoir are responding to changes in mercury emissions and in biogeochemical processes. | WANG Feiyue ZHANG JinZhong | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,2: | 8 |
| 10 | Enhanced high-temperature performance of Li-rich layered oxide via surface heterophase coating显示文摘Li-rich layered oxides have become one of the most concerned cathode materials for high-energy lithiumion batteries, but they still suffer from poor cycling stability and detrimental voltage decay, especially at elevated temperature. Herein, we proposed a surface heterophase coating engineering based on amorphous/crystalline Li3 PO4 to address these issues for Li-rich layered oxides via a facile wet chemical method. The heterophase coating layer combines the advantages of physical barrier effect achieved by amorphous Li3 PO4 with facilitated Li+diffusion stemmed from crystalline Li3 PO4. Consequently, the modified Li(1.2) Ni(0.2) Mn(0.6) O2 delivers higher initial coulombic efficiency of 92% with enhanced cycling stability at 55 °C(192.9 mAh/g after 100 cycles at 1 C). More importantly, the intrinsic voltage decay has been inhibited as well, i.e. the average potential drop per cycle decreases from 5.96 mV to 2.99 mV. | 11 | Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging evaluation of pelvic lymph node metastasis in bladder cancer显示文摘Background:Accurate evaluation of lymph node metastasis in bladder cancer(BCa)is important for disease staging,treatment selection,and prognosis prediction.In this study,we aimed to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of com-puted tomography(CT)and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)for metastatic lymph nodes in BCa and establish criteria of imaging diagnosis.Methods:We retrospectively assessed the imaging characteristics of 191 BCa patients who underwent radical cys-tectomy.The data regarding size,shape,density,and diffusion of the lymph nodes on CT and/or MRI were obtained and analyzed using Kruskal-Wallis test and χ^(2) test.The optimal cutoff value for the size of metastatic node was deter-mined using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis.Results:A total of 184 out of 3317 resected lymph nodes were diagnosed as metastatic lymph nodes.Among 82 imaging-detectable lymph nodes,51 were confirmed to be positive for metastasis.The detection rate of metastatic nodes increased along with more advanced tumor stage(P<0.001).Once the ratio of short-to long-axis diameter≤0.4 or fatty hilum was observed in lymph nodes on imaging,it indicated non-metastases.Besides,lymph nodes with spiculate or obscure margin or necrosis indicated metastases.Furthermore,the short diameter of 6.8 mm was the optimal threshold to diagnose metastatic lymph node,with the area under ROC curve of 0.815.Conclusions:The probability of metastatic nodes significantly increased with more advanced T stages.Once lymph nodes are detected on imaging,the characteristic signs should be paid attention to.The short diameter>6.8 mm may indicate metastatic lymph nodes in BCa. | Yong Li Feiyu Diao Siya Shi Kaiwen Li Wangshu Zhu Shaoxu Wu Tianxin Lin | 2018 | Cancer Communications2018,38,1: | 7 |
| 12 | Effects of nape acupuncture combined with swallowing rehabilitation on dysphagia in pseudobulbar palsy显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the therapeutic effects of nape acupuncture combined with rehabilitative swallowing training for dysphagia caused by pseudobulbar palsy, and to compare it with rehabilitative swallowing training alone, and to observe the improvement in quality of life after the therapy.METHODS: One hundred patients were randomly divided into two groups: the rehabilitative swallowing training group(control group, n = 50) and the nape acupuncture combined with rehabilitative swallowing training group(experimental group,n = 50). Each group had 8 weeks' therapy, 5 times a week. Patients in the control group received rehabilitative swallowing training, while those in the experimental group received nape acupuncture therapy based on swallowing rehabilitation. The out-comes were assessed by the repetitive saliva-swallowing test(RSST), water swallow test(WST), standardized swallowing assessment(SSA), and a swallow quality-of-life questionnaire(SWAL-QOL). Correlations of onset age, onset frequency and lesion location with the efficacy of the acupuncture treatment were also observed.RESULTS: The scores for RSST, WST, and SSA in both groups were lower than before the therapy(P <0.001), although the changes were more marked in the experimental group than in the control group(RSST and WST, P < 0.005; SSA, P < 0.001). Both groups recorded changes in SWAL-QOL index after the therapy(P < 0.001); and the experimental group scored higher than the control group(P < 0.001). | 15 | Garlic-derived compound S-allylmercaptocysteine inhibits hepatocarcinogenesis through targeting LRP6/Wnt pathway显示文摘Whether and how garlic-derived S-allylmercaptocysteine(SAMC) inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is largely unknown. In the current study, the role of low-density lipoprotein receptor(LDLR)-related protein 6(LRP6) in HCC progression and the anti-HCC mechanism of SAMC was examined in clinical sample, cell model and xenograft/orthotopic mouse models. We demonstrated that SAMC inhibited cell proliferation and tumorigenesis, while induced apoptosis of human HCC cells without influencing normal hepatocytes. SAMC directly interacted with Wnt-pathway co-receptor LRP6 on the cell membrane. LRP6 was frequently over-expressed in the tumor tissue of human HCC patients(66.7% of 48 patients) and its overexpression only correlated with the over-expression of β-catenin, but not with age, gender, tumor size, stage and metastasis. Deficiency or over-expression of LRP6 in hepatoma cells could partly mimic or counteract the anti-tumor properties of SAMC, respectively. In vivo administration of SAMC significantly suppressed the growth of Huh-7 xenograft/orthotopic HCC tumor without causing undesirable side effects. In addition, stable down-regulation of LRP6 in Huh-7 facilitated the anti-HCC effects of SAMC. In conclusion, LRP6 can be a potential therapeutic target of HCC. | 17 | Quantitative nanoscale mapping of three-phase thermal conductivities in filled skutterudites via scanning thermal microscopy显示文摘In the last two decades, a nano structuring paradigm has been successfully applied in a wide range of thermoelectric materials, resulting in significant reduction in thermal conductivity and superior thermoelectric performance. These advances, however, have been accomplished without directly investigating the local thermoelectric properties, even though local electric current can be mapped with high spatial resolution. In fact, there still lacks an effective method that links the macroscopic thermoelectric performance to the local micro structures and properties. Here, we show that local thermal conductivity can be mapped quantitatively with good accuracy, nanometer resolution and one-to-one correspondence to the micro structure using a three-phase skutterudite as a model system. Scanning thermal microscopy combined with finite element simulations demonstrate close correlation between sample conductivity and probe resistance,enabling us to distinguish thermal conductivities spanning orders of magnitude, yet resolving thermal variation across a phase interface with small contrast. | 19 | Effect of Short-term Forest Bathing in Urban Parks on Perceived Anxiety of Young-adults: A Pilot Study in Guiyang, Southwest China显示文摘Forest can be taken as a natural therapy to alleviate perceived anxiety of visitors. Given the geographical difference between urban and rural forest environments, little is known about the urban forest therapy effect of anxiety alleviation with reference to the rural forest. In this study, forty-three university students(aged from 19 to 23) were recruited as participants to visit the forest parks at urban and rural areas of Guiyang City on 21 and 23 December 2016. The forest experience was separated by four sceneries. Participants were asked to complete questionnaires by self-evaluating specific anxiety change from 12 questions with scores from 1 to 10 at both entrance and exit of the parks. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test and paired t-test were used to compare the change of anti-anxiety scores during forest bathing and between urban and rural forests, respectively. Results revealed that forest bathing in the urban park can alleviate the anxiety from financial state(P = 0.0028), exam-pass pressure(P = 0.0040) and love-affair relationship(P = 0.0286). Although rural forest bathing can also alleviate the anxiety from financial state(P = 0.0222), meanwhile, it maintained the anxiety about campus life(P < 0.0001). Forest tree richness tended to be higher in the rural forest park than in the urban one, which in contrast decreased the anxiety alleviation from inter-communication in the rural forest park(P = 0.0487). Principle component analysis indicated that participants tended to perceive more decline of anxiety from social contact in the urban forest. In conclusion, university students were recommended to pay a short visit to the urban forest with partners if they felt anxious about personal affairs and felt necessary to talk with others. | 20 | Feedrate scheduling method for constant peak cutting force in five-axis flank milling process显示文摘It is extremely important to select appropriate feedrates for the stable machining of parts with ruled surface in modern aviation industrial applications.However,the current studies take too much time to achieve this goal.Therefore,this paper presents an efficient feedrate optimization method for constant peak cutting force in five-axis flank milling process.The solution method of the instantaneous undeformed chip thickness(IUCT)is proposed using least squares theory with the cutter entry angle and feedrate as variables.Based on this method,an explicit analytical expression of the peak cutting force for each cutting point is established.Furthermore,a feedrate scheduling method is developed to quickly solve the appropriate feedrate under constant peak cutting force.To verify the proposed IUCT model,the fitting IUCT is compared with the accuracy data at different feedrates.Additionally,some experiments of five-axis flank milling are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the peak force model and the feedrate scheduling method.And the surface roughness before and after feedrate scheduling is detected.The results show that the proposed feedrate scheduling method can quickly adjust the feedrate and ensure constant peak force during machining.At the same time,the surface quality is kept at a high level. | Liping WANG Xing YUAN Hao SI Feiyu DUAN | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2020,33,7: | 5 |
