2Study on the Influence of Abrupt Climate Variation on the Vegetation Based on NDVI显示文摘[Objective] The research aimed to study the influence of abrupt climate variation on the vegetation based on NDVI. [Method] Based on NDVI and climate data in China during 1982-2000, by using Mann-kendall (MK) abrupt change detection method, the abrupt variations of climate and NDVI were detected. Then, the relationship between two kinds of abrupt variations was discussed. [Result] The large-area abrupt variations of monthly average temperature and rainfall happened in 1983, and the occurrence range in 1999 was the smallest. The large-area abrupt variation phenomenon of vegetation appeared in 1983 and 1984. The occurrence times of NDVI abrupt variation phenomenon which was induced by the abrupt variation of temperature was more than that of precipitation. The abrupt variation of rainfall wasn't one of main reasons for the occurrence of NDVI abrupt variation phenomenon. The small-area abrupt variation of temperature was difficult to generate the immediate influence on the vegetation activity in the short time. The abrupt variation phenomenon of large-scale temperature would generate the long-term influence on the vegetation activity. 3Research on nonlinear constitutive relationship of permanent deformation in asphalt pavements显示文摘To predict correctly the rut depths in asphalt pavements,a new nonlinear viscoelastic-elastoplastic constitutive model of permanent deformation in asphalt pave-ments is presented. The model combines a generalized Maxwell model with an elasto-plastic one. Then from the creep theory,the linear and nonlinear constitutive equations of the generalized Maxwell model are obtained. From the nonlinear finite element method for the rutting of the asphalt pavement,the rut depths of 4 asphalt-aggregate mixtures are obtained. And the results are compared with the ones from the finite element method by SHRP and the experiments by SWK/UN. The results in this paper are better than the ones by SHRP,and agree with the ones of the experiment by SWK/UN. This shows that the nonlinear viscoelastic-elastoplastic constitutive model,which is presented in this paper for the rutting of the asphalt pavement,is effective. The properties,such as nonlinear elastic-ity,plasticity,viscoelasticity and nonlinear viscoelasticity,which affect the rutting of an asphalt pavement,can be shown in the model. 6Analysis of the severe group dust storms in eastern part of Northwest China显示文摘Based on the available original dust storm records from 60 meteorological stations, we discussed the identification standard of severe dust storms at a single station and constructed a quite complete time series of severe group dust storms in the eastern part of Northwest China in 1954-2001.The result shows that there were 99 severe group dust storms in this region in recent 48 years. The spatial distribution indicates that the Alax Plateau, most parts of the Ordos Plateau and most parts of the Hexi Corridor are the main areas influenced by severe group dust storms. In addition, the seasonand the month with the most frequent severe group dust storms are spring and April, accounting for 78.8% and 41.4% of the total events respectively. During the past 48 years the lowest rate of severe group dust storms occurred in the 1990s. Compared with the other 4 decades, on the average, the duration and the affected area of severe group dust storms are relatively short and small during the 1990s. 7An integrated decision method for prediction of tropical cyclone movement by using genetic algorithm显示文摘In this study an integrated decision method for the multi-prediction results of tropical cyclone movements by using genetic algorithm (GA) has been adopted. A genetic learning artifi- cial neural network (GLANN) as a learning mechanism for track prediction was developed through training with the huge samples of typhoon tracks from 1884 to 2002. The prediction of typhoon motion is to consider how to suit the dynamic change of environment, where typhoon passed through. The neural network structure is described by GA. A fitness function for choice of GA is given to approach the maximum of fitness (the minimum of the errors). Parallel comparing analyses for prediction abilities of unusual typhoon tracks in recent years by GLANN with multi-forecast methods were conducted. More types of cases were employed in the comparing analyses, which consist of the typhoon, Winnie, No.11, in 1997, characterized by a long life over the ocean and in the mainland with severe effect on China, the 10 unusual typhoon tracks in the 1990s, the tracks with landfall and affected action in 1998 and the typhoons born in the Northwestern Pacific and the South China Sea in 2000, including the 24—48 h forecast, etc. The results indicated that for prediction ability of typhoon tracks, specially for unusual typhoons, GA decision-making developed in this study is superior to the others.YANG Yuanqin1 & WANG Jizhi2 1. 8A new method for multi-exponential inversion of NMR relaxation measurements显示文摘A new method for multi-exponential inversion to NMR T1 and T2 relaxation time distributions is suggested and tested. Inversion results are compared with MAP-II which is based on SVD algorithm and widely accepted in the industry. Inversed NMR relaxation spectra that have different pre-assigned relaxation times from echo trains with different SNR confirm that the new method with 16 to 64 equally spaced time constants in logarithm scale will ensure the relaxation distribution. 10Seabed Classification Using BP Neural Network Based on GA显示文摘Side scan sonar imaging is one of the advanced methods for seabed study. In order to be utilized in other projects, such as ocean engineering, the image needs to be classified according to the distributions of different classes of seabed materials.In this paper, seabed image is classified according to BP neural network, and Genetic Algorithm is adopted in train network in this paper. The feature vectors are average intensity, six statistics of texture and two dimensions of fractal. It considers not only the spatial correlation between different pixels, but also the terrain coarseness. The texture is denoted by the statistics of the co-occurrence matrix. Double Blanket algorithm is used to calculate dimension.Because a uniform fractal may not be sufficient to describe a seafloor, two dimensions are calculated respectively by the upper blanket and the lower blanket. However, in sonar image, fractal has directivity, i.e. there are different dimensions in different direction. Dimensions are different in acrosstrack and alongtrack, so the average of four directions is used to solve this problem. Finally, the real data verify the algorithm. In this paper, one hidden layer including six nodes is adopted. The BP network is rapidly and accurately convergent through GA. 17In situ reproductive organs of Early Cretaceous ferns from Northeast China显示文摘FILICOPSIDA is a predominant group of the Early Cretaceous floras of Northeast China, whichapproximates 100 species and accounts for more than one third of the floras. The majority ofthis group are of great importance and significance in stratigraphy. The previous studies ofthese ferns are mainly morphological, with only a few concerning the in situ spores andsporangia.
