| 1 | Peliosis hepatis complicated by portal hypertension following renal transplantation显示文摘Peliosis hepatis(PH)is a vascular lesion of the liver that mimics a hepatic tumor.PH is often associated with underlying conditions,such as chronic infection and tumor malignancies,or with the use of anabolic steroids,immunosuppressive drugs,and oral contraceptives.Most patients with PH are asymptomatic,but some present with abdominal distension and pain.In some cases,PH may induce intraperitoneal hemorrhage and portal hypertension.This study analyzed a 46-year-old male who received a transplanted kidney nine years prior and had undergone long-term immunosuppressive therapy following the renal transplantation.The patient experienced progressive abdominal distention and pain in the six months prior to this study.Initially,imaging studies revealed multiple liver tumor-like abnormalities,which were determined to be PH by pathological analysis.Because the hepatic lesions were progressively enlarged,the patient suffered from complications related to portal hypertension,such as intense ascites and esophageal varices bleeding.Although the patient was scheduled to undergo liver transplantation,he suffered hepatic failure and died prior to availability of a donor organ. | Chia-Ying Yu Liang-Che Chang Li-Wei Chen Tsung-Shih Lee Rong-Nan Chien Ming-Fang Hsieh Kun-Chun Chiang | 2014 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2014，20，9： | 11 |
| 2 | The Arabidopsis B-box protein BZS1/BBX20 interacts with HY5 and mediates strigolactone regulation of photomorphogenesis显示文摘Plant growth is controlled by integration of hormonal and light-signaling pathways. BZS1 is a B-box zinc finger protein previously characterized as a negative regulator in the brassinosteroid(BR)-signaling pathway and a positive regulator in the light-signaling pathway. However, the mechanisms by which BZS1/BBX20 integrates light and hormonal pathways are not fully understood. Here, using a quantitative proteomic workflow, we identified several BZS1-associated proteins, including light-signaling components COP1 and HY5. Direct interactions of BZS1 with COP1 and HY5 were verified by yeast two-hybrid and co-immunoprecipitation assays. Overexpression of BZS1 causes a dwarf phenotype that is suppressed by the hy5 mutation, while overexpression of BZS1 fused with the SRDX transcription repressor domain(BZS1-SRDX) causes a long-hypocotyl phenotype similar to hy5, indicating that BZS1's function requires HY5. BZS1 positively regulates HY5 expression, whereas HY5 negatively regulates BZS1 protein level, forming a feedback loop that potentially contributes to signaling dynamics. In contrast to BR,strigolactone(SL) increases BZS1 level, whereas the SL responses of hypocotyl elongation, chlorophyll and HY5 accumulation are diminished in the BZS1-SRDX seedlings, indicating that BZS1 is involved in these SL responses. | 11 | Field Transmission of 100G and Beyond:Multiple Baud Rates and Mixed Line Rates Using Nyquist-WDM Technology显示文摘In this paper,we describe successful joint experiments with Deutsche Telecom on long-haul transmission of 100G and beyond over standard single mode fiber (SSMF) and with in-line EDFA-only amplification.The transmission link consists of 8 nodes and 950 km installed SSMF in DT's optical infrastructure.Laboratory SSMF was added for extended optical reach.The first field experiment involved transmission of 8 × 216.8 Gbit/s Nyquist-WDM signals over 1750 km with 21.6 dB average loss per span.Each channel,modulated by a 54.2 Gbaud PDM-CSRZ-QPSK signal,is on a 50 GHz grid,which produces a net spectral efficiency (SE) of 4 bit/s/Hz.We also describe mixed-data-rate transmission coexisting with 1T,400G,and 100G channels.The 400G channel uses four independent subcarriers modulated by 28 Gbaud PDM-QPSK signals.This yields a net SE of 4 bit/s/Hz,and 13 optically generated subcarriers from a single optical source are used in the 1T channel with 25 Gbaud PDM-QPSK modulation.The 100G signal uses real-time coherent PDM-QPSK transponder with 15% overhead of soft-decision forward-error correction (SD-FEC).The digital post filter and 1-bit maximum-likelihood sequence estimation (MLSE) are introduced at the receiver DSP to suppress noise,linear crosstalk,and filtering effects.Our results show that future 400G and 1T channels that use Nyquist WDM can transmit over long-haul distances with higher SE and using the same QPSK format. | Zhensheng Jia Jianjun Yu Hung-Chang Chien Ze Dong Di Huo | 2012 | ZTE Communications2012，10，3： | 2 |
