1Soil hydraulic conductivity as affected by vegetation restoration age on the Loess Plateau,China显示文摘The Loess Plateau of China has experienced extensive vegetation restoration in the past several decades,which leads to great changes in soil properties such as soil bulk,porosity,and organic matter with the vegetation restoration age.And these soil properties have great effect on the soil infiltration and soil hydraulic conductivity.However,the potential changes in soil hydraulic conductivity caused by vegetation restoration age have not been well understood.This study was conducted to investigate the changes in soil hydraulic conductivity under five grasslands with different vegetation restoration ages(3,10,18,28 and 37 years)compared to a slope farmland,and further to identify the factors responsible for these changes on the Loess Plateau of China.At each site,accumulative infiltration amount and soil hydraulic conductivity were determined using a disc permeameter with a water supply pressure of –20 mm.Soil properties were measured for analyzing their potential factors influencing soil hydraulic conductivity.The results showed that the soil bulk had no significant changes over the initial 20 years of restoration(P>0.05);the total porosity,capillary porosity and field capacity decreased significantly in the grass land with 28 and 37 restoration ages compared to the slope farmland;accumulative infiltration amount and soil hydraulic conductivity were significantly enhanced after 18 years of vegetation restoration.However,accumulative infiltration amount and soil hydraulic conductivity fluctuated over the initial 10 years of restoration.The increase in soil hydraulic conductivity with vegetation restoration was closely related to the changes in soil texture and structure.Soil sand and clay contents were the most influential factors on soil hydraulic conductivity,followed by bulk density,soil porosity,root density and crust thickness.The Pearson correlation coefficients indicated that the soil hydraulic conductivity was affected by multiply factors.These results are helpful to understand the changes in hydrological and erosion processes response to vegetation succession on the Loess Plateau.REN Zongping ZHU Liangjun WANG Bing CHENG Shengdong 2016Journal of Arid Land2016,8,4:9

3MXene and MXene-based materials for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Lithium-sulfur(Li–S)batteries are regarded as potential alternatives to lithium-ion batteries due to their extremely high theoretical energy density.Nevertheless,Li–S batteries still suffer from low coulombic efficiency,low sulfur utilization,and poor cycling life,which hinder their further applications.To obtain ideal Li–S cells,intensive work has been dedicated to improve the conductivity of the electrode,inhibiting the shuttle of lithium polysulfides,and promoting the redox of sulfur.Two-dimensional transition metal carbides,nitrides or carbonitrides,also known as MXenes,attracting significant research interest in Li–S batteries due to their high conductivity,abundant active sites,layered structure and adjustable surface chemistry.In this review,we summarize the partial etching methods of MXenes with different surface terminations,the role of MXenes in Li–S batteries and MXene-based composites designed for Li–S batteries based on interfacial chemistry and interlayer structure.In the end,we also propose the perspectives of MXenes for Li–S batteries.Youquan Zhang Cheng Ma Weitao He Chunxiao Zhang Liangjun Zhou Gao Wang Weifeng Wei 2021Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2021,31,4:1
4Ultrathin covalent organic framework nanosheet-based photoregulated metal-free oxidase-like nanozyme显示文摘The exploration of low-cost and metal-free nanozymes with oxidase-mimicking activity is highly desired due to their attractive properties and potential applications.However,it is still challenging and remains unexploited to fully realize oxidase-like nanozyme in the emerging covalent organic frameworks(COFs)due to their polymeric nature and weak photoelectric activity.We herein report the first example of the preparation and oxidase-mimicking activity of novel ultrathin two-dimensional(2D)COF(termed as TTPA-COF)nanosheets.The ultrathin TTPA-COF nanosheets with hexagonal layered structure are constructed from two flexible photoactive(diarylamino)benzene-based linkers,and exhibit remarkable catalytic activity toward the oxidation of 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB)in the presence of O_(2) due to their large specific surface areas and abundant active sites.Moreover,it is worth noting that the nanozyme activity could be regulated by external light irradiation.Based on the oxidasemimicking activity of TTPA-COF nanosheets,a green colorimetric sensor is proposed for the sensitive and selective determination of glutathione(GSH)in a wide linear range of 0.5–40μM with a detection limit of 0.5μM.This work reported here would open new avenues for the exploration of low-cost and high-efficiency nanozymes,as well as extend the application of 2D COF nanosheets in the fields of catalysis and sensing.Yongwu Peng Minchu Huang Liangjun Chen Chengtao Gong Nanjun Li Ying Huang Changming Cheng 2022Nano Research2022,15,10:1

7SARS-CoV-2-specific immune response in COVID-19 convalescent individuals显示文摘We collected blood from coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)convalescent individuals and investigated SARS-CoV-2-specific humoral and cellular immunity in these discharged patients.Follow-up analysis in a cohort of 171 patients at 4-11 months after the onset revealed high levels of IgG antibodies.A total of 78.1%(164/210)of the specimens tested positive for neutralizing antibody(NAb).SARS-CoV-2 antigen peptide pools-stimulated-IL-2 and-IFN-y response can distinguish COVID-19 convalescent individuals from healthy donors.Interestingly,NAb survival was significantly affected by the antigen peptide pools-stimulated-IL-2 response,-IL-8 response,and-IFN-y response.The antigen peptide pools-activated CD8+T cell counts were correlated with NAb.The antigen peptide pools-activated natural killer(NK)cell counts in convalescent individuals were correlated with NAb and disease severity.Our data suggested that the development of NAb is associated with the activation of T cells and NK cells.Our work provides a basis for further analysis of the protective immunity to SARS-CoV-2 and for understanding the pathogenesis of COVID-19.It also has implications for the development of an effective vaccine for SARS-CoV-2 infection.Yunbao Pan Xianghu Jiang Liu Yang Liangjun Chen Xiaojiao Zeng Guohong Liu Yueting Tang Chungen Qian Xinming Wang Fangming Cheng Jun Lin Xinghuan Wang Yirong Li 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,8:0

9Controllable and flexible cellular network for virus cell-to-cell spread显示文摘Virus spread is closely related to pathogenesis.Traditional research methods of virus spread do not distinguish cell-to-cell spread from cell-free spread.The uncertainty of virus induced plaque and virus spread direction makes it difficult to track the spread of virus in situ.Herein,the cellular network was fabricated on the basis of PEG modification and soft lithography.Therein,cell numbers and spatial distributions we re p recisely controlled,e.g.,cellular netwo rks like 'WHU' can be achieved.Furthermore,a micro-injector was combined with the cellular network for virus spread on the fixed point,in which virus spread direction was limited in one dimension.The results suggested that controllable and flexible cellular network can be constructed on the PEG pattern.The synergia of micro-injector and cellular network provides an advanced tool to investigate virus cell-to-cell spread at the initial infection stage.Qiong Yan Cheng Wang Ji Wang Liangjun Pan Zhiling Zhang 2019Chinese Chemical Letters2019,30,6:0

11Research about distal-basin shallow-river fluvial-dominated delta mode of Xiaoheba formation of Silurian of Southeastern Sichuan Basin and thinking about oil and gas exploration显示文摘Through precisely measured data of field outcrops,wells logging data and samples analytical data in the research area,it is considered that the topography of the sedimentary period of Xiaoheba formation is relatively flat,the water flow is shallow and wide and the fluctuation is frequent,the supply of source is abundant,and it has favorable sedimentary conditions to forming shallow-river fluvial-dominated delta.The delta in the research area is a distal-basin sedimentary,and due to multiple branches and long extension of the river channel,there are large area of delta front sand deposits with fine grained development,high maturity and underwater environment existed within the research area.The Xiaoheba formation in the Jiannan-Fuling three-dimensional seismic region has the obvious characteristics of strong peak progradation reflection.Based on the above analysis,the sedimentary mode of shallow-river fluvial-dominated delta of Xiaoheba formation of Southeastern Sichuan Basin is established and the reservoir forming conditions are discussed.It is considered that the Xiaoheba formation has excellent hydrocarbon source,high-quality reservoirs and effective migration channel.This research has certain guiding significance for the next stage of tight marine clastic rocks oil and gas exploration of Southeastern Sichuan Basin.Lixue Cheng Liangjun Wang Yanping Luo 2020Petroleum2020,6,3:0
