| 1 | Voltage regulation in LV grids by coordinated volt-var control strategies显示文摘The increasing penetration level of photovoltaic(PV)power generation in low voltage(LV)networks results in voltage rise issues,particularly at the end of the feeders.In order to mitigate this problem,several strategies,such as grid reinforcement,transformer tap change,demand-side management,active power curtailment,and reactive power optimization methods,show their contribution to voltage support,yet still limited.This paper proposes a coordinated volt-var control architecture between the LV distribution transformer and solar inverters to optimize the PV power penetration level in a representative LV network in Bornholm Island using a multi-objective genetic algorithm.The approach is to increase the reactive power contribution of the inverters closest to the transformer during overvoltage conditions.Two standard reactive power control concepts,cosu(P)and Q(U),are simulated and compared in terms of network power losses and voltage level along the feeder.As a practical implementation,a reconfigurable hardware is used for developing a testing platform based on real-time measurements to regulate the reactive power level.The proposed testing platform has been developed within PVNET.dk project,which targets to study the approaches for large PV power integration into the network,without the need of reinforcement. | Miguel JUAMPEREZ Guangya YANG Søren Bækhøj KJÆR | 2014 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2014,2,4: | 10 |
| 2 | Experimental small bowel preservation using Polysol: A new alternative to University of Wisconsin solution, Celsior and histidine-tryptophan-ketoglutarate solution?显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the potential of Polysol, a newly developed preservation solution, in cold storage of small bowel grafts, compared with the current standards, University of Wisconsin solution (UW), Celsior and histidine-tryptophan-ketoglutarate solution (HTK). METHODS: Male Wistar rats were used as donors. Small bowels were retrieved, flushed and then stored in the respective 4 solutions for 18 h at 4℃. Functional integrity of the grafts was evaluated by isolated reperfusion with oxygenated Krebs-Henseleit buffer at 37℃ for 30 min in all 4 groups. RESULTS: Polysol preservation exhibited the highest tissue ATP concentration and the lowest release of LDH. Malondialdehyde, an index for tissue lipid peroxidation, was also the lowest in Polysol. Tissue oxygen consumption was significantly higher in Polysol than in the others. Of interest, UW-storage promoted 10-fold higher apoptosis than in the others. Moreover, electron microscopy revealed that the mucosal villi/micro-villi formation and the cell organelles, including mitochondria, were both significantly better preserved in Polysol, while deleterious alterations were apparent in the others, most notably in UW. Although Celsior and HTK exhibited the better trend of results than UW in some parameters, but could not reach the over-all superiority to UW.CONCLUSION: Cold storage using Polysol resulted in significantly better integrity and function of small bowel grafts than UW. | 4 | The endosomal-lysosomal system: from acidification and cargo sorting to neurodegeneration显示文摘The endosomal-lysosomal system is made up of a set of intracellular membranous compartments that dynamically interconvert,which is comprised of early endosomes,recycling endosomes,late endosomes,and the lysosome.In addition,autophagosomes execute autophagy,which delivers intracellular contents to the lysosome.Maturation of endosomes and/or autophagosomes into a lysosome creates an unique acidic environment within the cell for proteolysis and recycling of unneeded cellular components into usable amino acids and other biomolecular building blocks.In the endocytic pathway,gradual maturation of endosomes into a lysosome and acidification of the late endosome are accompanied by vesicle trafficking,protein sorting and targeted degradation of some sorted cargo.Two opposing sorting systems are operating in these processes:the endosomal sorting complex required for transport(ESCRT)supports targeted degradation and the retromer supports retrograde retrieval of certain cargo.The endosomal-lysosomal system is emerging as a central player in a host of neurodegenerative diseases,demonstrating potential roles which are likely to be revealed in pathogenesis and for viable therapeutic strategies.Here we focus on the physiological process of endosomal-lysosomal maturation,acidification and sorting systems along the endocytic pathway,and further discuss relationships between abnormalities in the endosomal-lysosomal system and neurodegenerative diseases,especially Alzheimer’s disease(AD). | Yong-Bo Hu Eric B Dammer Ru-Jing Ren Gang Wang | 2015 | Translational Neurodegeneration2015,4,1: | 4 |
| 5 | Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Calculated β Value of a Tetrahedral Zinc (II) Complex——Zn(2-NH_2py)_2Br_2显示文摘A new zinc(II) complex, Zn(2-NH2py)2Br2 (py=pyridine), has been synthesized, and its molecular structure has been confirmed by IR, elemental analysis and -ray crystal structure analysis. Its space group is P21/n with Mr=413.43 (C10H12Br2N4Zn), a=7.435(2), b=12.865(3), c=14.186(4)? b=94.08(2)? V=1353.5(5) 3, Z=4, Dc=2.029 g/cm3, F(000)=328, ?2.378mm-1, R=0.0283, wR=0.0501. The total observed reflections with I≥2?I) were 5314, of which the independent reflections were 3106. The complex structure contains a distorted tetrahedron formed by four atoms coordinated to zinc atom, namely two bromide atoms and two nitrogen atoms. The two ZnBr bond lengths within one molecule, 2.3763(6) and 2.4002(5)? respectively, are not equal; and so are the two ZnN bond lengths, which are 2.031(2) and 2.044(2)?respectively. The calculation results using PM3 method through MOPAC software package in Chem 3D show that its first molecular hyperpolarizability b value is 5.210-30esu, which is comparable with that of p-nitroaniline.
